Logging in is painfully slow. Can’t add devices. Can’t inactivate clients. Can’t send restores on LOC8’s. Why not have a one stop shop? Would be great if it was convenient and not incredibly slow. ### 1/5 — Need serious improvement fast *2018-07-31* Slow interface, needs refreshing when scrolling through the names. Unable to see my caseload only (shows everyone’s). So far not that user friendly. You’d think a company that’s purpose is technology could make a better app. It’s clunky, and lately I cannot even get past the login screen. I have to do a password reset and deactivate my device every time I want to use the thing otherwise I put in my credentials and the app just stalls eventually telling me “A task was cancelled.” This app needs to be fixed asap or scrapped. ### 1/5 — 1000% useless *2024-05-18* BI needs to hire a 3rd grader to update their useless “app”. What is the point of an app if it only leads you to a website that is NOT mobile friendly? Do better. ### 1/5 — Completely useless *2024-02-14* One of the worst apps I’ve ever seen. Can’t even log in because if I push the keyboard it’s stuck in a cycle. A 3rd grader could design something better ### 1/5 — Absolutely Unreliable *2023-11-01* Been using this app for several years and it is garbage. The business itself is great. I have worked with BI since 2009 and they are stellar! However this app is horrible. It keeps crashing at the worst possible times, say getting an alert at 3 am in the morning. A 3rd grader could design something better ### 1/5 — Worse since upgrade *2021-07-08* Nothing but trouble since they ‘upgraded’ services recently. The website was trouble enough, have yet to be able to access via the app on iPhone or iPad so not sure if UI or info is better or worse than before. This data isn’t national security level stuff, consider & prioritize your users’ experience. ### 1/5 — Sign in issues *2021-06-15* Ever since BI got three factor authentication signing into the app to view alerts has been terribly unreliable. The app forces a pop up to an internet login which rarely loads once it takes you back to the app. Closing alerts takes twice as long due to this. Also, there should be a means of silencing non key alerts. I don’t need to see alerts that have been mitigated or paired with another event for closing. It’s been several years of operation and this app still is not functional or user friendly. ### 1/5 — Slow and annoying *2020-11-19* Why do the alerts open on TOMORROWS date? How can it show anklet charging but not have an updated accurate location? How can I be looking at the guy, anklet lights all showing ok and it show TMC since yesterday? Why cant I turn off pursuit mode? Not sure what I dislike the most, the equipment or the App. And make it smaller. Why not a useful watch? Boooo all around. ### 1/5 — Error message when sending messages *2020-11-19* Ever since this latest update I get an error message every time I try to send a message to a tracker. This is the error- The module id 5 is not supported. Then I have to get on my computer and do it. So much for the convenience of using the app at 3am. ## Most praised reviews (5 highest-rated) ### 3/5 — Catch up the times *2019-11-11* Why on earth is this 2019 & I have to enter my username (an entire email address) & password EVERY TIME I want to use this app? There’s facial recognition for every petty app on the iPhone. This app is almost useless if it’s not expedient & it’s tedious. ### 3/5 — Getting Better *2019-04-10* I see some performance improvements with each update, however two-updates-ago the Touch ID feature stopped working. I use an iPhone 8, and I can no longer log in to the “app” using Touch ID. ### 2/5 — Needs Work *2019-02-20* I realize the app is still new - it’s so clunky and difficult to maneuver. Hoping in the coming months there will be updated versions where it runs smoother. Not a fan of having to log in every single time, I can almost, just as fast, go to safari and log in to TA rather than using the app. If the device is secure, it should just work off of my Face ID or quick passcode. ### 2/5 — No update *2018-10-12* Why would you not release the update before you required the update to access the app? Poor planning. Should be able to use Touch ID for opening ### 2/5 — Needs Work *2018-10-10, version 1.6.8* Ridiculous to turn the current version of the app off and require an update before the updated version of the app is even released. Wish you didn’t have to log into the app every single time.
