### 4/5 — Works great

*2026-08-29, version 3.17.1*

I know that you guys respond and i have a suggestion. I do know this app is old but i spend a lot of time going in and selecting it etc. I know i may sound lazy but i would like to say would it be possible to add shortcut automation with the app? Apple added shortcuts a while back and it works with basically every app i have except for this one. I would like to see features where it would be that you could set the temperature to 73 degrees or turn heat off or on etc. It would be very nice if i could click on an app and it turns system off.

### 4/5 — Good thermostat

*2026-08-24, version 3.17.1*

Thermostat itself works well. The app is functional. However app’s design is outdated. I reminds me of my first iPhone 4. And it’s super basic. Most options can be selected on web or on the unit itself only. I think it’s time to update looks and make more thermostat options available.

### 2/5 — Mr.

*2026-08-22, version 3.17.1*

This message is to the developer of the app.

The new interface is annoying for someone who has only one thermostat. In compare to the old interface I have to click 2 extra clicks to get to the control page.
The app should have a wizard to enter how many thermostat you have and based on that it loads up different interface.
If it is one thermostat and when launched it takes you directly to control page.
Or please provide a link to the old app version.
Please consider this feedback… Thanks

### 3/5 — Recent bug

*2026-08-16, version 3.17.1*

I’ve had this app for a couple of years now and have never had any issues at all until the last few months. For the last few months, every single day around the same time each day, the app forgets the temp I have my thermostat set to and changes it to 78 degrees. Every single day, always changes to 78 degrees. So, if we don’t notice the temp going up and catch it, or if we aren’t home, then everyday I’m having to go on and run my a/c, even harder than it already is, to drop the temp from 78 degrees to 70, which is what we keep it on. It’s unnecessary overtime for our a/c unit and I know it’s causing my power bill to go up. It’s never done this before so it has to be some kind of bug with a recent update or something.

### 4/5 — Its good but i need one more feature

*2026-08-14, version 3.17.1*

It works great and i love it but i need to have timer option where it turns it off automatically after set time. Please make it happen!

### 3/5 — Latest update mistake

*2026-08-12, version 3.17.1*

Before this latest update I would have given you 5 stars. I loved the convenience of the app. But now that I have to go through 2 screens to access my only thermostat, it’s annoying. Can you figure out a way for those of us with only 1 thermostat to go back to the way it was? I want to pull up the app and be able to adjust my thermostat from the first screen.

### 4/5 — Happy until recently

*2026-08-04, version 3.17.1*

I have had the total connect comfort app for six years. It has worked great up until the last few weeks. With an update or something, the menu is missing and I’m unable to change times and temperatures.
I need that option for leaving the house for vacations.

### 1/5 — Not very user friendly and outdated

*2026-07-27, version 3.17.1*

When the app tries to take you to the website because not everything can be done in the app(why?), the links never work!

Also, I can set a schedule on the control panel to change temperature when it’s day, night, when I leave the house etc. but I can’t control any of that in the app?

Lastly, the app UI looks like it hasn’t been updated since the iPhone 4 was released. Would updating the UI to a more modern look be too much to ask?

### 4/5 — No way to delete a thermostat

*2026-07-24, version 3.17.1*

This is a great app to control individual thermostats in the home. Only problem is there is no way to delete a thermostat from the app. If someone knows how to please let me know. I had to give this deleted thermostat a wacko name so I wouldn’t tap on it.

### 3/5 — Not very user friendly

*2026-07-23, version 3.17.1*

When the app tries to take you to the website because not everything can be done in the app(why?), the links never work!

### 4/5 — Good enough but

*2026-07-23, version 3.17.1*

One recent change that I do not like is that when I open the app it takes two extra taps just to get to my thermostat. I only have one location. I only have one thermostat. Can we make it so that the app always opens to my favorite thermostat or if I only have one installed it just automatically takes me to that?

### 2/5 — Missing a Simple Option

*2026-07-23, version 3.17.1*

I use the app for displaying my home thermostats. Originally, when I opened the app, it went to the landing page of both of my thermostats. Now I first have to tap on Home and then open the thermostats. It’s an extra step which becomes annoying. A simple feature to customize the landing page after opening the app would be great!

### 4/5 — Pretty good, but… They messed it up with the recent “improvements”.

*2026-07-22, version 3.17.1*

I have one thermostat. When I open the app, I have to click on two sequential icons to get to my thermostat, every single time. Totally unnecessary and annoying additional steps. It didn’t used to be this way. They messed this-up with the most recent update.

Please fix the app. Make it remember I only have one thermostat and when I open the app it goes right to it every time. No extra steps!

### 1/5 — Inconsistent

*2026-07-22, version 3.17.1*

This app randomly decides to not allow me to log into my account and control my thermostat, which is quite unfortunate.

### 1/5 — UPDATE: GAVE UP!

*2026-07-22, version 3.17.1*

UPDATE: Now the app is stuck in a loop and won’t let me back in. There have been NO APP UPDATES & this app definitely needs updating!!! Currently online to purchase different thermostat!!
I just updated the app. Unfortunately, instead of the app opening to the screen where I can edit the temperature, NOW I have to click through MULTIPLE screens just to get to that temp screen. I only have 1 thermostat - Tell me WHY I have to click through multiple screens that show I have only 1 thermostat, just to get to the spot where I can edit the temperature! Highly dissatisfied! If this isn’t corrected, I will find a better thermostat by another company. Such a pain!!

### 1/5 — App has stopped working

*2026-07-22, version 3.17.1*

Won’t let me log in or change password

### 2/5 — Does Honeywell do any common sense usability testing? (No)

*2026-07-22, version 3.17.1*

Do you own multiple businesses and homes with Honeywell thermostats? Me neither. The screenshots above show how clueless Honeywell is about apps. Since a 2025 update, you’re now required to wade through two screens to adjust the temperature on the one thermostat in your one home. Every… single… time. I’ve been using the Honeywell TCC app since 2016 when my new AC system was installed. That change last November was the only significant "improvement" to the app in 10 years. When it’s time for a replacement, I’ll go with a competitor that gets apps. (Honeywell: Don’t bother to thank me for my comment and invite me to call your 800 number for assistance. There’s nothing to talk about. Your app is objectively lame.)

### 1/5 — No good stopped working

*2026-07-22, version 3.17.1*

Don’t use this app the software is always having issues most of the time I can’t long in, developers must be sleeping.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Alerts are annoying

*2026-08-29, version 3.17.1*

The thermostat alerts show too often for too many days. Makes the app annoying for someone who uses it multiple times a day.

Update - if I need to remove the alerts, I need to call the company every single time

### 1/5 — Needs an update

*2026-08-20, version 3.17.1*

I had this app for many years and no problems. I switched phones and for a couple of days no problem. After that I cannot login at all. Keeps telling me I have the wrong password. I login online a web browser and no problem. It’s only thru the app that I have trouble with. Please update so I can continue to use app. I have already deleted and reinstalled the app a couple of times hoping it would fix the problem.

### 1/5 — STILL Waiting on Update to lose extra steps!!!

*2026-08-18, version 3.17.1*

Would you please respond with an actual update to help all the users with only ONE thermostat!?! You keep posting apologies for the inconvenience SO do something about it! Help us by updating with the ability to set a default thermostat that you land on when accessing the app. This used to be a good quick app to use for adjusting our thermometer. It’s a lousy now & I hate using it. The extra steps are ridiculous, and our requests for simplicity continue to be ignored.

### 1/5 — Energy savings opt out not working

*2026-08-14, version 3.17.1*

105° in Texas and I can’t opt out (and never opted in!) to an energy savings event! Absolute NIGHTMARE

### 1/5 — Still Waiting…

*2026-08-10, version 3.17.1*

Bump: 8-26
Still waiting to fix this app so the other 99% of us that don’t have 2 zones or more than one house can simply boot the app and make an adjustment? Why are we forced to go through which thermostat and where when it’s obvious within the app that there is only one thermostat?

Really? How hard can it be?

Bump! For the 99.9% of us that don’t have multiple zones or houses, this app just got a whole more inconvenient to use. NOW you have to choose which house and which zone you want just to simply to turn the temp up 1 degree. WHY?
This should be part of the config of this app. Need to add another zone or house?, ADD IT! Don’t inconvenience the rest of us for the .025% that MAY have 2 thermostats. Common guys.. FIX THIS! You get one star until it’s fixed

BUMP.. I see others are also complaining about this. When is it going to be fixed?

### 1/5 — Get Rid of Locations Tab

*2026-08-08, version 3.17.1*

My ipad app works correctly. My iphone app version 3.17 does not. It forces me to select a Home location when I only have 2 thermostats in my home andno other locations. The app worked correctly prior to 3.17. Previously I opened the app and my 2 thermostats pop up. Now there is this stupid step to select my Home each time I open the appl. Please fix. Its been 8 months since this got screwed up.

### 1/5 — Locations Behavior

*2026-08-07, version 3.17.1*

My Honeywell thermostats, red link, TCC app have worked great for years. I have written support and called support to discuss a bug introduced in 3.17. It has not been fixed. Note, my ipad works correctly. My iphone does not. I have 2 thermostats in my home. The correct and old behavior was open TCC app, see my thermostats, and adjust as needed. The 3.17 version opens the location tab showing my home location which I have to select to get to my thermostats. This is an unnecessary step and should be deleted. With only a home location the app should go straight to the thermostats. Please fix soon. Thx.

### 1/5 — Was good, not anymore

*2026-08-02, version 3.17.1*

The app was good until the function to turn my system on from the app went away. It is totally useless to me now that I cannot turn my hvac system on without physically being at my remote cabin.

### 1/5 — Voiceover access needs improvement

*2026-07-27, version 3.17.1*

The voiceover access needs improvement all the way around. This app is not functional
whatever recent changes happened to the app the down button or set temperature down button does not work at all under voiceover this is causing me quite a problem as I can't use my thermostat otherwise.

### 1/5 — Bring back previous version!

*2026-07-27, version 3.17.1*

I’ve had my Honeywell Wi-Fi total connect thermostat for about a dozen years now. It used to be that when I would open the app it would take me right to the page where I can make changes to the temperature I can, and I can set up a temporary hold or a permanent hold but now I have to go through two other screens just to get to that screen totally unnecessary and unneeded. I think you should bring back the original version that took you straight to the screen where you can make changes to the whole status and the temperature.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — After over 10 years still reliable and dependable

*2026-07-23, version 3.17.1*

Nice to see after well over ten years it’s still here and working.

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2026-07-23, version 3.17.1*

This thermostat saves us money and is easy to use. The app can adjust the thermostat anywhere and anytime.

### 5/5 — Feedback

*2026-07-02, version 3.17.1*

I love the app but has issues where it freezes up. Great wi-fi service with a strong signal. When it freezes up you can select locations and shows an error message;”web service error”. We just delete the app and reselect it on the App Store.

### 5/5 — Used to be easier to use…

*2026-07-01, version 3.17.1*

I’ve used this app for 8 years & it’s reliable, but a bit clunky as far as layout & look. The last update 7 months ago makes me go through an extra step to access my T-stat. This is annoying because I use it often every day. Adding multiple devices is fine, but in practice, a step backwards. Best features are being able to remotely change scheduling & temperature more easily than on the actual Honeywell device. Essential app, but could use improvements.

### 5/5 — Years of trouble free service

*2026-06-22, version 3.17.1*

I thought I’d leave a review for this app and my thermostat that I installed 10 years ago and still functions flawlessly. In the age of ensh%##fication, subscriptions, data harvesting, etc this app has simply continued to work no fuss. It never bothers me with upsales or useless notifications. It just controls my thermostat like it should for the last 10 years. Bravo!

### 5/5 — Simply put - it works

*2026-05-01, version 3.17.1*

Nothing fancy, no unnecessary bells and whistles. It works. Never had a problem, dropped connection, or any issues communicating with the thermostat.

### 5/5 — TCC

*2026-04-28, version 3.17.1*

What a great app!!

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2026-04-23, version 3.17.1*

The app allows full control of your thermostat and even notifies you if it gets too hot.

### 5/5 — Alexa

*2026-03-27, version 3.17.1*

Why will Alexa no longer communicate with this app?

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2026-03-22, version 3.17.1*

Works like clockwork! Very easy and convenient!
