## What is TracFerme Trackside Companion?

Race day moves fast. TracFerme Trackside Companion keeps your team's schedule, session data, setup details, tasks, and communication within reach in the paddock.

Built for teams, drivers, parents, coaches, and crew in karting and club car racing, the app brings the essential TracFerme AI race-day workflow to your iPhone.

RACE DAY AT A GLANCE
• See track-local time, current conditions, and the next-session countdown.
• Review the day's sessions and stay aligned when the schedule changes.
• Follow the drivers and sessions that matter to you.

CAPTURE EVERY SESSION
• Select the driver and vehicle for each session.
• Record start and finish times, session position, weather, and coach observations.
• Capture tire pressures, fuel, gearing, and the rest of the setup sheet for your discipline while it is fresh.

TIME LAPS AND SPOT FROM THE PIT WALL
• Run multiple driver or vehicle timers from one stopwatch.
• Record splits, enter laps manually, and save lap data to the related driver session.
• Spot for your driver: log stint starts and stops, positions gained or lost, laps up or down, and the current flag, track surface, and track temperature.

KEEP RACE-DAY WORK MOVING
• View assigned and open tasks, claim work, update status, and mark tasks complete.
• Work through shared race-day checklists so everyone can see what is done and what still needs attention.

STAY CONNECTED
• Use direct messages, role-based channels, and team broadcasts.
• Flag a message as urgent so it stands out when it matters.
• Receive trackside notifications and turn a message into an actionable task.

TRACFERME AI AT YOUR SIDE
• Ask questions in AI Chat while staying in the race-day workflow.
• Upload telemetry and video to the correct driver session for deeper review in the full TracFerme Pit Wall.

BUILT FOR THE PADDOCK
• High-contrast light and dark themes support changing outdoor conditions.
• Choose your preferred language and measurement units.
• Terminology follows your team's discipline, whether you run karts or cars.
• Keep race-day data synchronized with the TracFerme AI platform.

IMPORTANT
TracFerme Trackside Companion requires an existing TracFerme AI account. Available features depend on your organization, role, and configured race-day data.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.1 — 2026-09-14

This update takes TracFerme beyond karting.

• Your team's discipline drives the app: role names, vehicle terms, and screens match how you race, from karting to sports cars to endurance.
• New spotter tools on the Stopwatch tab: time stints, track your driver's position and laps up or down, and log the flag, track surface, and track temperature from the fence.
• Send pit board calls from the app. Team principals, owners, driver coaches, and spotters can put PIT IN, PIT THIS LAP, PUSH, HOLD, or a custom message on a driver's board. The pit wall sees it immediately, and the driver sees it in TracFerme LapTimer on their next look.
• Sessions without a set length no longer show a countdown or a flag.
• Fixes and polish throughout.
