I also like the graphics a lot and the modern feel is done nicely. Cool towers too. Even if The content is a bit lacking though. There’s no bonus challenges or infinite mode. In fact, it feels like as soon as you get a really sweet setup the level ends so you don’t get to enjoy the sweet killbox you’ve made. The minigun tower is essentially useless. Needs a significant buff. The biggest problem with this game is that the toxic tower, a PAID tower that is arguably the best in the game, causes the app to crash intermittently. It’s very frustrating. Other than the issues I’ve noted it really is a good game. ### 3/5 — No chance to obtain 5 stars per round! *2023-01-08, version 1.0.0* It is great game but unfortunately even though You do not lose any life in each of 10 available rounds You can obtain only 3 of 5 stars (in total 30 out of 45). To enter round 11 You need to have 45 stars in total otherwise You have to pay next (11th) round. So it doesn't matter if You pass all rounds sucessfully, You have to pay to enter round 11 no matter what. Very dissapointing ### 3/5 — Great Game if it didn’t CRASH *2022-03-15, version 1.0.0* Love this game but it keeps crashing. The funny thing is most people would get frustrated that you’re halfway through thE level and it crashes that they wouldn’t play again. I continually replay the level despite the constant crashing. For reference this appears to be happening more on my iPad than the iPhone. Been playing this for awhile but seems to crash mid-game, intermittently. Tried reinstalling, closing all other apps prior, but still intermittently crashes. When it doesn’t crash, it’s extremely addictive. Seems to crash periodically when using Toxic Dispenser, but some games when using it, it’ll play on through to the end. I’ve played all of the maps and completed about 16 on Hard difficulty, having unlocked all of the towers. Not doing so may prove difficult, if not, impossible when trying to play the maps on Hard difficulty. Out of the entire batch of TD games for the iPhone, this perhaps is the one I’m always playing despite it’s shortcomings - mainly the intermittent crashes. The look & feel of this game versus others is more realistic, not cartoonish. The towers, again - once unlocked, seem to be well-balanced; although, for the 4-maps I haven’t yet beaten in Hard difficulty may require more experimenting with tower selection and making the right upgrades at the right time. Overall, a great game... just wish it wouldn’t crash intermittently. However, still recommend this game. Hope to see a sequel to this game with more maps and towers. Note: I would suggest placing the Sell option for towers someplace else as it can be erroneously tapped in the heat of gameplay when selecting Hellfire mode for a tower. ### 2/5 — The difficulty is blown way too extreme *2020-06-18, version 1.0.0* It’s obvious the developers made this game get progressively difficult to unreasonable levels at early stages specifically to get you to buy the add on’s. Personally, it’s ruined the game for me. I’ve been stuck on I think level 6 for lord knows how long. I can kill every enemy, up until the boss. The boss is unreasonably over powered and tanks all the damage you throw at it, ultimately defeating you despite having a ridiculously strong line of towers that kept you alive for 20 waves, just to end up restarting. Mind you, I have no issue with games being hard. How ever, I had it set to easy mode. Sure, I bet there’s a way to beat it as I see people in the reviews at various levels, but really? On easy mode you just toss super tanky enemies in the last two waves to end you? There’s like no build up to it. It’s like fighting roaches, then fighting a snake, then fighting a tank. The difficulty takes huge leaps and can quickly leave you in the dust if you don’t keep up and get towers up and upgraded. Anyways, I would have rated this 5 stars if I could actually experience the game cause when it’s fun it’s fun, but unfortunately like most games, there’s a huge incentive to pay to win rather than a reasonable grind to win. This one feels like I need to spend weeks mastering its levels to get through. I just don’t have the time for it. Oh well. ### 4/5 — Awesome game, very strategically challenging *2020-04-12, version 1.0.0* This game is very difficult from the start, as if it is testing how intelligent one can be in directing attacks and placing defenses. I love the graphics, giving a World War II vibe, very sophisticated and aesthetically pleasing. I figure that you do not have to purchase any additional weapons to beat the game, besides the in-app purchase button is broken. I would advice the developer to provide more information by disclosing how many stars you need to unlock a region and fix the purchase bugs. It’s impossible to get 100 stars and I got 85. Been stuck on lvl 6 for a week. “Boss” has no health bar and impossible to kill. I’ve tried far too many strategies to continue trying with this game. Suggest the developers tell us what/if/how many bosses will be in each level and what wave they come. It would really help the strategy. ***Update*** lvl 6 boss health bar is hidden behind. It’s bearable but tough. I attempted to buy a thing from their store in charge me $12 and as far as I can tell it didn’t give me anything. This will give you an advantage of at least being able to win each round or at least one round at a time. You don’t get enough cash from destroying enemies. Multiple enemies sent at once. But since you don’t have money or not strong enough. You loose. In my thoughts this has got to be one of the worst tower defense games I have played. I have downloaded just about every tower defense game there is. An this one is one of the hardest. An by that I mean. Not enough money. Guns cost too much. Too much to upgrade. Enemies grow in strength but no way to upgrade weapons. Not good if you don’t like stress. ### 1/5 — THIS GAME IS TRASH *2019-06-01, version 1.0.0* When you start it doesn’t give you any information or any indicators as to what types of towers you’re using, so level one is a guessing game from the beginning. Then once you start to learn them, you realize you can’t get past level one, it’s so unreasonably hard. I tried using a variety of each tower, a lot of powerful towers, and using smaller towers that are less powerful, and no combinations seem to work. After the second wave a few get through, then several, and then the game is pretty much over. I play a ton of tower defense games and have beat games like defense grid two on expert and this was just way too difficult. ### 1/5 — Confused *2019-03-31, version 1.0.0* Confused if you want people to delete the game? I’ve spent 3 days trying to beat level 1 on easy and have lined the route with level 2/3 towers but that last guy seems to be able to get past ALL towers on hellfire and nuclear blasts? Like lines the whole route with every kind of weapon and the last guy still has about 1/4 of his health? So if you can’t get past level 1 in 3 days then what’s the point right? Unless I’m missing something this isn’t worth my time. ### 1/5 — Developers cheating to force pay2win *2019-01-13, version 1.0.0* I have noticed that in stages past mission 5 nightmare is intended to be IMPOSSIBLE to 5 star. Without the towers purchased via real money the difficulty skyrocket to unreasonable levels. Despite this I was able to finally come up with strategies for missions 6, 7, & 8 to stop any enemy from surviving and the boss. HOWEVER!! Developers added a cheat where free players automatically lose two lives after the boss dies resulting in a score of 18/20 even if you stopped every enemy. I tested multiple times on each stage and it always occurred despite no enemy mistakenly getting through. I am disappointed... This ruined the fun for me because my efforts are guaranteed to go unrewarded. ### 1/5 — Stopped at level 11 *2019-01-05, version 1.0.0* This WAS a great game. The developer must have went out of business or bankrupt. The game was great with good graphics and even pretty good music for a game. But once you hit level 11 you can’t get any further even if you want to pay the $2.99 to proceed. You click the button to pay the $2.99 and nothing happens. This game is actually fun to play at first. The levels are fun to try and figure out how to beat them once you figure out which weapons do what. The problem is after playing lvl 10, if you don’t pay $$...well you are done playing the game as it requires you to pay to unlock the rest of the levels. Like seriously...hopefully the creators read this and look at the successful game out there for strategy on retention rate. Horrible business strategy to get someone to enjoy the game then force them to pay to keep playing. I usually spend money on games but this way will never get my money. How about you make some EXTRA levels to unlock that cost money and create a couple crazy weapons for purchase. I suggest taking some effort to see what successful app makers do and do the same thing. Hopefully the creators go play a supercell game or another successful company and take some advise. I like the way the towers have been designed. There’s a tiny airplane on the ones that can shoot air baddies. When it is capable of launching into Hell fire mode a circle at the base of each tower changes color. And the towers get Sgt. Stripes and more as you upgrade. It’s very easy to scan the battlefield and assess your status. The game looks beautiful, sounds great (though I wish there were a volume control. I’d like to keep the music but not so loud as to drown out effects). For the developer the game would occasionally crash, exiting out suddenly. I turned off my iPad and rebooted it.
