Toyota Support claims they do not support the app anymore and now BMW supports it. I called BMW Assist and they told me Toyota supports it, not BMW. This app corrupts the iPhone OS every few months and it’s a hassle with Apple every time to get my iPhone working properly again. Toyota support at best is highly deceptive and time wasting. If you are at least of normal intelligence you should stay away from filth like this app. I finally got Toyota to support Supra Connect and they will only email me in 5 days with a support ticket to start the support process. It’s Friday and the weekend doesn’t count because they are closed so it will be a week until they might email me - that’s 7 freakin’ days. So far I have less than five instances where the remote command has executed properly. And every one of these instances has been after an iDrive reset in the car. You can also lock and unlock the car remotely. Great for if you forgot the key since your house or office, you can just unlock on your phone. My favorite feature is being able to locate the car at any time. To make sure service techs or anyone else isn’t taking you car for a joy ride. Toyota doesn’t owe anyone any of these features, so it’s a nice to have. ### 4/5 — 😐 *2021-07-30* Previous design of app was nicer. Controls take long to activate if when the signal goes through.
