## What is totte?

Asking for a retake feels awkward. Even when someone kindly takes your photo on a trip, it rarely turns out the way you pictured it.

totte connects two iPhones directly over P2P to take a different kind of "someone-else" photo. One becomes the camera, the other your live monitor — the person in the shot checks the framing on their own screen and taps the shutter.

BEFORE YOU BUY A SELFIE MONITOR

No need for a dedicated selfie-monitor gadget. If you have a spare iPhone lying around, that's all it takes. Try the "see while you shoot" experience right away, without buying more gear.

RECONNECTS AUTOMATICALLY IF THE CONNECTION DROPS

"The connection cuts out mid-shoot" is the top complaint with this kind of app, and totte tackles it head-on. It checks the connection every 3 seconds and reconnects automatically the moment it detects a drop, so your shoot doesn't have to stop.

Not a selfie. Not asking someone else. A third option: a photo where you control the frame yourself. Fit the whole two of you in the shot, even when a selfie can't.

GREAT FOR

- Anniversary dinners where you want the restaurant in the shot, too
- Trips where you finally want a full-body photo of the two of you, with the view behind you
- Quiet moments at your favorite cafe — the kind of casual shot that usually gets missed
- Engagement and wedding photo sessions you want to shoot yourselves
- Natural photos of pets and kids from a little distance, without them noticing the phone

KEY FEATURES

- Direct P2P connection between two iPhones (no Wi-Fi network or mobile data needed)
- Ultra-low-latency live preview of the camera feed on the monitor phone
- Reconnects automatically if the connection drops, so your shoot isn't interrupted
- The live feed is just for framing — your photo saves at your device's sensor resolution
- Remote shutter from the monitor, plus volume-button shooting
- Shoot 3, 4, or 6 photos and pick the best shot together
- Tap to focus, zoom, exposure adjustment, grid overlay
- Photos save to your Photos library automatically (you can turn this off after your first shot)
- Hands-free shooting with voice cues or hand gestures
- Built-in gallery to review shots right away

HOW IT WORKS — 3 STEPS

1. Open totte on both iPhones and set one to "Camera," the other to "Viewer"
2. Enter the 4-digit code shown on the Camera phone into the Viewer phone to connect
3. Check the framing on your screen, then tap the shutter

SUPPORTED LANGUAGES

Japanese, English, Korean, Chinese (Simplified / Traditional), Spanish

PRIVACY

totte only uses a direct P2P connection between your two iPhones. Your photos and the live video feed are never sent to any outside server. Photos stay on your iPhone, period.

Crash reports are only sent if you opt in on first launch. You can change your choice anytime from Settings.

No more handing your phone to strangers. No more timer-sprint panic.
With two iPhones, the shot you actually wanted is the shot you get to keep.
