## What is Tracearr?

Tracearr is a real-time monitoring platform for Plex, Jellyfin, and Emby. One dashboard for all your media servers.


REAL-TIME STREAMING DASHBOARD

See who's watching, what they're playing, and where they're streaming from - the moment it happens. Active sessions appear instantly with full details: device, quality, location, and transcoding status. Plex streams update via Server-Sent Events for zero-latency detection. A
live stream map shows exactly where your viewers are watching from around the world.


FLEXIBLE RULE BUILDER

Build custom automation rules using 20+ condition fields:

• Session behavior - concurrent streams, travel speed, unique IPs/devices in a time window, account inactivity
• Stream quality - resolution, transcoding, bitrate thresholds
• User attributes - specific users, trust score, account age
• Device & client - device type, platform, player app
• Network & location - country, IP ranges, local vs remote
• Scope - target specific servers or media types

Combine any conditions with AND/OR logic. When rules trigger, choose from multiple actions:

• Create violation with severity levels
• Send notifications (push, Discord, email, webhook)
• Adjust or reset trust scores automatically
• Terminate streams instantly

Good initial effort, but unfortunately everything I’ve tested so far seems to be “read-only”.  So no editing of users or rules, but the bones are there.  Looking forward to seeing where this goes.

**Developer response:** Yup - It’s only intended to be a companion app, and other than violation management it is only read only.

There are no plans to reach feature parity. If you have feature suggestions please open a feature request on GitHub.

Tracearr est sans aucun doute la plateforme de monitoring la plus complète pour Plex, Jellyfin et Emby. Le tableau de bord multi-serveurs justifie déjà à lui seul l’installation, mais ce qui le distingue vraiment, ce sont les fonctionnalités avancées de détection de partage de comptes, le système de trust score et le suivi des sessions en temps réel.Une fois le serveur correctement installé pour faire fonctionner l’application, les performances restent fluides même avec un historique important, et l’interface est moderne et agréable. Si vous gérez plusieurs serveurs multimédia et souhaitez obtenir de vraies analyses sur l’usage, la bande passante et le comportement des comptes, c’est un outil indispensable.
