## What is Trace?

Don't leave your fanfiction scattered among open tabs, bookmarks, and your patchy memory.

This app is a private reading library for the stories you read on AO3, FanFiction.net, and elsewhere. It remembers what you saved, where you stopped, and what you meant to find again.

REMEMBER EVERY FIC

• Track your stories with statuses that make sense for fanfiction: Saved, Reading, Caught Up, Paused, Finished, and Dropped.
• Let Trace automatically keep track of what chapter you're on.
• Keep chapter progress, 5 star ratings, private notes, and personal tags together and easily viewable for every story.
• Search by title, author, fandom, relationship, character, status, tag, and more.
• Build private or shareable collections of your favourites, recommendation lists, etc.

WORKS WHERE YOU READ

The included Safari extension works alongside supported AO3 and FanFiction.net pages. Add stories with a click, track progress automatically, see what stories are already in your library, and change reading status and five-star rating all within Safari.

ONE LIBRARY, ACROSS DEVICES

Keep your library available on iPhone, iPad, the web, Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. You can also add a story manually when a site is not supported by the extension.

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT

Trace does not ask for your AO3 or FanFiction.net password, does not store story text, and does not sell reader data. Your library is private unless you deliberately share a collection.

FREE TO START

Trace is free for libraries of up to 100 stories. If your library grows beyond that, Trace Unlimited removes the limit for $3.99/month or $39.99/year where available. Subscriptions help cover cloud storage, syncing, and the ongoing development that keeps Trace running. I hope to make the free limit even higher as Trace grows. Your local price is shown in the app.

Trace is an unofficial companion and is not affiliated with Archive of Our Own, the Organization for Transformative Works, FanFiction.net, or FictionPress.
