It's a little counterintuitive (at least for me) for him to move sides before he chops. This actually has a chance of becoming my all-time-favorite iphone game ever. You have to move the guy to the other side of the totem so you won't get hit in the head. To move him just tap the other side. Also, you have an energy bar that will run out. So watch for that.
