And if you can add the option to choose the number you want to send a text message from rather than having to pick from the predetermined options it would get 5 stars fosho. ### 4/5 — Listening to me? *2020-04-16* I thank the developers for the response and I have upgraded my rating from 1 star to 4. The app works. You get up to 2 minutes free calling per day. Below is my original review in case it seems relevant to you: After I installed this app I started getting ads that related to things I talked about. Weird things. Things that I never get ads for and that I only recently had conversations about. I suspect this new app which I found has access to my microphone in my privacy settings was eavesdropping on me. I would love for the developer to definitively refute this. Does your app send things I’ve talked about to marketers? **Developer response:** Our app has no tracking for ads and does not display ads. The microphone access is because you need to talk when placing a call. ### 4/5 — Almost Awesome *2019-02-04* So I do love this app! I don’t care about the voice chamber part at all. I love that it records the convo and that it actually mask your number as another (for prank purposes of course). However, I will admit I use it more to track my kids down when they don’t want to answer my calls. I simply put one of their friends numbers in and wahhlaaa! The down side to this app is it says you get 2 free calls a day-not true! It also will not let me purchase any credits. Hopefully they fix these issues soon. ### 4/5 — Voice Changer doesn’t work *2018-12-17* If your wanting to buy credits for the voice changer “Don’t”. The voice changer doesn’t work and it hasn’t for months. That’s the whole reason I I bought the minutes. My friends new it was me the whole time messing with them. It was because it was my actual voice. What a waste. And they won’t even refund my 2 purchases. If I would of knew the voice changer didn’t work I wouldn’t have bought it . This app is supposed to disguise the number and then call whoever you want to call. What I didn’t expect was to get a phone call from the person I was calling when I’m supposed to have anonymity which is what you’re paying for on this site?! The whole purpose is to keep your number, private, to have the person you’re calling call you right back, because your real phone number is leaked?! That never happened with SpoofCard, however, now you can’t pick your own phone number anymore, and apparently you can’t make calls at all because the person called you right back, your number is exposed right away??? What kind of crap is that? ### 1/5 — Beware if you purchase credits they might not show up *2021-05-21* I thought this app might be helpful, but after the free test I purchased credits and was never credited in my account. The company responded and claimed a software update happened the day after my purchase two weeks ago. I received an email claiming Apple was looking for the missing purchase they had no record of. Oddly it’s right there in my Apple profile, so the idea Apple is taking a week to respond and the company didn’t credit me or do anything for my inconvenience , I feel this shows the level of customer satisfaction they find acceptable. **Developer response:** Dear User, Please contact us at hello@fakecallerid.io We would love to look into this issue and resolve it for you. ### 1/5 — Honestly so disappointing. *2021-04-04, version 3.4.4* I was planning to prank my friends, but my phone number isn’t working for some reason (and yes, I called my carrier so it’ll be a couple days before they fix it) so I logged in with my Google account. Needless to say, my cellular data also doesn’t work (dang it again!), so I was on three bars of Wi-Fi. I log in and I’m super excited, then it says I have no connection. If the developers are reading this, you are stealing and maliciously using our information from our Google accounts, and that is unfair as we all hate getting spam emails and such. It is also against Apple’s terms of service for application developers, as well as the U.S. (and idk about Canada) laws. You are breaking the law with this app, and please don’t tell me to contact support. I read the 5-star review and it’s definitely from a bot as I tried this app on three different devices with three different Google accounts. Very disappointing, and no, developers, I’m not going to contact support so don’t ask. Other users have been very frustrated with the app’s support, and so I will not be contacting them. It’s also against Apple TOS to create illicit 5-star reviews on alternate Apple IDs. I do not recommend this app at all. **Developer response:** I am sorry to hear you were having issues. I purchased time twice because I thought something was wrong. When I tried to use it, it kept saying “ out of free minutes” and would cut my calls. ( I was trying it out to mask my number from a client) ...at any rate, I emailed customer service and asked for a refund for just 1 of the purchases. They asked me for a receipt and I sent two screenshots of the receipts. They me an email saying they fixed their app so I didn’t qualify for a refund. We'd love to hear more about this issue in order to assist you. ### 1/5 — Waste of time and money stealer! 🤬 *2020-10-06* Okay, when I downloaded this app I thought it would be just like any other fake call/text app. But when I connected my google account, it said “no network connection.” But my internet had a full bar and it was connected. Hear me out people! This app is a SCAM. It takes money and steals info off the website. So I warn you, before you download this app, READ THIS FIRST. Because this is UNBELIEVABLE! Be careful and read reviews before buying things like this! Be safe on the internet kids! And also, developer, you cannot deny this anymore. You have been caught. So don’t try to write: “we are so sorry about this and we will try to fix it” blah blah blah, etc. DONT DOWNLOAD THIS! It will steal your info off the app! Another time it crashed and took 6 credits again without even making a call out! I talked to their so called support and the person just kept telling me how it takes two credits to make a phone call and I kept telling that person yeah well if you actually make a phone call and not take 13 credits or six but she just continued to act stupid and never did anything about the problem, so I still sat there with no credit and no money in my bank account for something I paid for and no help on the matter either so it was awesome buyer beware! **Developer response:** Dear User, Could you please contact us via hello@fakecallerid.io? We'd love to hear more about this issue in order to assist you. ### 1/5 — Liars! *2019-07-20, version 3.4.3* The “No Service” issue with this app freezing your network and not being able to make calls has not subsided. It has actually gotten worse. I’m actually going to be submitting a full grievance complaint to the compliance department over at Apple/App Store. This issue is life threatening in the way that a person could be in danger; could have a stalker, killer or a rapist in pursuit of them and would not be able to call for help due to the fact that this app indefinitely freezes your phone on the account of it telling you that you need to update your phone with a fake update!!!! I go into my general opts and there is no update needed besides I keep my phone on auto-update anyways and preset it to overnight update. One thing is for sure, the jive-turkey creators of this app are up to something sneaky. They are either random hackers seeking to hack your personal confidential information for reasons to steal from you and know all your personal secrets or this is some sort of federal government app that is again doing something that also invades and defies everything that is humanly ethical. It will be very helpful for us to investigate and fix it. ### 2/5 — Can’t export a recording *2019-09-13* Buying credits is really the only part of this app that works. I tried a few test calls with friends; nobody was willing to say the call quality was great, but nobody said it sucked either. When I went to make a longer call I started getting small glitches every few seconds, not great but still usable... same glitches when I play back the recording. Figuring I would clean it up after exporting the audio... there is no way to export it to a file! Contact tech support; they assure me it should be hidden behind a long-swipe on the recording, I let them know it’s not, they promise to get it fixed. Waited... no fix, tried to save the recording off using a digital audio recorder and a cable. It took me 7 tries to get the whole 15 minute clip; playback stops when the phone locks or sleeps. So you have to turn auto-lock off AND tap random parts of the screen to keep it awake (even when plugged in) while it’s playing back. You can’t actually scrub the recording, so each try is from the start. In the end, I’m just glad I didn’t buy more than the $10 minimum. **Developer response:** We apologize for this experience. Thank you. ### 3/5 — Potential to be better *2021-03-05* It would be nice to hear your voice changed in play back mode. Also suppose to get 2 free calls every 24 hours but doesn’t always do that. And when you purchase time it doesn’t actually show up unless you email them and prove you bought them. So some stuff is a hassle when it’s really not suppose to be. Fix these things and work on play back mode I’d give this app at 5. But fix the bugs and this really is an enjoyable app and really fun . **Developer response:** Thank you for the review!!! ### 4/5 — Great service ❤️ *2023-08-22* Watched this guru on TV being interviewed about how easily it is for our phones to get hacked without being noticed that it has been tampered with so I had to listen attentively to the conversation between him and the interviewer. During the interview the man demonstrated and hacked the interviewer’s phone and was in full control of it and I was reall shocked with what he was doing and how unbelievable it was, after the show, I quickly went online to search for him and luckily I found him. I explained my whole situationke to him and how my husband was behaving and also how he changed password to his phone, the Hacker asked for my husband’s number with some other details which I gave to him for the job. He proceeded with his job, within two hours I was in full control with my husband’s phone, I mean I was seeing everything he does from his phone on my phone, I even got both his recently and newly deleted messages back. Infidelity is a sin, if you need to check the identity, loyalty or faithfulness of anyone or whoever you’re involved with I would also advice you to reach outs to this man right away. Artificial Intelligence, or aka, AI. Is called Artificial for a purpose! the theory and development of computer systems able to perform tasks that normally require human intelligence, such as visual perception, speech recognition, decision-making, and translation between languages. Which means, when the computer comes to a common sense problem, that requires, God given human intelligence for correction, what is really the agenda behind it? To get us to stop using our ability to process, think, and fix the problem, or to keep us in a state of dought, and to ultimately get us to shut our minds of with the manipulation of fear! ### 5/5 — Just get the credits *2022-08-06* This app is amazing. My job will not answer the phone to me. They will not answer blocked calls either. So, I put in the name and phone number to our corporate office. Works every time ! They stupidly asks oh your number shows up “different” ? I just idk what your talking about. Oh and just buy the credits . The app does what it says it will do. I did have to contact Customer Service initially because I only had a few numbers to spoof with. After I did that now I have unlimited numbers to spoof calls. They fixed it within hours. I love this app. ### 5/5 — Great App, incredibly useful, highly recommended. *2021-11-23, version 3.4.7* This app is worth its weight in gold. I highly recommend to anyone looking for the caller ID (spoof) feature. The best implementation would be to apply the same (spoof) feature via SMS protocol. Sadly, this is illegal in the United States as it has the potential to cause much mayhem and the aggravating factors outweigh the benefits in terms of quality of life. That said, another great feature this app has aside from the caller ID spoof and ability to record and share entire conversations, are frail in comparison to the feature that allows you to make a phone call that goes straight to the receiving caller’s voicemail, thus their phone does not ring, but leaves a missed call as if it did. I don’t have enough room to list the benefits of this. If I could suggest one feature that this app is missing, it is the ability to have your - already connected - Bluetooth input and output be used for making calls. It should be appended to the selection options that is currently the default speaker or speakerphone . Thanks again to the Dev or Dev team behind this app! You are appreciated! ### 5/5 — Spoke too soon. *2021-05-26* For some reason temporarily I could not choose the call from Number. This upset me and I wrote a negative review. And also sent an email to Support. The situation changed and now I have full use of the application just like I did before. Not sure if my email had anything to do with it but I’m back up to five stars. I’m just like a big kid, I like to prank people while I’m sitting right in front of them. And now I can do that again. Apparently Apple doesn’t wants to charge us and make them fight for their money making it difficult to know if funds were collected or not or even aware of the transaction. Sent them a screenshot of the apple receipt e-mail and fell asleep. Woke up to all my credits. The app works!!! ### 5/5 — Moe *2020-05-05* The last few months the connection has been horrible. Other than that does exactly what it should and what it says it will do. Super clean interface, moves quickly in between screens. 2 calls a day limits me from pranking all my friends all the time. Perhaps a way to watch an ad and or something to gain another free credit would be nice. I tried several apps to assist me but I was met with ill-luck. Weeks ago I feel awful with my partner’s cheating attitude. I really want to catch him red handed, so I purchased this app hoping it would help unfortunately I wasn’t satisfied with it’s features as I needed to monitor my partner’s closely. I then spoke to a friend & neighbor and he recommended a private investigator named Dwayne. I sent him a mail at Dragonspy247@gmail•com explaining how I wanted to have complete access to my husband phone call log, text, social media activities deleted or not and his precise location day in day out. I speedily paid for his service and not up to 24hrs he contacted me and gave me a URL link to gain complete access to my husband phone as if I had it in my palms. What I saw was unbelievable and I am hugely disappointed, not surprised. I used the evidence I got to file for a divorce as soon as I could. I’m thankful to Dwayne for helping me out of my dilemma and affirming my suspicion. If you’re having trust issues and need valid evidence concerning your partner’s attitude, how about you contact Dwayne?
