I missed this game I’ve been trying to find it on Apple Arcade. Couldn’t find it but so happy to be able to purchase the game with no subscription needed. One of the best mobile games. I believe RPG! I get into for hours forgetting where I’m at

I really loved this on Apple Arcade but after having not played for a while I come back to apparently user generated dungeons that use up health potions before you even enter. Only two available dungeons and it only lets you choose the harder one. If you had more variety of dungeons and maybe the opportunity to run old ones or more forgiving  ones as a way to grind and level up, I’d go back to what was a pretty good game. As it is I regret buying it.

Towers of Everland était au préalable sur Apple Arcade, où il a reçu pas mal de mises à jours introduisant de nouvelles mécaniques de jeu, de nouveaux ennemis et donc de nouvelles tours. La version proposée ici est ainsi la plus aboutie du jeu et vaut très largement son prix.

Towers of Everland est un dungeon crawler construit autour d’un ensemble de tours générées de façon procédurale et qu’il faut gravir jusqu’au dernier étage afin de compléter le niveau. Sur votre chemin, pas mal de défis vous attendent : ennemis, pièges, portails, malédictions, zones secrètes…  Si au début la dimension technique du jeu n’est pas évidente, au fur et à mesure que vous augmentez de niveau et commencez à vous aventurer dans les tours plus difficiles, les choses se gâtent et il faudra faire preuve de stratégie et parfois de pal mal de skill pour traverser les multiples étages des tours, certes assez répétitifs. Si le jeu n’est pas révolutionnaire, il est bien aboutie, fluide et possède pas mal de contenu et une grande rejouabilité pour un jeu mobile (différentes classes offrent des approches de jeu assez variées). S’il fallait le comparer à un autre jeu, ce serait sans aucun doute Blades, qu’il surpasse à mon sens en tout points. Faites juste un peu confiance au jeu, laissez lui le temps d’installer son gameplay et ses challenges et vous ne serez pas déçus. Un super jeu pour les transports !

I have played probably 8-10 hours, which was definitely very fun. However, have lost the excitement playing. I feel that it becomes a grind after you reach this level and I don’t really have anything to grind for. I wish there was a real story and bosses that you would have to defeat to get unique items.

Nonetheless an absolute blast to play in the early game. Definitely worth the money and props to the devs for making it so consumer friendly. No microtransactions, no ads, you pay for a really fun game and it’s what you get.
