Your iPhone records everything and tells you everything you need to know.

Once you've accumulated lots of data, try linking it with other apps.
You can export timestamps, addresses, and map data to various apps.

[When Records Are Unstable]
* This app fully utilizes WiFi and cellular networks to obtain location information. It cannot work properly in airplane mode or with WiFi turned off. Please keep WiFi on.
* If records are not working properly, please check: Settings > Privacy > Location Services > Tracer (this app's icon) > Always Allow.
* Depending on your environment, it may take some time for location recording to stabilize. Please leave the switch on for a few days to see how records are generated.

* This app stores location data locally on your device. Communication with Apple's secure servers occurs only to convert latitude/longitude (which contains no personal information) into addresses and place names.
No location data from this app is otherwise shared externally.

### 3/5 — クラスタリング表示は不要

分布画面がクラスタリング表示になってしまって本当に残念。密度の高いあしどり機能までは望まないから、バックグラウンドの記録で一定期間の移動ルートなどを確認するのに本当に便利だったのに。それ以外は気に入っているから、使い続けているけど、このままずっとクラスタリング表示のままなら使わなくなるかな。

クラスタリング表示は、見た目をきれいにしたり、表示を整理したりすることよりも、画面上に多数の記録を同時に表示する際の負荷を抑えることを主な目的としております。できるだけ多くの状況で一定の品質を保って画面を表示するという課題に取り組んだ結果、現在はクラスタリング表示という方法を採用しております。
一方で、今回§Polaris§様に教えていただいたように、記録全体を一度に把握できることも大切な観点であると受け止めております。
つきましては、§Polaris§様がどのような目的や場面で記録の分布画面をご利用になっていたのか、具体的なご利用方法をもう少し詳しく教えていただけますと幸いです。

数日前から位置情報が記録されなくなり、アプリを立ち上げると『バックグラウンド記録には「常に」許可が必要です』とポップアップが出るようになったが、iOSの設定画面には『常に』にするような項目は無い。
『トラッキングを許可』という項目はあるが、iOS側の仕様が変わった…？

突然記録されなくなったとのこと、ご心配をおかけしました。原因と解決方法をご案内いたします。

kwsk様が設定画面で見つけられた「トラッキングを許可」は広告関連の設定で、位置情報の許可とは別の項目です。お気づきの通り、iOSの仕様が少々わかりにくくなっております。

位置情報の「常に」許可は、以下の手順で設定できます。
iOSの「設定」→「プライバシーとセキュリティ」→「位置情報サービス」→ アプリ一覧から「Tracer」を選択 → 「常に」を選択

iOSは定期的に「Tracerがバックグラウンドで位置情報を使用しています」という確認ダイアログを表示することがあり、そこで意図せず設定が変わってしまうことがあります。おそらく今回はこれが原因かと思われます。

Tracerに関しては画像などを使ってご案内することでより分かりやすく問題を解決していただけるかと考えております。上記の手順で改善しない場合や、ご不明な点がございましたら、アプリ内サポートメールよりお気軽にお声がけください。詳しくサポートさせていただきます。

車で走った道とかいろいろ記録したいと思って、このアプリに辿り着きました。なんと無限時計と同じ開発者さん！！即ダウンロードしました。
他のアプリは広告が頻繁にあったり正しく記録されないことがあったのですが、このアプリは超正確です。
将来的に課金してサポートしてあげたいぐらい素晴らしいアプリです！！！

TracerがあるからAndroidに移行せずiPhoneを使い続けていると言っても過言ではない。
リリース当時から変わらずユーザファーストの素晴らしいApp。
Googleのタイムラインを使っていたが、9年ほど前に（たしか）このアプリに移行。
Google Mapと違い、自動記録の位置情報を線で結ばないため記録を見返す時に実に見やすい。
カレンダーにも記録されるため、ログを時間軸で見る時にも見やすくて最高。

自身の忘防止と記録のために使ってます。とても重宝しているのですが、昨日今日と新幹線を利用して遠出しましたが、明らかに新幹線に乗車している時間に、その場所から40km程離れた電車も通っていない場所に1時間弱滞在したことになっていて気味が悪いなと。
今まで3年以上使っていますが、初めての出来事でした。
一体全体何なんでしょうか？

あとは、高速で場所移動している時も記録してほしい。例えば、何分経過した時に自動的に記録するとか。そこが少し不便。途中経過も含めて、ご検討くださいませ。

以下に簡単に現状の仕様、仕組みをご説明差し上げます。本件のご参考になれば幸いでございます。
Tracerでは、プログラム上で通過記録の特性に直近では変更は行っておりません。iOS18以降のOS更新の影響が原因で記録の頻度や精度が変化した可能性が考えられます。Tracerは、省エネを優先するモード(GPSを使わないモード)の場合、OSの細かな挙動に左右されやすい側面があります。今回の現象もその一例ではないかと推測しております。
Tracerでは、精度や一貫性をある程度犠牲にしてでも省エネを最優先にする価値観を尊重しています。一方で、多少のエネルギー消費を許容しながら記録の一貫性を高めたいというニーズにも対応しています。その場合、「あしどり記録」を有効にすることでGPSが起動し、全ての記録精度が大幅に向上します。
ただし、あしどり記録中は「通過」という形での記録は保存されません。あしどり記録自体が、通過の集合体のような記録に該当するためでございます。そのため、大変恐縮ですが、現時点では通過記録の精度や一貫性を直接向上する仕組み・機能はございません。一方で、あしどり記録を通過の代替として許容できる場合、一貫性のある記録を実現することが可能でございます。

You can now link photos and videos to your Visit and Track logs — so revisiting a place also brings back how it looked!

【Photo Linking】
From a completed Visit or Track, manually attach photos and videos from your library. Items taken during the log’s time window appear as candidates, and ones whose capture location fits the place start selected — so it’s easy to keep the moments that belong there. Photos outside the time range can still be added from your library.

Linked photos also show up on the detail map and as list thumbnails, making it easier to relive the day later. Your originals stay in the Photo Library; Tracer never deletes or moves them.

We’ll keep refining Photo Linking to feel even more natural. Feedback is always welcome via Support in the app.

Tracer’s cache system has been completely rebuilt to keep the app lighter and smoother, especially when you have a large location history.

We also refined how map images are generated and reused when scrolling quickly through Logs or switching through summaries. Visible cards can load more naturally, making it easier to review your daily movement history.
