## What is TouchFile?

TouchFile is a clean, focused tool for inspecting and editing file metadata—timestamps, attributes, permissions, and image EXIF.
FEATURES
• Timestamps — Edit creation and modification dates with ease
• Attributes & Permissions — Hidden, Locked (immutable), and POSIX read/write/execute bits
• Photo EXIF — Date taken, camera make & model, lens, software, and GPS; leave a field empty to clear it, or turn off GPS to remove location
• Batch Edit — Apply the same changes to many files at once: set to now, a fixed date, or increment/decrement by interval
• Photo Library (iOS) — Pick photos or videos, edit metadata, then Save to Photos
• Open Files — Edit images in writable locations (Files app, iCloud Drive, On My iPhone, and more); changes write to the original file
• Broad support — Images, video, documents, and folders

TIPS
Photos imported from your library are working copies inside TouchFile. iOS cannot rewrite an album item's embedded EXIF in place, so Save to Photos creates a new library item with your changes; the original stays unchanged. Files opened from a writable location are updated directly. After editing, you can still Save to Photos if you also want a copy in your library.
Simple UI. Metadata only. TouchFile keeps your file info in order.
