## What is Traceless?

Edited a photo with an AI tool, and now apps label it as AI? That label often comes from hidden metadata written into the file. Traceless removes it.

Every photo and video carries other hidden details too: where it was taken, which phone took it, and when. Traceless strips those as well, entirely on your device.

REMOVE AI METADATA
• C2PA Content Credentials
• AI generation and "digital source type" tags
• XMP editing history showing which tools touched an image

REMOVE PRIVATE DETAILS
• GPS location and altitude
• Camera make, model, lens and serial number
• Capture dates and timestamps
• Creator, copyright and caption fields
• Camera maker notes

SEE EXACTLY WHAT WAS FOUND
Compare before and after, field by field. Every file gets a privacy risk score, so you can see at a glance what was hiding inside.

YOUR ORIGINALS STAY UNTOUCHED
Traceless always creates a clean copy. Your original file stays exactly as it was.

NOTHING LEAVES YOUR PHONE
Every photo and video is processed on your device. Traceless has no servers of its own and never uploads your media. No account, no analytics, no tracking.

CHOOSE WHAT TO KEEP
Keep exposure and lens settings while still removing AI tags and location. Maximum mode removes everything, and rebuilds an image from its raw pixels when that is the only way to guarantee AI metadata is gone.

BUILT FOR BATCHES
Clean up to 50 photos and videos at once, then save them to Photos or share them straight away.

WORKS WITH
JPEG, HEIC and PNG photos, plus MOV and MP4 videos.

GOOD TO KNOW
Traceless removes information stored in a file's metadata. It does not remove visible watermarks, and it never changes the image itself, so tools that analyse what a picture looks like are unaffected. Some apps also apply labels based on their own checks, which removing metadata cannot change.

TRACELESS PRO
Your first cleaning is free. Traceless Pro unlocks unlimited cleaning with a monthly subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel any time in your Apple Account settings.
