- Capture: tall frames now start at half height automatically instead of filling the screen (turn this off in Settings → Capture defaults).
- Library: group photos by capture year, in addition to month and day.
- Library: group photos by the frame they were shot with; named frames appear as the section title.
- Library: tap a section header to collapse that section into a single row; tap again to expand.

Improvements & Fixes
- Changing the aspect ratio or frame position while shooting no longer overwrites your saved Capture defaults.
- Even with thousands of photos, scrolling stays smooth and memory use is dramatically lower. Scrolling is especially fluid on ProMotion displays. Existing photos may be migrated once on first launch due to improved storage.

### 1.1.1 — 2026-06-24

- Capture now starts at 1.0x (Wide) on iPhones with multiple back lenses, instead of 0.5x (Ultra Wide). Picking a lens manually still opens at that lens's native focal length.
- Frame Studio's camera no longer changes its field of view based on subject distance, so framing stays consistent while you compose a new frame.
- The "half height" frame option is now reflected in the saved photo. Previously the frame was composited at full size even when the preview showed it shrunk.
- Each frame's saved "half height" setting is restored correctly after creating a new frame or deleting the currently selected one in Frame Studio.
- The live preview and the saved photo now match more precisely.
- Frame Studio: if saving an extracted subject fails, the Done button now returns to a normal state with an error message so you can retry.
