## What is Trace Your Name?

Trace Your Name is the ONLY tracing app that is dedicated to allowing your children to trace their own name! Enter up to 4 names, and you can practice writing all day long. 

Trace Your Name is geared towards children just learning to write their name. It allows them to trace their name over and over again without wasting paper. In Trace Your Name you can also practice writing the alphabet and numbers!

Trace Your Name allows you to store up to four names or words. You can change or remove those words at any time. Children can learn how to trace their name, individual letters of the alphabet or numbers!

Once your child has traced their name or the word on the screen, you can hide the guide letters and see how they did. As they get more advanced, you can switch off the letter guides and just show the letter itself.

It is not kid free at all . The tracing lines are super thin. You had to press an arrow to scroll down the name instead of it automatically prompting the child to move on to the next letter. It was horrible! Don’t waste your money. Ughhh!!

Not worth the price at all. It's terribly unfriendly for kids. Look at Edoki Names for a fraction of the price.

For the higher price of his app, I expected it to be more preschooler friendly. This is a simple app with only two screens total. Swiping does not move the screen so the child ends up scribbling all over trying to get to the next letter.

Best app I researched for tracing actual names.  For some letters like "I," in the word trace menu, it displays as a highlighted box that masks the letter.  Could use an eraser tool.

Needs improvement, my daughter likes to see her name. She has a hard time tracing it, the letters are small. The app allows you to draw all over the place. The app needs structure and better execution! Email the app designer with ideas, they usually respond to emails.

- Universal app! Although still best on the iPad.
- Significantly larger letters, it is now much easier for small fingers to trace their name.
- A new letter and number practice areas. The letters and numbers fill the screen.
- New zoom mode! Press the magnifying glass to zoom out and view the entire name at once. tap again to zoom in on the individual letters. You can now trace your name, hide the background letters and zoom out to see how your child did!
- New colors to trace with! You can now touch the color wheel to select one of six vibrant colors to trace with.

As before, trace your name supports both left and right handed children, and you can also hide the guide arrows if you want.
