## Newest reviews (11 of 80)

### 3/5 — Missing two important features

*2021-03-20, version 3.10*

1. It does not automatically update dividends. This has been commented on by a number of reviewers.

2. It lacks the ability to share data with, or obtain data from, other cloud based programs. Having this feature would eliminate the need for the user to manually input data other than account login name and password.

Aside, several reviewers have stated the app cannot access mutual funds. I did not find this to be case.

### 4/5 — Please move to the next level

*2021-01-11, version 3.10*

This is a wonderful APP that only lacks two features. The first is the ability to handle Options. The second is Graphs.

1/11/2021 I am having trouble with AMZA. TotalReturn is presently reporting its value incorrectly. Please correct.

### 4/5 — Good app for tracking all your accounts

*2018-01-11, version 3.6*

I like this app but after the last 2 updates it not updating the price of mutual funds. So must of my 401k funds aren’t correct. Needs to be fixed.

### 2/5 — Great

*2017-11-09, version 3.5*

This is a great app for setting up and managing custom portfolios. Great job!

Updated 2017-11-08; stock update is not working with this update. Removed 2 stars.

### 4/5 — Very Flexible

*2017-05-24, version 3.4*

It takes a bit of time to setup, but great for tracking stocks you want to see on the fly. Been using for multiple years. Don't have to worry about signing on in public. Doesn't auto update dividends, but I manually input at beginning of year so I can tract performance of the year only. Would be 5 stars if I could just upload. Thumb print access would be OUTSTANDING future feature (hint hint).

### 4/5 — Excellent

*2017-01-16, version 3.3*

I really like this app, but just had one minor suggestion as it relates to mutual funds. Mutual fund shares are sometimes bought as a fraction of a share. So, for instance, if someone buys $100 of a mutual fund that is trading at $32.56 a share, the person has bought 3.07 shares. But, more accurately, the person has bought 3.07125307 shares of said fund. The asp, as far as I can tell, only goes out to the hundredths decimal position. The end result is that frequently, I'll enter in a purchase of $100 and the app rounds to $99.99 or $100.01. This is minor, it over time, it adds up. For instance, if you contribute $100 a month to a fund, and it is off by $.01 every month, after five years, you'll be off by $0.60. Again, not a huge deal and I still highly recommend, it fixing this would make the app nothing short of perfect.

### 5/5 — Quick & on Target

*2017-01-13, version 3.3*

Can't beat app for fast snapshot of your portfolio. $$ values & percentages are excellent. Click on / click off. Can't beat it.

### 5/5 — Great investment tracking tool

*2017-01-08, version 3.3*

I was looking for an app that would not only track totals for my investments but also performance. It is not the friendliest of apps to start out with but once I played with it for awhile I figured it out and it is really great. If they had bette tutorials or help, it might be better. Once I figured out which buttons to click, I was able to establish various portfolios with various investments inside each so at a glance I know how each portfolio is doing. By clicking on a given investment it tells me the gain or loss in dollars and percentage. It then bundles it all so I can see gross net worth at a glance and in real time. The one thing I don't like is that it is not capable of calculating a cash position that bears interest. If you have a position in cash that earns interest, you have to manually add it each time. Not a big deal though.

### 5/5 — Clean, simple, and effective

*2016-08-10, version 3.3*

Everything I wanted, nothing I did not. Ads in free version are not intrusive. No substantive difference between the free and paid versions. If the paid version was more reasonably priced I would totally give the makers $1.00 instead of the ads. No complaints though. Just a suggestion.

### 4/5 — Does what it's supposed to do

*2016-07-22, version 3.3*

The interface is not super user-friendly, which is why I didn't give it a 5. Adding stocks to specific portfolios isn't easy.

However, for a free app, it does everything it says it does which is cool. You can separate different portfolios to see how a subset of investments are doing. Also mutual funds are included in this which is really cool. Definitely recommend

### 5/5 — Perfect App for a quick look at your ROI

*2016-04-22, version 3.3*

I would pay $5.99 for this app. Great job!!!!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Needs updated...

*2018-03-23, version 3.6*

Does not work with any mutual funds so no tracking available for 401k’s and retirement funds.

### 1/5 — It's free because it's so bad!

*2018-01-11, version 3.6*

Deserves ZERO STARS!

App freezes all the time. Cannot add any information into the stock fields when trying to compile a portfolio of holdings. Don't even bother downloading this app--you get what you pay for. And you know that you're coughing up $ to remove the ads-- it's not that you get a working app that's better than this horrible totally unusable version.

Look elsewhere for an app that works. I will. This garbage is deleted from my library.

### 1/5 — Pulled support for CDN stocks!

*2017-12-04, version 3.5*

Very regrettable decision - would encourage the dev team to revisit this.

### 1/5 — WAS great, not anymore.

*2017-11-25, version 3.5*

Completely abandoned Canadian stocks and is now useless for Canadians unless they have a US only portfolio. Shame. WAS great.

### 1/5 — Please resolve issue of mutual funds not updating

*2017-11-23, version 3.5*

Stocks are corrected... thanks!...please correct mutual funds.

### 1/5 — Does not work for Canadian stocks

*2017-11-22, version 3.5*

Was great to calculate annualized return but it does not refresh quote anymore. I had been using this app for month with success but it’s over :(

### 1/5 — No good

*2017-01-20, version 3.3*

Can't get company or symbols properly. Stuck with what ever app finds right or wrong

### 1/5 — Doesn't update

*2015-04-22, version 3.3*

App will not update even with manually refreshing. Also, quotes are extremely delayed.

### 1/5 — Why dropped iOS 5. support?

*2013-11-08, version 3.3*

Why dropped iOS 5.support?
This mean you can't even use an iPad to use this app anymore only iPad2 and up.
I can use a PC that is 10 years old to access Yahoo Finance.
But to use a native iOS app is not pssible on a 3 years old iPad.
Guess this only happen in the Apple world.

### 2/5 — Mutual Fund support??

*2022-04-28, version 3.10*

What happened to support for mutual funds?? The app no longer updates mutual funds!!🤭😲🤭

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Love it

*2021-12-08, version 3.10*

Wish it could automatically keep track of dividends and splits but having full control is something nice too. Great stocks app.

### 5/5 — The best stock tracking app

*2020-01-30, version 3.10*

I’ve tried numerous apps to track the stocks in my portfolio, but this app—even the free version—has by far been the best. Other “free” apps only allow you track a limited number of stocks or transactions. No limits with one and the interface is very intuitive to use.

### 5/5 — Great little free app for following money weighted returns

*2019-06-09, version 3.8*

I’ve been using this app for 6 or 7 years now and enter all my trades into it. Wanted something that could track my money-weighted rate of return (I.e. annualized IRR). This app does just that, taking into account dividends and fees along the way. The export feature is also great, which allows me to easily import into other programs that can track IRR for any given period (you need all historical stock prices for that, which is beyond the capabilities of any app I’m aware of).

### 5/5 — Review

*2018-11-05, version 3.6*

I used the site to follow my mutual fund portfolios. Was very good and reliable. However, the site no longer tracks mutual fund prices. Believe it still does stocks

### 5/5 — Use daily

*2017-11-08, version 3.5*

Happy you fixed the update issue Nov 2017. I use your app daily.

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2017-11-07, version 3.5*

You can distribute your holdings between multiple portfolios. I use type of investment( us stocks, international stocks, bonds, etc.) It does require some time each month entering new positions, closed positions, dividends, cash, etc. But it works and can keep track of total return for individual assets and portfolios.
Love this app.

### 5/5 — Total Return Free

*2017-06-14, version 3.4*

Excellent!!! Does almost everything I need to keep track of my financial accounts, including dividend reinvestments.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2017-05-27, version 3.4*

Easy to check daily without security concerns

### 5/5 — Total Return

*2017-05-26, version 3.4*

Excellent financial tool to monitor your investment portfolio. Works as advertised. Breaks down your investments in a variety of ways at help you analyze your investments.

Have used this for a number of years now. Very effective and a quick way to check daily performance.

### 5/5 — Absolute Return

*2017-03-26, version 3.3*

My new favourite App. Exceeds expectations and could only be better if it had the ability to set a particular home currency.
