It utilizes a combination of spinning controls and a magic point that is used to register your input, thus, making it difficult for people to guess the numbers you entered. TouchyNotes keeps your photos, passwords, website bookmarks, contacts, and notes private and away from curious bodies. The process of adding content, i.e. photos, notes, etc may be a little tedious and require you to paste it all from the clipboard, but I love that TouchyNotes adds a black screen to your photos for further privacy. ### 5/5 — TouchyNotes is my most favorite app *2019-07-21, version 3.6.3* TouchyNotes contains spinning buttons which keeps on rotating even when you press the buttons. The spinning combination makes it difficult to guess or see the password providing more secure feature. To provide more security, you cannot just drag and drop the pictures. You have to copy the data to clipboard and then paste it in the app and further the UI of the app is in dark mode which makes difficult to see the hidden pictures. Don't you think it's amazing? Tapping and revealing pictures just like magic. ### 5/5 — Should be a built-in iPhone feature! *2019-07-20, version 3.6.3* Until there a better built-in way to keep your stuff private on iPhones, you'll probably want to resort to third-party tools such as TouchyNotes. Now you have more secure options for keeping your media private. For instance, the app makes it so you can input your passcode right in front of people without them figuring out the passcode. I agree with other reviewers who say this should be a home screen unlock on iPhone. You can use the SPINT technology or not, depending on your surroundings, so it can be just as fast (but more secure!) as typing in a number or tracing a pattern. I love that the information you have saved in this app is also mostly hidden unless you choose to uncover it, so people around you can't read your entire screen. I happily paid the $.99 for the extra file storage after seeing what this app could do. I will be sharing this with my friends who value their privacy! ### 5/5 — This app should be on every iOS device *2015-08-10, version 1.2.1* I really did not know much about this app until I met the developer and I have to say, this app should be on every single iOS device. The need for quick, local, secure storage came in handy several times. What really struck me was the unique approach to securing this data is really remarkable and really has to be tried: it differs from biometrics and passwords to more of a “gamified” approach that keeps prying eyes from either copying your actions or brute force to guess. Drawbacks, and I understand why: 1. user can only store 21 files. You have to purchase $1 or $2 to increase from 21 to 210 files. I have 128G space in my IP6+ and the app should utilize such space rather purchasing. User should be able to store as many files as possible. 2.
