Now it is useless. Stop trying to be Waze. I really wish she would go back to the old version. I'm not interested spending time going through buttons and pages just to see if there is problem on my route. I just want to take a quick look, check for problems and go. I will not delete it yet, going to see if you respond to all the complaints, and fix it. Uses location after leaving app, can't find cameras at all anymore, impossible navigation around map as you click on highways to get info instead of just panning around map. It was done in by a update I accidentally allowed. Every time I turned it on, it just wanted to give me directions instead of giving me valuable information such as a major traffic jam. I knew how to get to work and all the other places I wanted to go. I hated to delete it- but after 2 weeks of waiting for them to fire whoever ruined the app and restore it- I dumped it. Stuck in Ft. It will show you specifics as to what is causing delays by simply clicking on the map. I'm a truck driver and the app works well for me when I get into bigger cities where alternate routes are available. But if not, then at least I know what the hold up is, where it is, and maybe even what lane will be the right one. Nice app. ### 5/5 — Live Cameras + Traffic Reports = Best Map App *2015-02-28* Other map apps seem to be so buggy and constantly crash my phone, making it hot and worried my phone will blow up. This app is awesome, accurate, with video cams, and looks so clean on my phone. I even found that I am an inch taller somehow after installing this. Things are certainly looking up. ### 4/5 — Loving the new app and obviously where it's headed *2017-08-23* Love the new traffic detail, the routing and saving of routes, the social aspect and the opportunity to contribute to better accuracy and currentness. It may have some areas for improvement but I'm sure they will be tackled, just like the old one. Yes, I'm initially resistant to change, and I like where they are going with this. Technical detail backed by a media company who wants to make your driving experience great with music, talk and now traffic data where I can contribute can only be positive. I'm all in. You have to skip multiple attempts to get you to create an account, then the graphics look like something on a 20 year program. And I don't see how to display traffic cameras either. ### 2/5 — Not impressed...one of the worst *2014-09-07* As a person who drives for a living, this is the same unacceptable traffic map info as on my vehicle's stock GPS system. There is no coverage in Canada even though TT (CCMS) has coverage in major cities like in Vancouver, although only during rush hour during weekdays. Data is typically inaccurate and delayed. In Portland during rush hour, traffic was congested for more than hour and TT didn't have any information on it. In LA, the same. These are just one of many examples. Data with Total Traffic isn't very good. Their map display, info, and icons et al leave a lot to be desired. It looks like it's something from the 1980s. Although still with their flaws, I recommend Beat the Traffic , Inrix, Apple Maps, Waze. and of course Google maps. Sigalert seemingly uses the same TT map data which I don't find it being useful or good. It's worse than the above mentioned.
