The remotes have been set aside and the control is all done remotely via wifi using the TOSOT app from the Apple. The app was a bit tricky to set up but works well. The heat pumps are used in conjunction with an in-floor radiant heat system, supplied by a propane fired boiler and controlled by Nest thermostats. This enables us to reduce the heat requirements of the heat pumps to the 8 deg C minimum, to reduce risk of a boiler failure in the winter, and also minimize electrical usage by the heat pumps system. The A/C works very well in the summer. But the code doesn’t just fail to arrive — the app doesn’t even take me to the next page where I’m supposed to enter it.
