### 3/5 — Bring back 4.8.2

Can we just revert back to the 4 year old version? 5.0.4 still has lots of issues that were not present in 4.8.2 and I didn’t really see any reason to change it for my usage.  My G data is shifted and wrongly scaled, the screen keeps turning off between autocross runs, connection to my XGPS160 is inconsistent, etc.

**Developer response:** Sorry to hear you are having trouble with the Track addict ap. Version 5.0.5 will be released soon with improvements for the phone sleeping along. 

Regarding the G data &  XGPS inconsistencies, if you could open a support request with a Track addict infolog (tools>get support) we can look further into these issue for you.  If you can provide any details on how to get these events to a repeatable state that would also be extremely valuable.

### 1/5 — Used to be great, unreliable and reduced functionality now

The app updated some time between the end of the 2025 track day season and the beginning of 2026. Neither of my OBD2 adapters, one WiFi, one BLE, work any more. When I tap ELM WiFi in the menu, it switches to disabled in settings. And as of today, the app lets my iPhone go to sleep after I told the app to start recording a session. I lost all of the video and data because the phone was asleep. This app is effectively unusable and I’ll be shopping for a replacement. The only thing I regret is having to manually export all my lap times for the last 6 years.

**Developer response:** Sorry to hear you are having trouble with the Track addict ap.

Version 5.0.5 will be released soon with improvements for the phone sleeping along with ELM WIFI support.

Regarding the BLE connection issues if you could reach out to us at support@hptuners.com with additional details in regard to the device being used along with and errors you are seeing during setup we will be happy to look further into this issue.

I love the app I have been using it since 2023, but I was wondering if you could made an Host of the track session, in which people Connect to the session, the host having the Time of everyone but he could also trigger the 3 main safety flag,(yellow, red, black) directly to the people on the session, so track owner and event organizer could actually add that to their sleeves

### 2/5 — Deleted Lap Files During IOS transfer

Recently downloaded this app after hearing about all of the data it logs as well as being able to overlay telemetry onto videos. When trying to follow along with a guide to transfer data from the app to my Mac (IOS) over WiFi, it wouldn’t send to my computer but gave me the option to send to my phone, as the app recognized my computer and phone as places it could send the data. Well without having any idea that anything would occur, I tried to offload to data to my phone, but as soon as I clicked my phone as an option, the app crashed and when I went back into the app to try again, that entire sessions data file was gone. Just like that my PB session was erased and I’ve tried everything to recover the files to no success. The app is cool and looking at the data is fun, but that little bug cost me all the data for my best laps out, so if that could be taken care of or made simpler to transfer data to devices, the app would be near perfect for the price, but as it is currently, it’s pretty easy to lose your data files only to never be recovered. So if you’re reading this, my advice is to offload the data by plugging your phone into the computer and transferring all of the data files to the computer, don’t try to do the WiFi route, you may lose all your data that way. Will continue to use that app now knowing how to transfer things over via wired connection, but still, a fix for that or to be able to recover lost data would be nice.

I've used TA for 4 years with an ext GPS, BT OBD and Hero 6, always worked incredibly.  Now nothing works, I just tried to xfer my PB time for VIR, it crashed and now the session is GONE.  Since December, it will start my go pro but not stop it, it cant find my OBD in less than 3-4 mins, and everytime i leave it active on screen, in range of my OBD adapter, my car battery drains.  Once great, now garbage

I’ve used this app for years to capture Autocross info and videos. Latest version won’t connect to my GoPro Hero3. Also doesn’t appear to connect to my Dual XGPS160. Web-based support info seems to be lacking/out-of-date. At this point I’m stumped and bummed.

I’ve been using TrackAddict pro for a long time. Went to the track today and it wouldn’t run for more than a couple of seconds. After downloading another app to do my timing I got back to the hotel and tried to take a look at this. I found an update available in the app store and did the update however it still doesn’t work very well although it doesn’t crash after two seconds. Getting the camera to work is awkward and tap to cancel On The recording screen doesn’t work. I have to shutdown the app to get out of that screen while testing it. In the OBD two dongle I’ve been using with it forever now doesn’t seem to be something that you can select or set up. I don’t understand why the developers took a perfectly functional app and screwed it up.

- В режиме записи экран гаснет, из-за чего запись прекращается;
- Перед записью нет экрана предпросмотра камеры;
- Записанные сессии не группируются;
- Добавление второй сессии для сравнения не работает;
- Полоса прокрутки записи сессии практически не работает;
- Удаление сессий не работает;
- На экране добавления трассы не работает компас;

This is a great app. I have a Garmin and it’s in one car. I jump into another car and I don’t get to track my data. I do know. It’s not as good as the catalyst but it’s $8.99. It’s awesome. I’m pleased with it.
