Would be nice to see a way to fix that in a future version. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work at all *2021-05-12, version 2.7.3* This app works ONCE, and subsequent check in attempts give me only an error: “Unable to check in. There seems to be a network issue..” This happens despite having a clearly working data connection! Temporary time-consuming solution: delete the app, re-boot my phone, re-install the app, set it up (again), and then it will work ONCE. I tell you, Singapore, I will no take pleasure in blocking up the line of people trying to enter a place while I complete all these steps every single time I need to go anywhere!! Forget about using the app itself to report errors. That function also doesn’t work! I get another error that falsely claims “Check your connection. Don’t worry, it’s just the internet…” It wouldn’t be so bad if the tokens batteries also die so quickly (and randomly), leaving me stuck. Seriously you had a year to get this working. Now TT entry is mandatory and the app doesn’t work!! Yes, I have checked already that I have all software updates and have granted all permissions. You need to fix this issue!! ### 2/5 — Clumsy and doesn’t auto check out *2020-12-14, version 2.5.1* First of all - when checking out from somewhere, it would be great if we didn’t see a full screen with the confirmation. It’s taking up time and it’s useless. You may also click on the stars to save them as a list of your favourite places by clicking SafeEntry check in > Fav to view. However, widget shortcut to list of venues isn't available right now. Or just let me add to the Wallet. - can you add an intuitive check-in place suggestion/reminder based on location and favourite list? - is Dark Mode too complicated for you? ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work for me any more *2020-08-19, version 2.2* After I upgraded to version 2.2 the barcode disappeared.....now I have to bring my passport everywhere I go in sgp ### 3/5 — SafeEntry QR reader not available on home screen *2020-07-29, version 2.1.2* Installed new version 2.1.2 which requires re-registration. Had to use passport registration because I have a FIN but don’t have a WP/EP/LTVP card, and card number is required to use FIN for registration. No problem, but understand from friends that when registered under WP/EP/LTVP the SafeEntry QR reader is available on home screen. Home screen then has a list of current check ins and option to check out. I can access QR reader from my profile page to check in, But then no option to check out even from profile page. **Developer response:** Hi, usually there would be a blue check out button option after checking in. Good riddance. ### 1/5 — Dictatorship *2022-02-28, version 2.12.0* This is crazy ### 1/5 — Slow update after serology test *2021-12-13, version 2.11.0* It’s been 3 days after positive serology test results and my vaccination status still has not been updated as vaccinated. It also did not send me a reminder that I needed a serology test after entering more than 30 days. So dumb and slow. Finally updated after 5 days. ### 1/5 — Randomly failed to show vaccination status *2021-12-07, version 2.11.0* This app is mandated by the gov, which without it there’s no where you can go in Singapore. As important as it is, the app is inconsistent and randomly fails to show vaccination status even though you’re fully vaccinated, barring you to enter some venues when you need it the most. The app is also battery hog, you’d start to wonder what it actually do in the background and what data it collects. ### 1/5 — Vaccinated to non-vaccinated *2021-11-26, version 2.11.0* This app is completely worthless! After coming through immigration and proving my vaccinated status, for 4 weeks I had no issues. I’m here working so I require and vaccinated status. I had to go in to work one night on an emergency and get to the gate and voila my vaccinated status is now un-vaccinated. Explain this to me because once you take the vaccine it doesn’t seep back out of you. And help from the app seems to be non-existent. Now I’m hearing I may have to go and take a blood test to once again prove to these morons that I’m still vaccinated that nothing has changed. Poor decision in using a non-reliable app to prove you are vaccinated! ### 1/5 — Cannot check-in or out with TT app. *2021-10-08, version 2.9.2* Really buggy TT app. Initially last month able to use TT app on iOS to check in and out. Starting this month, not sure why, cannot use TT app any more. Off/on bluetooth. Restart app , all cannot work. Restart start iPhone, finally can use TT app, ONE TIME. Then after that cannot use any more. Tried to restart bluetooth , restart TT app, cannot. Not sure if i missed any setting or I’m the only one. ### 1/5 — Adding vaccine card as a foreigner *2021-08-21, version 2.9* App does not support. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. ### 1/5 — Wow, very disappointed *2021-06-22, version 2.7.6* Try to add my fin number, have my ID next to me, and it says ‘Invalid number’. I can’t go anywhere. Thanks idiots. ### 1/5 — Horrible app. Inadequate support. *2021-06-05, version 2.7.6* This app is required to enter any building, shop, cafe, etc. in Singapore. So it’s proper functioning is critical. But it is terrible. The app was failing to read QR codes so I had to reload it. The fresh app would not accept my mobile number, so the app would not work. I checked with the local telco carrier, Singtel, and they said that there were no problems with my number. But, Trace Together support is only Mon-Fri, 9-6 pm. For an app that is CRITICAL TO MOBILITY in Singapore such limited customer support is extremely inadequate. Important to realize that this contributes to social responsibility. We are all in this pandemic together. And we can only get out of it if we help each other by doing the right thing. Checking in and out of public venues is an important part of that social responsibility. My only suggestion is I hope TraceTogether will support Apple Watch. ### 5/5 — Works well *2021-07-21, version 2.8* Check ins are seamless. Records nearby devices well. Appreciate that all the Bluetooth records of nearby devices are only stored on my phone and I have the choice to upload it if I get covid (which I hope I don’t) **Developer response:** Hi, TraceTogether was built to complement Singapore's contact tracing efforts, hence we require a local phone number in order to register an account. But right now we need a functioning app and it does a fantastic job. Now it asks me to input my contact number to get an OTP but I do not receive an OTP even after multiple tries. There is also no technical support contact given. Issue now resolved . Received 7 OTP’s in one go due to past tries.
