### 4/5 — Almost perfect

*2013-07-09, version 1.0*

This app would be perfect if it would say the name of the things making the sound after clicking on the correct picture.

### 4/5 — Great settings

*2013-07-08, version 1.0*

I like the facts that you can adjust a lot of parameters in the settings. For example, I deleted all the good answer souds and recorded my own so I can use it in French.

### 4/5 — Great app!

*2013-03-02, version 1.0*

My granddaughter LOVES this app and she's not even two years old. She is learning so many sounds. She sticks with it too, continuing on to the next screen, the next screen, etc

### 4/5 — Lovely

*2013-01-14, version 1.0*

This is a lovely app that I use when beginning my 'sounds' playgroups in preschools. It has them focused and perceptive to sounds. I wish however, that you could turn off the pictures, and have them try to discover what made the sound.

### 4/5 — A lovely little app

*2012-12-16, version 1.0*

This is pitched at just the right level, and we can keep our little girl (20 mths) occupied on it for ages.

The picture/sounds that aren't immediately obvious are educational, gently stretching her. Just a few pictures are a bit less 'iconic' than they might be, otherwise it'd be 5 stars from us! *****

### 4/5 — My boys love this app

*2012-07-31, version 1.0*

Keeps them thinking. We like that. : )

### 4/5 — Minor adjustments needed

*2012-07-20, version 1.0*

the stimuli are sometimes too difficult, even for adults. (ie, two different types of birds or motorcycles). Would be nice to customize the field and have auto scoring as others have mentioned.

### 4/5 — Nice app

*2012-07-16, version 1.0*

This app has nice pictures and good sounds. I was not sure what my 2.5 yr old would think of it, but was amazed by his listening skills, he knew many more sounds than I expected him to know. He also enjoyed playing it with me. the mouse sound though, does not sound mouse like at all!!

### 4/5 — Great app idea!

*2012-06-13, version 1.0*

Humans rely so much on SEEING but we can learn so much and know so much by also LISTENING. This app gets kids to think about what everyday things sound like.
My one complaint (after one use, my kids still haven't tried it) is that it shouldn't say "you're great!" after a correct answer. Kids shouldn't base their worth on answering something correctly. I thought all the other responses were fine.

### 4/5 — Great for listening skills

*2012-05-26, version 1.0*

Good app. Pictures are wonderful and sounds are very good (except for the ice.). Would have got 5 stars if it recorded a total of correct/incorrect responses.

### 5/5 — Identify

*2012-05-22, version 1.0*

This is a high quality app that is well thought out. I use it for brain training and relaxation. Great distraction for chronic pain.

### 4/5 — Good app

*2012-05-14, version 1.0*

Great app! Good variety of functional and environmental sounds

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — No sound

*2021-04-29, version 2.0*

Don’t buy this app! There is no sound like advertised! Totally disappointed. I also have an iPad.

### 1/5 — No sound!

*2019-12-08, version 2.0*

Disappointed with this app as there is no sound

### 1/5 — None of the sounds work

*2019-08-05, version 2.0*

I have deleted and downloaded several times and the sounds still don’t work. I’ve checked audio levels turned off Bluetooth, tried everything I know to try to make it work. Sound works on all other apps but not this one. Very disappointing

### 1/5 — No fun

*2013-04-11, version 1.0*

Looks fun but there is no sound on my iPad when we try to ay the game so it really is not fun at all.

### 1/5 — BLACK SCREEN, FIX

*2012-07-10, version 1.0*

It only displays a black screen. I touch other places on it and the screen remains black. Please fix!!!!

### 1/5 — Would be nice for my toddler,

*2012-06-03, version 1.0*

But it makes no sounds. I've uninstalled and reinstalled. Doesn't work for whatever reason.

### 1/5 — No sound

*2012-03-20, version 1.0*

This app would be excellent in my kinder classroom, but I can't get it to make a sound! I've uninstalled and reinstalled and no luck. Help!

### 2/5 — Disappointed

*2012-03-18, version 1.0*

Comparing to some other APPs I have, from the same builder, this one is not flexible enough. I can't even select only one category to play. It could be much improved.

### 3/5 — Needs better layout

*2013-09-02, version 1.0*

Needs longer sound bytes.
And a slight border between pictures.

### 3/5 — Wrong Sound For The Monkeys!

*2012-08-15, version 1.0*

I was watching my 2 year old brother play this app and noticed there was a monkey noise. I glanced over and saw the noise it matched was not only not a monkey, but an ape, and it was the wrong sound. The ape depicted, the gibbon, does not make a sound like "ooh ooh ah ah" but "whoop whoop whoop."
Other than that mistake, fantastic app!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great for teaching kids with autism

*2019-01-25, version 2.0*

An awesome, rich resource for systematically assessing receptive language concepts for children with autism. I’m a behavior analyst and I find that children on the spectrum are more likely to respond to instructions presented on the iPad. It would be really cool if the app could log the child’s responses during a session and email it to me afterward, but it’s still excellent. I also love it that you can add your own pictures/sounds.

### 5/5 — Clever!

*2018-03-27, version 2.0*

What a wonderful app! I love the ability that it gives you to customize it and to even add your own concepts! Some of the sounds are not long enough so I just disabled them. The selection of sounds is super! I use this with my preschoolers and it is a big hit with them.

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2013-06-28, version 1.0*

My little one just loves this app! He will just not stop learning on this.

### 5/5 — Great App
