I first purchased it on the Playjam GameStick. Unfortunately, it’s the only time I ever had a chance to play it using a controller. I also never beat it and it feels like I may not get that chance. I find it difficult to play on the iPhone or iPad with the onscreen controls and nothing I’ve tried has worked. My fingers are either sliding off the touch area, or I’m putting them in the wrong directions. I have several Bluetooth controllers including the Steelseries Nimbus which is supposed to work natively with iOS devices. My iPad and iPhone will show the controllers as connected and they will work with other games. Just not this one. I know this game is old as dirt, but if there were any updates to it to allow controller support, I would be so happy. I would replay the heck out of it, and get the chance to finish the game. ### 4/5 — (Throws hands up 🙌) *2024-10-21* If you want 1 word to describe this game Exciting Its got different combos to replay-ability is a solid 8/10 The enemies and bosses and fun for the most part some enemies more irritating then others same with bosses but what game hasn't got those enemies that we all hate Worst part of the game? Its between the last area (the red bloody looking area) Or the sub area the mines The last area because it has most of the irritating enemies Or the mines due to the tediousness of finding either the pets? Monsters? Equips? You want Besides that Simply peak 🙌 ### 4/5 — Nice game, terrible controls *2024-06-08* The game is slick and polished really nicely. Narrative and story are hilarious and the variety of weapons is cool. Large map with lots of enemy types too. It’s a really nice game. I’m sure it’s very fun when you get going. The problem is that on a touch screen the controls are just too difficult. There is a setting to change to “floating” which should be the default - do this immediately when you start and it’ll be more similar to every other game in the genre. The directional shooting is too hard and feels “random” sometimes. You have to pull the shoot button right to the end of the rail to get it to shoot in a certain direction which is annoying. And finally the game requires you to be extremely accurate (ie if you miss your shot by a couple of pixels it won’t land). So the precision of controls are actually really important. Una volta presa confidenza con i controlli e le semplici dinamiche di gioco tutto fila liscio e senza intoppi, ecco forse un pochino troppo liscio. Quello che voglio dire e che una volta trovati i “proiettili giusti” (di solito nelle grotte) il nostro personaggio sarà tremendamente OP e finire dunque le tre zone di gioco sarà abbastanza semplice. La mia in ogni caso vuole essere solo una critica costruttiva dato che ho apprezzato molto il gioco e speravo in una longevità di trama più lunga. But it gets easier once you gather some decent jectiles and augments. Have had lots of fun playing this. But me saying this that the graphics aren’t that good might feel like a slap in the face to the people who made this so sorry but I have to say it that the graphics need a bit of tweaking.
