## What is Toutoui?

L’application a pour mission principale d’améliorer l’accessibilité aux soins pour les sourds et malentendants. 
Sa mise en place se fait dans le contexte de la charte Romain JACOB « Unis pour l’accès à la santé des personnes en situation de handicap » signée en décembre 2016 au plan national et de la signature d'une convention de partenariat « PROGRAMME SOURDS ET SANTE » entre l’ARS et le GIP RASPEG.
Les objectifs de l’application mobile :
Mettre en relation le professionnel de santé, un interprète en Langue des Signes avec le patient
Rompre l’isolement relationnel entre le professionnel de santé et son patient
Garder le caractère confidentiel d’un entretien médical sans avoir recours à son entourage familial
Rendre le patient acteur de sa prise en charge
Réduire les inégalités d’accès aux soins
Lutter contre l’abandon précoce
