Both methods of access hang during numerous advert breaks and you have to start the whole sordid business again. TPTV are now inviting viewers to subscribe at £4.99 per month. They would have to vastly increase their content to justify this, adverts or not. They should also sort out programming issues during advert breaks. ### 1/5 — Freezes *2025-01-16, version 1.0* I am almost inclined to delete this app, as it repeatedly freezes, very frustrating, needs more development ### 2/5 — Good Content problematic streaming *2024-12-19* App needs a little more development. The app freezes when the adverts start and during the advert, sometimes you have to close the app down and start viewing the programme again from the beginning. Finally I don’t need a TV signal to watch. Great start but please offer following options going forward: 1 Subscription to bypass adverts - monthly, yearly and lifetime. 2 Ability to download content when no signal or WiFi to stream. 3 Ability to watch the TV channel live as opposed to just catch up previous content. 4 Picture in Picture so I can do other work whilst watching or listening in the background. This means that I’m unable to do other things on my device whilst watching / listening content. I must add that the online version is also problematic. The interface is clean and easy to navigate, making it simple to find everything I want to watch without digging through endless menus. The streaming quality is superb—videos load quickly with minimal buffering, even on a slower internet connection. I also love the variety of content, ranging from classic TV shows to newly discovered gems, which keeps me coming back for more. Application seems to work well so far. ### 3/5 — I’m offended *2025-03-17, version 1.0* I’ve not used the app much but I have an issue with the “warnings” about outdated attitudes and language which may offend viewers. I’m offended by these warnings. It’s rare these days for a modern film or TV programme not to contain gratuitous swearing and nudity etc yet we are being warned of a few mild expletives. Unfortunately, it gets stuck on adverts (1 of 5!), so while the audio is related to the film you've chosen, the visual remains with the advert. I might try subscribing to see if its any better. It freezes during the ads, then it goes back to the beginning which means manually scrolling back through as there is no ‘continue watching’ function.
