Is there a way to fix this? ### 4/5 — Better before you buy *2026-08-01, version 1.6.1* This game seems like it should be interesting, but what you discover when you pay to unlock longer games is that the tribute thresholds are based almost entirely on your production output. So however well you are doing makes no difference once the game rescales the numbers on the next tribute, in fact it just gives you less tolerance for bad luck. Game feels completely pointless when you realize your build, your luck, and your strategy (or lack thereof), has no effect on the outcome. ### 4/5 — Super Spiel aber ausbaufähig *2026-07-29* Ich liebe das Spiel und dass immer neue puzzles etc. eingebaut werden. Loved playing the free section of the game(the TUTORIAL.) before learning that you have to spend nine American dollars to unlock the full experience. The funny part is that it doesn’t even do that for you, you just get the “campaign” and other things are still locked behind paywalls. For a fairly simple and non challenging mobile game that is just beyond asinine. ### 5/5 — Wicked *2026-07-02, version 1.6.1* Get this game! Perfect little sim builder and exploration! My absolute favorite little cute game that still makes me use a little of my brain and is just SO satisfying. Love Aldric, the little Jawa-like game logo guy. His little beep-boop voice makes me laugh and the tutorial for the game (which Aldric facilitates) has been super helpful and, again, satisfying. After many updates, I paid for the game… against my better judgement and my own review. The unlocked version is the same horrible mess. The only way to have fun is to create a custom game and shut off everything that makes it suck. Then, you are just playing a bad sim game. Surely, there can be a balance between ridiculously easy and game wrecking devastation via all the random events. Original review: I’ve resisted uninstalling this game for a while. I really want to like it. I even want to find a reason to buy the full game. Unfortunately, every skirmish I play in the free version starts with impossible terrain options, extreme events, and then a tribute in 10 turns that there is no way to pay. I’ve completed the tutorials and understand the strategy. I am fully onboard to accept a challenge. However, repeatedly starting new games just trying to get a favorable seed so I can hope to win a single game has finally gotten too frustrating to continue. I can’t pay for a game hoping that it will magically make the game playable. Or that the unlocked campaign will be any different than the frustrating skirmish experience.
