tovie helps you keep track of the movies you watch and the ones you plan to watch, without getting in your way.
It’s designed to be fast, private, and personal.

Series now track single episodes, shared list invitations tell you what you are accepting, and searching for a title you do not have yet finally goes somewhere.

• Slide to the episode you are on and Tovie keeps the count. The stats page counts the series you have in progress separately from your films.
• When someone shares a list with you, Tovie shows who is inviting you, which list it is and how many titles it holds, so you can decide before you accept.
• Search for a title you do not have yet and Tovie says so plainly, with a button that opens the add screen already searching for it.
• You can create a new list without leaving the add screen.
• The add button in the tab bar drops the title into the list you were looking at, like the one at the top of the screen.
• The whole app answers to the touch a little more readily.

Tovie now lets you share any list over iCloud. Invite your partner, family, or friends to a list and everyone stays in sync automatically - just like a shared note. Add a film on your phone and it appears for everyone on the list, no exporting or messaging back and forth. Anyone you share with can add to the list, and Shared Lists is part of Tovie Pro.
We also fixed background syncing: your library and shared lists now update over iCloud in the background, so changes from your other devices are already there when you open the app instead of syncing only on launch. Plus, adding a movie while viewing a list now preselects that list.
