My very first order with Total Wine and the delivery came with the wrong item. I specifically went to this store for the variety. Disappointed. ### 4/5 — Fair prices. Good website. My one book is the best sale items are all on the so-called direct prices. How about some better deals on the name brands? My order was missing two bottles of D’USSÉ that were supposed to be packed in my box. A manager contacted me, acknowledged the mistake, and told me the two bottles would be included with my next delivery. My next delivery arrived — and once again, the bottles were not there. I called to get the issue resolved and was told they needed to speak with the manager, who wasn’t there. Since then, I have tried calling numerous times, and most of the time no one even answers the phone. What makes this even more frustrating is that I was only able to communicate with the store at one point through my Uber driver because I could not get anyone on the phone myself. This should not be this difficult. I’m not asking for anything extra. I paid for two bottles that I never received, the store acknowledged that I was owed them, promised to correct the problem, and then failed to do so. At this point, I no longer want the bottles. I simply want a refund for the two bottles of D’USSÉ that I paid for and never received. For a customer who has spent thousands of dollars with this company, the lack of communication and follow-through is extremely disappointing. A simple mistake could have been easily resolved. Instead, it has turned into an ongoing problem because I can’t even get someone to answer the phone. Also if you are placing an order near the top of the hour and chose the earliest delivery time, by the time you get through all of the wickets and it’s past the top of the hour, when you process your payment the app tells you your delivery window is no longer available. Instead of making us go all the way to the very beginning and put all that information in again, why not just allow us to select a different delivery window that’s available? The app needs a little bit of work. It’s very cumbersome and wastes valuable time.
