## What is Totalizer?

The goal for the Totalizer was to make a watch calculator that you'll always enjoy using. It has:
+ Big, easy to hit buttons, while keeping everything you need on a single screen.
+ Running total will update as you type, no need for the "=" button.
+ Perfect button responsiveness.
+ Instant launch time.
+ Full equation preview as you type.
+ Easily accessible "%" button, which I think is the most used feature for an app of this kind (to calculate a tip, a sale, or a price after tax).
+ Percent works as you'd expect it to:
     200+10% = 220
     100-10% = 90
+ Has the secondary layout where the buttons are as big as possible, and the operators can be reached with a button press or a screen swipe.
+ One tap to add parentheses around the equation - just tap the running total number.
+ Complications are available for the quick app launch, and to display the last result.

The above may sound obvious, but it took a lot of thinking, designing, adding, and subtracting to get there, which comes through when you start using it.

This calculate totals as you type, i.e. you type in 3.14157, press X and it gives you the running product as you type.
In practice, it makes spotting typing errors difficult and deleting back is a fiddly affair.
If there’s a clear all or clear last entry function I can’t find it, and I also can’t find a way into the program’s menu on the watch - firmly pressing the screen does nothing.

**Developer response:** Apologies for not replying sooner. Please try the newest 4.1 version of the app, it should correct the context menu problem. In the new app you can press and hold for a bit anywhere on the keypad to display the menu, or press and hold for a bit on the running total number to clear-all. You can also always swipe left to quickly erase the last entry. In the menu you can select the layout that has biggest possible keys, so you can give that a try also.

I just got this after a google search. Wants a calc that had a Apple Watch complication. This does. Little did I know is how fast and easy it is to use. I have tried many different calculator apps and this is the best thought out and easy to use hands down. Great job! Glad I found this.
