It offers a free trial before charging a monthly subscription, so I decided to give it a chance. Within minutes of installing it, I received a notification about a vehicle supposedly needing a tow. I drove there immediately, and there was nothing. I decided to give it one more chance when another notification appeared in a different location. I drove there as well, and once again, there was no disabled vehicle. By the end of it, I had wasted valuable time for absolutely nothing. From my experience, it seems the app is simply using traffic data from services like Google Maps or Waze, where a vehicle stopped on the shoulder doesn’t necessarily mean it needs a tow. Someone could have stopped to make a phone call, check directions, or grab something from their car and leave a minute later. That is not a legitimate towing lead. As towing companies, our time is valuable. We can’t afford to chase false alerts all day. Unless this app can verify that a vehicle actually needs roadside assistance or a tow, I cannot recommend paying for the subscription.
