But recent updates added a force login process to the app, which makes this app complete UNUSABLE at my range with NO NETWORK coverages! Please, at least add an OFFLINE button when the login times out? I’m sure there will be many people using this app in simulator room with poor network and may suffer the same issue. I have utilized Tour Tempo in various forms for decades, long before the advent of this app (In fact I used it this morning while working with a player preparing for the Sr. US Open). This app, with its new features and increased functionality is literally a game changer. Study the included videos and information in the video section before starting for maximum benefit. Only thing I have to focus on is waiting for first tone before I initiate backswing and making sure last tone is on strike of ball. I had a wicked slice and I have been trying everything under the sun to hit the ball straight. I warmed up using the swing tempo and then hit the course. Having a consistent tempo on your swing helps take out all of the variables, and by doing so it corrected my slice and increased my distance. I was struggling a couple years ago and read it for myself. I was happy to see the app and have used it regularly since then. My favorite use was the Frame Counter app which is now part of Tour Tempo. It is so much better than slomo on my cell phone. Nothing can I about the UI and it would be great to have some metrics tracking use over time. Most apps allow you to try them first for a short period before committing to purchase. Within mins, I could see this app was poor but when I tried to have it refunded - computer said no, or Apple that is. Heard about Tour Tempo on the Chasing Scratch pod and downloaded it. It’s simple but man does it work. Way more consistent contact with both the long and short game thanks to the different tones. I tried out a faster tempo than I was used to and immediately gained 4.5mph max clubhead speed. First time ever cracking 110 and I’ve done no other speed work in 6+ months. I don’t normally condone witchcraft, but in this case I’ll allow it. I had been chasing it for a year. I knew it was in range because I have a sim at home, been grinding getting a lot of swings but the course it would break down. My coach said tempo and rhythm are the only things that matter on game day but his “one two hit four five” thing didn’t really lock it in for me. Frees up the swing and does what is advertised. The only (meaningless) qualm I will add, is the creator (and his dad) claiming to invent/find out about tour tempo. I know for a fact Snead taught by waltz time and discussed pros long before him doing it. Waltz’s are in 3/4 (3 beats per measure, takeaway on 1, top of the swing 3, impact 1), and is quite literally this exact same idea long before. Nothing new in golf! Finding the right tempo and focusing on the tones has helped me a lot. After 30 min I noticed that I was making better contact and my footwork was improved. I think it’s because my brain only had to focus on the tones and everything else came naturally.
