TOURATECH Connect is the companion application for TOURATECH Connect Dongle. The combination of app and dongle allows access to a whole world of thrilling new driving data. Show your performance! Every tour tells its own story. Now you can analyze every ride in detail with the new TOURATECH CONNECT app. It provides dozens of interesting informations out of 8 different functional areas. It also helps to keep your eyes on and share your performance as a rider. The hardware gets the information directly from the CanBus, so it is not effected by the limitations of the ODB2 interface. It is attached there, vehicle-specifically, to existing connection plugs via "Plug'n'Play". Special technical knowledge is not required for this. You receive information from the following areas: Engine (gear, speed, ...) Lighting (turn signals, ...) Brakes (brake power units, forces, ...) Switches & levers (states of lever, side stand, ...) Driving dynamics (acceleration, lean angle, ...) Extremes (slide and drift duration) Special functions (gear changes, driving time, rests recommendation, ...) States (tank filling, ...) In total, more than 60 values for the operating state of the motorcycle and the driving dynamics. The parameters of many functions are preset, but can be customized by the user. You can decide yourself which data you want to see, in which size and on which position they are displayed. You can track up to 36 features on your screen at the same time. TOURATECH CONNECT uses "Bluetooth Low Energy" to guarantee long battery life. Another advantage, other features such as telephony or navigation can be used in parallel. TOURATECH CONNECT remains permanently connected to the motorcycle and as long as ignition is on, it continuously delivers information to the rider's cell phone - during the ride and afterwards. Wenn da nicht immer wieder die Verbindungsabrüche wären, wenn ich meine GS abstelle und aus mache . Nach dem neu start der GS ist meistens die Verbindung zur App abgebrochen . Ich habe schon mehrere Varianten ausprobiert, erst Handy aus, dann Motorrad aus oder alles umgekehrt. Es passiert immer wieder, und das kann sehr nervig sein, wenn mit mehreren Leuten Motorrad fährt und die ständig auf einen warten müssen, bis man alles wieder neu gestartet hat . Vielleicht könnte man das Problem endlich mal beheben . ### 1/5 — Very poor *2022-07-31* Very poor is being generous as the app has so many connection issues as to be unusable and the technical help from TOURATECH is nonexistent there policy seems to be just to ignore you so good luck to anyone else who thinks this would be a useful addition to their bike ### 5/5 — Ich bin begeistert aber… *2022-03-29, version 00.09.62* Endlich bekomme ich die Daten was ich möchte, aber leider ist die Darstellung der gefahrenen Tour nicht sonderlich gut… Bei der Schräglage ist die Grapik sehr klein und für mich fast unleserlich.. besser wäre Groß Graphisch dargestellt und mit Klick ins Detail zu gehen… Auch der Gpx Track wird nicht in der Karte angezeigt… Hier wäre noch viel zu tun, aber ich bin mir sicher ihr arbeitet dran… Lg, Achim ### 1/5 — Nur mit Touratech Dongle und BMW Motorrad nutzbar *2021-11-17, version 00.09.60* Leider nur mit Touratech OBD Dongle und BMW nutzbar. Warum nicht auch mit OBD2 Dongles anderer Hersteller und Unterstützung anderer Marken wie Energica oder Yamaha ### 4/5 — Grundsätzlich gut, aber….. *2021-07-28, version 00.09.47* TOURATECH Connect ist grundsätzlich ein schönes Spielzeug. Viele Funktionen bzw. Werte, die man nicht wirklich alle benötigt. Cool ist das Speichern der maximalen Schräglage. Somit bekommt man einen Überblick, was grundsätzlich nicht verkehrt ist. Aber besser fände ich nicht nur den absoluten Schräglagenwinkel anzuzeigen, sondern besser getrennt nach Links- und Rechtskurven. Hat doch jeder seine Lieblingskurve. So könnte man besser erkennen, wo noch Luft ist.
