I have to delete the page and re install in order for updated stories. It’s getting very frustrating. I know it’s not my iPad because it’s a new one. Please fix asap!!! ### 3/5 — VIP access *2022-02-15, version 1.8* As a VIP member of Townhall, I like to access that content. However, neither the iPhone app (iPhone 11 Pro) nor the iPad app (12.9 iPad 5th generation) allows me to log in to my VIP account. Even if I try to access that content by trying to in through a browser instead of through the app, I am unable to log in. ### 3/5 — too small *2021-01-20, version 1.4* I have a 9 inch iPad and this thing only takes up the space of a cell phone in the middle ### 2/5 — Excellent Informative News *2020-11-10, version 1.4* Townhall will now be my go to place for the latest controversial news. It is defiantly very informative with it knowledgeable staff writers6. The only problem is they need basic programmers to reformat application compatibility’s for noble devices. It is much easier to read articles from standard website on a traditional computer or laptop, but not their iPad or iPhone application. I see Townhall is still running on 1.0 version. ### 2/5 — Can’t login with my google account *2020-08-21, version 1.4* Absolutely love the website but when I try to logon through the comments section it could not use my Google account or my Twitter account to establish my login. If you were able to fix this error this website would be perfect. ### 2/5 — Page Two *2020-04-13, version 1.4* I have an iPad. The first page is great. Then I tap on a story The second page is too large for the screen. I have to school to the right to get the end of a sentence. Back and forth. Yuck. ### 3/5 — What’s with the HUGE, magnified type-set *2019-12-08, version 1.4* Have been a reader for years via on-line TH website. Downloaded the app recently to my iPadPro & iPhone. App works fine on iPhone; on iPadPro the print is not scaled to the device, nor with any utility function to shrink/rescale. It is so huge that you are constantly having to utilize vertical and horizontal slider bars just to read an article/commentary. ### 2/5 — Cartoons? *2019-02-10, version 1.4* The desktop web site has links to cartoons. This app has no menu for cartoons that I can find. This forces me away from the app and to a desktop and a browser. Maybe there’s an explanation but I don’t use the app that often because is lacks other features of the website. ### 2/5 — Too many ads *2018-12-28, version 1.4* Downloaded this app and liked the content, but the ads are constant and you can’t even finish an article without being frustrated with the format. I gave it a week of reading and just deleted it this morning. A shame, but greed ruins the original intent of untainted news. I downloaded the app hoping for a more convenient listening option. Seems fair (not blindly for Trump - some good hit pieces on him as well as on the left). But for Pete's sake, could someone please edit the articles before they are published? Nearly every article regardless of the author (and that is no exaggeration) either has grammatical errors, misuse of wording, or misspelled words. One would think they would want to put their best face on their work... ### 2/5 — Annoying Advertisements *2016-06-13, version 1.2* I really "used" to enjoy the site however after putting up with the constant pop-ups and "dazzling" ways of pushing advertising in front of your face, I gave up and went back to the dot com site. I just want to read the news without slot machine noisy game ads pop up. Very distracting especially in a waiting room. I also thought creating a log in would help. Not so. It kept asking me to log in so I figured I needed a new password. Nope password reset did not work. I deleted this crappy app. ### 1/5 — Freezes up all the time *2019-10-10, version 1.4* Ever since I upgraded to IOS9 the app freezes up all of the time. Cannot use it all. No problems before IOS9 Title: All messed up IOS. 13.1.2. is all messed up. The article supporting the headlines is all out of proportion. Can only become close to readable in landscape, and then it is too large of a font to read. I always use the vertical, but cannot see but a few words. Virtually not usable. The wheel just spins and spins and spins some more. I have shut off and turned on my phone...and it spins. I have eliminated and reloaded the app...and it spins. For about the last 3 days it will open, but you couldn't open any of the articles. Quite a few times, trying to open the lead/top story & only the story below would open. I love the website & content, just wish it was easier to access on the app/phone. Update: sometimes you listen & get the app to work, most times not. I still hold out hope for this site.... When are we going to be able to view & add to comments on the articles? Update: again crashing when opening app. Can't even view an article. I'm convinced you don't really want mobile readers. I have zero time to read on a computer. I loved it even though I could never get the "all columnists " section to work. For a couple of months now it crashes whenever I try to open an article or column. I enjoy reading articles and commentaries on this app. What I don't enjoy is that certain commentators writings cause the app to crash. Consistently. There are several writers that no matter when you click on their article (new one, old one, doesn't matter), the whole app crashes. If an article gets removed from the website it sometimes still appears on the app and just gives an error message. Content-wise, a good app for those interested in politically conservative commentary. Technical-wise, needs work. ### 1/5 — Crash and freeze *2016-05-03, version 1.2* Unreliable app Crashes a lot . Click in a link to a main story the app often fails to open the story. Instead there is either a full page as you are forced to view for a period of time or a horizontal bar displays which essentially makes app and stories useless. I read that it crashed for a lot of people in the reviews but I haven’t had this experience. I would suggest adding a search bar so myself and others can search for our favourite columnists and/or revisit articles. I also would like to see that when I click on the columnist section that I get a list of the actual writers rather than simply a bunch of articles like a repeat of the home page. I’d like to read the writer bios and see their articles in one spot.
