## What is Total Quality OnSite?

Total Quality OnSite is the client and field app for Total Quality Group, a commercial janitorial and facilities services company serving Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia.

Access is for our clients and our employees — new accounts are approved by our office.

FOR BUILDING CLIENTS
See what was done in your building, without chasing anyone for it.

Nightly service reports, openable area by area
Graded monthly inspections, with score history
"Since you last visited" — photo highlights from the crew
Report an issue or request service, with photos
Request a proposal for additional work
Message your building's manager directly

FOR MANAGERS AND FIELD TEAMS

Daily task lists and end-of-shift reports
Nightly checklists and graded inspections, signed off on site
Order supplies against the building's monthly budget
Raise, assign and close work orders
Message the office, your crew and your buildings
Works offline — everything queues and syncs when signal returns

LOCATION
Location is used only for staff accounts, to record that a crew member was on site during their shift. Clients are never located. The app explains this before asking for the permission, and it can be turned off in Settings.

YOUR ACCOUNT
You accept our terms on first launch. You can delete your account from Settings at any time; deletion completes in 72 hours and can be cancelled from the app during that window.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-09-19

Order sheet (Managers & Supervisors)

The "In this order" view now lists the cart in the order you added things, rather than the catalogue's own order. Taking an item out and adding it back sends it to the end, since that reflects when it was (re-)added. The order that's sent, stored, shown on order cards, and added to the vendor's cart already followed this logic.

Dispatch sheet (Managers)

The sheet now pre-selects the right person for a shift request: a Day Porter Request marks the building's day porter, and a Night Crew Request marks its supervisor. This only applies to people with an app account, and only when no one is assigned yet. If both a day porter and supervisor match, neither is auto-selected — you choose. All other request types are unchanged.

Inspections (Managers & Supervisors)

The "Who is this work order for?" prompt no longer states that it can't be filed as a client request.

Tech routes (Technicians)

The "Not on today's route" list now sorts urgent jobs first, then by nearest location (using the phone's last known position, only if location permission is already granted). A red "!" flags jobs the office marked urgent.
Techs can now plan a job for a later weekday. Planned jobs move into a "Planned" section grouped by day, can be moved or unplanned, and are labeled "Missed" if the day passes without completion.

Work order stops (Technicians)

Marking a work-order stop done now opens the Mark complete form, requiring you to complete the work order first. The stop is only marked done once the work order is completed; backing out leaves everything unchanged. Previously, the stop could be marked done while the work order remained open.

Supplies / Equipment (Day Porters & Supervisors)

Supervisors and day porters can now report equipment via a new Orders | Equipment switch on the Supplies tab.
Before reporting a machine that someone else reported in the last 30 days (or that has an open request), you'll see who reported it, when, and whether it was a problem or a replacement — then choose "Send mine anyway" or "I'm OK — no longer needed."
Requesting a replacement on a machine with an open repair converts that request into a replacement.
The confirmation message after sending now specifies whether your report started a new request or was added to an existing one.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-09-16

Inspections (Managers & Dayporters)

- "Repeat last month" is now a choice. Pick any completed walk from the last
six months to start from, instead of always the most recent one.
- You decide whether last month's comments come across. Choose "No, clean" for
the same floors and areas with nothing filled in, or "Yes, carry over" —
which tells you how many comments it would bring.
- Photos are never carried over, so last month's pictures can no longer appear
  as this month's evidence.
- Add several areas to a floor at once, or copy another floor's layout,
instead of adding them one at a time.
- Remove an area from a floor when it does not apply — restrooms, parking, the
  building perimeter.
- Review a photo before you submit. Tap a picture attached to a checkpoint or
an area comment to open it.
- Typing "Floor 3" no longer produces "Floor Floor 3".
- Buildings open much faster, and show their progress while they load.

Notifications (All)

- Choose the kinds of notification you want, in Settings. What is offered
depends on your role — reports, requests and proposals, messages, day porter
  reports, and supplies.
- Tapping a notification now opens exactly what it is about — the report, the
request, the message — instead of just opening the app.

Plus fixes and refinements throughout.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-09-15

Profile pictures (employees & clients)
  - Set your own profile picture from Settings. Take a photo or choose one, and the TQ office reviews it before anyone else can see it.
  - Faces now appear on chats, team lists and contact cards.

  Messages (all)
  - Press and hold a message you received to report it to the TQ office.

  Inspections (managers)
  - Finished inspections now go to TQ's servers first, and the servers send them on for you. If your connection drops during an upload, it picks up where it left off, with no partial or duplicate inspections.
  - When you create a work order from an inspection, the app confirms it was sent and won't let you send it twice by accident.
  - The building search keeps your results after you close the keyboard.
  - Area headings are clearer while you walk a floor.
  - Operational inspections now work at buildings whose locations the app didn't recognize before.

  Supplies and buildings (managers)
  - Order status messages now say exactly where an order stands.
  - Buildings that don't take inspections no longer sit at the top of your priority list.

  Reliability and design
  - The tab bar now reaches the bottom edge of the screen, and sheets and lists stay clear of the home indicator.
  - If camera or photo access is off, the app explains why and takes you to Settings.
  - Changes you make while offline are never applied twice when they sync.
  - Your Accord sign-in is encrypted before it leaves your phone.
  - Field staff can have a Reports tab when the office turns it on.
  - Settings and features now refresh reliably after an update.
  - Performance and stability improvements.
