A free tarot reading, a free birth chart, your Vedic kundli and the Chinese I Ching, in one app. Credits come in one-time packs, and there is no subscription. Dates and planet positions are astronomy, computed with a named ephemeris: Astronomy Engine 2.1.19 (VSOP87 and ELP). What they mean is interpretation, offered for reflection. TAROT READING • Western tarot: the 78 cards Pamela Colman Smith drew in 1909, with the Celtic Cross and other spreads. • Vedic Nava Mandala: 81 original cards built on the nine planets of Jyotish. • Maya Ceiba: 78 original cards built on the 260-day count of the Maya codices. • A free card pull in each deck every six hours, with no account needed, plus one free spread every six hours. • A card library with the meaning of every Western and Nava Mandala card. The 159 Nava Mandala and Ceiba images were made with AI tools, then checked card by card against the canon sources by the publisher over several months. ASTROLOGY AND BIRTH CHARTS • Your Western natal chart, with houses and aspects. • Your Vedic birth chart (kundli) in the sidereal zodiac, your nakshatra and the daily panchang. • The Sky page: moon phases, retrogrades and eclipses, with eclipse alerts for where you live. • Chaldean numerology from your name and birth date, including your destiny and soul urge numbers. • Compatibility readings for two people. CHINESE I CHING • Cast a hexagram and read a plain takeaway first, with the book's own image and meaning below it. One free cast every six hours. • Your Chinese birth chart, free: Four Pillars and your natal hexagram. • A reading for your year. • A feng shui reading of your home. The I Ching text is a Chinese edition with a preface dated 1591. Its English meanings were written with AI from that edition, and the app says so before your first cast. YOUR LIVING CHART A PDF of about 150 pages, built to order from your birth data. It sets your chart in each tradition side by side, covers your houses, dates the sky events of the next 90 days and includes a Chinese chapter. You buy it once with credits and keep it. FREE TO START, NEVER A SUBSCRIPTION • Many spreads are free, including every Maya spread. • New accounts start with free credits. Daily check-ins and journal reflections earn more. • Credits pay for longer spreads, AI-written readings and the Living Chart. The cost shows before you tap. • Credits come in one-time packs through In-App Purchase. Never a subscription. ALSO INSIDE • A reading journal and your reading history. • Deck manuals for Nava Mandala and Ceiba. • A home screen widget, notifications you control and haptic feedback. Readings are for entertainment and personal reflection. They do not predict events, and they are not medical, legal or financial advice. ## Key features - Western, Vedic, and Maya tarot readings - Free daily tarot pulls and spreads - Western and Vedic birth charts - Chinese I Ching readings and birth chart - Chaldean numerology - Compatibility readings - Customizable Living Chart PDF ## Pricing and in-app purchases Base price: Free. **One-time purchases** | Purchase | Price | Type | | --- | --- | --- | | 300 Credits | $34.99 | one-time | | 60 Credits | $9.99 | one-time | | 150 Credits | $19.99 | one-time | | 20 Credits | $4.99 | one-time | ## Is Totally Tarot safe? Cast a hexagram and read a plain takeaway first, with the book's own words below it. Your first cast is free. You can also see your Chinese birth chart, read your year, and get a feng shui reading for your home. Want more? Go deeper writes an AI interpretation of your cast for 5 credits. New: Friends. Send a link to compare charts. You choose what each friend sees, and your birth date, time and place are never shared. Also in this update: Lock Screen widgets show today's card. Journal patterns show which cards keep coming up for you. The app now comes in Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, German and Traditional Chinese. On a signed-in account, your first credit pack comes with bonus credits. Paid buttons now show the credit cost before you tap. Fresh reflection lines for the cards. Eclipse alerts that know where you live. The Sky page remembers your city. Fixes and small improvements throughout. ### 1.6 — 2026-08-20 Your Living Chart report now includes pictures of the cards you drew, and every dated transit opens with a plain-language line about what it means for you. Credit purchases are more reliable. If a purchase is interrupted, the app now recovers it on the next launch, and Restore Purchases tells you plainly what it found. Also in this release: downloading your report opens it properly so you can save or print it, switching accounts no longer shows the previous account's details, and the app keeps itself up to date on its own. ### 1.5 — 2026-08-11 Thank you for the detailed review. Both issues you raised are fixed in this build, and we found and fixed a third one ourselves while investigating. 1. SIGN IN WITH GOOGLE DID NOT WORK (the issue you reported) You were right, and the cause was on our side. The app is a native wrapper around our web experience, and we were loading Google's web sign-in library inside it. Google deliberately blocks OAuth inside embedded web views: their script returns HTTP 403 to our app's user agent, so the library never loaded and the button could only ever say "loading". It could never have completed a sign-in. We have replaced it with the native, Google-sanctioned flow: ASWebAuthenticationSession with PKCE, which runs in a real browser context rather than an embedded web view. Sign in with Google is working in this build. The button also now refuses to render at all unless the app is actually configured to complete the flow, so the state you saw - a button that could only ever fail - cannot recur. 2. PROMO / REFERRAL CODES ON THE PROFILE SCREEN (guideline 3.1.1) Understood, and removed. Our credits are a digital good, so they must only be unlocked through in-app purchase. The entire "Invite a Friend" section - the code entry field you flagged and the share option that awards credits when a code is redeemed - no longer appears anywhere in the iOS app. Credits in the app are obtainable only through In-App Purchase, or through free daily activity inside the app (a free daily card pull) which involves no codes and no outside purchase path. 3. SIGN IN WITH APPLE WAS ALSO BROKEN - WE FOUND THIS OURSELVES AND FIXED IT While investigating the Google issue we discovered Sign in with Apple was failing too, for a different reason: we were using Apple's web SDK, which requires a pop-up window that our web view does not create. We had not realised this, and we are glad to have caught it before it reached more users. It is now implemented natively with ASAuthorizationAppleIDProvider, with the Sign in with Apple capability properly enabled. 4. PUSH NOTIFICATIONS This build also enables remote (APNs) push, so the daily card reminder and personalised sky/transit alerts the app offers can actually be delivered. Notifications are strictly opt-in: nothing is sent unless the user grants permission, and every category can be turned off individually in the app's Profile screen. No notification is required to use any part of the app. HOW TO SIGN IN WHILE TESTING The quickest path is "Continue as Guest" on the first screen - it needs no credentials and gives immediate access to the full app, including a free card reading. Sign in with Google, Sign in with Apple and email + password all also work; a demo account is provided in the fields above if you prefer one. ABOUT THE APP Totally Tarot is a reflection and journaling app built around tarot and astrology. All readings are presented for entertainment and personal insight only; we make no predictive or factual claims, and a disclaimer is shown before a user's first reading and in the app's footer. Credits are consumable in-app items sold through StoreKit in-app purchase. Thank you again for the review. ### 1.3 — 2026-07-16 A live-sky compass that points to the planets around you, plus refinements throughout. ### 1.2 — 2026-06-12 Updated image and tagline to "Three Traditions, One Source" ## Apps similar to Totally Tarot | App | Rating | Price | Category | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | [Lunar Oracle](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/lunar-oracle/id6756629462) | 3.0 (2) | Free | Lifestyle | | [NORO — Tarot & Astrology](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/noro-tarot-and-astrology/id6768852824) | 5.0 (1) | Free | Lifestyle | | [Glow Moment](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/glow-moment/id6770166423) | — | Free | Lifestyle | | [Quantum Wealth Card Deck](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/quantum-wealth-card-deck/id6759456019) | 5.0 (1) | Free | Lifestyle | | [Pulp: Tarot Journal & Reading](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/pulp-tarot-journal-and-reading/id6808992268) | — | Free | Lifestyle | | [Arcana: The Decider](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/arcana-the-decider/id6782656633) | — | Free | Lifestyle | --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
