I put my email and doesn’t send me anything. Well that was a waste of money. ### 1/5 — DONT UPDATE TO NEW SOFTWARE *2026-08-12, version 4.15.19* I recently was prompted with the simple message that my router is in need of an update 1 hour after Ide already had it with the fact my internet decided it’d just go out and shut off on its own- mind you this took weeks to finally get it to works at least in terms of full power and speed. as I’d assumed normal, tether ask for an update. So as usual I update and move on, come to find out your new security measures added towards making the app a more “reliable” and “safe” choice has only brung me slower download and upload speeds and the only choice of action is buy a new router or manually downgrade my router back to the old software. Through a usb stick and flash it over from a Computer. I really don’t believer this is okay as I didint ask for this and since the update was a requirement instead of it being an option and them leaving my internet the way it was I was rather instead given a whole new layout on my app I never asked for and a reset of my specific router settings i took weeks figuring out. It worked at first, but after updates it completely stopped sending those notifications. I’ve spent way too much time digging through the settings trying to figure out if something changed, but nothing fixes it. When you’re paying a premium for a security suite, basic security alerts should work consistently. If a feature silently stops working after an update, that defeats the whole purpose of paying for the service. It’s frustrating to pay an annual subscription for features that become unreliable with no clear explanation or easy way to restore them.
