## What is TrackCoin?

What is TrackCoin?

TrackCoin is a behavioral algorithm applied to cryptocurrencies. The method is inspired by Endel Tulving’s research on emotional memory and its requirement in making decisions. The algorithm translates historical coin price trajectory and volatility into the probable mental states of market participants.

Each day it estimates, at the close of the market, the degree of satisfaction and the degree of frustration in the market for each coin. It then provides a limit price, that tells you at what point the market will turn from being frustrated to satisfied (or vice versa).

Since cryptocurrency markets trade 24 hours a day, the user chooses their own closing time, for example, every day at 7pm.

When satisfaction prevails at the close, TrackCoin provides a “safety” signal (IN), and when frustration prevails, it provides a “caution” signal (OUT).

Thus, TrackCoin simulates a cryptocurrency investor who is either a buyer of a cryptocurrency (IN) at the close, or a buyer of a stable coin (OUT).  TrackCoin is not a short seller. The model performance is measured and displayed day after day.
 
TrackCoin also provides continuous statistical information, namely the probability of being IN or OUT at closing.

TrackCoin also offers a so-called "optimal" solution inspired by traditional asset management techniques. This involves taking more risks when the market is safe, and less risk when the market is unstable.
 
If the dominant cryptocurrency, i.e., bitcoin, is OUT, then the strategy is cautious (OUT). Alternatively, if bitcoin is IN, then the strategy selects the coin with the highest upside potential, be it bitcoin or another coin.

Par ailleurs les notifications ne fonctionnent toujours pas si l’application est fermée.

il faut désinstaller correctement l'application puis la réinstaller pour vider le cache ou alors désélectionner toutes les cryptomonnaies, rafraîchir puis sélectionner et rafraichir à nouveau. Le concept de l’appli est supet interessant. Mais l’appli est souvent bugguée. Elle affiche un bel ecran blanc. C’est un peu léger pour un abonnement a 100€ l’annee !!

It's a terrible app - flawed algorithm - I used it for a year and lost money. I only tried it with $1,000 to start and followed the in/out cycle. If such an effective algorithm existed it would be a lot more popular. Stay away from it

I get a notification. Notification is an alert: “status change from out to in”. Ok, so I go the main app page, the status is still out. So is the coin out or in? Which one is the correct info?

Bonus: Notifications are now completely broken. The app keeps sending notifications, but when I click on them I don’t see anything - it’s just the rolling loading screen thing. Even if I force shut the app, and then click on the ring to see the notification, it won’t show me what it is. 

The app is completely broken. Shame on Gavekal charging $10 for something that doesn’t even work.

Plutôt bien pour les signaux d’entrées et de sorties !
Cependant l’application bug beaucoup comme :
- impossible d’ouvrir les messages venant de TrackCoin,
- impossible de se connecter avec nos identifiants sur un autre téléphone.

Je remonte ma note d’une étoile car le choix du token optimal m’a fait faire un x2.5 en moins d’un mois. Mais il reste un bug dans l’affichage des graphs. En cliquant sur All, on n’a l’historique que depuis le début d’année et pas depuis le début du fonctionnement de l’algo en 2021. Les perfs affichées sont donc moins bonnes…

Édit : et une nouvelle fois, impossible de charger les données du serveur. L’application tourne en boucle au démarrage.
