### 4/5 — Perfect except…

*2026-08-07*

One of my overall favorites, but I consistently find that they track food items incorrectly. Why do Rice Krispies have a weird nutrition label? Could’ve easily been the goat app if they had a better food database (I loved macrofactors). A UI makeover would be nice for some parts (dark blue and minty green?)

### 4/5 — Great app

*2026-07-31, version 7.3.0*

really like the app, especially with the wide selection of exercises. my only issue with the app is how it is difficult to search for a food.

### 5/5 — best on the market

*2026-07-27, version 7.3.0*

best tracking app on the market by far. can track lifts, steps, macros, micros, you can personalize everything and it even has evidence backed recommendations for your specific body composition. 1,000/10. never downloading another tracking app. thank you keenan🙏

### 5/5 — No paywall

### 5/5 — Easily the best free training app on the market

*2026-07-01, version 7.0.0*

I’ve been using Tracked for around 2 years now, i’ve tried around dozen different apps and nothing compares to tracked. the app has a very beginner friendly interface which you can adapt to as you go, allows to create your own exercises free of charge depending on what your gym has, can track sets, reps, RIR, rest exercies (pro feature), there is also a weight tracker , progress pic section, body measurements , step tracking and recently a top notch food tracking section as well. Much love to Keenan and his brother, app is peak❤️

### 5/5 — Best free app on the market

Worth ur time

### 5/5 — Best training app

*2026-06-19, version 7.0.0*

Literally has everything you want. The developers also clearly care about the app and are continuously trying to improve it

### 5/5 — BEST APP EVER

*2026-06-09, version 6.7.4*

Keenan‘s Tracked training app is the best app to track workouts and nutrition. I suggest paying for Tracked pro it makes the app Way better. The app does bug out here and there, but I’m sure he will fix that. Overall it’s a fantastic app

### 5/5 — 5 Stars Amazing App

*2026-06-07*

Great app, the best workout app I’ve ever used. Makes tracking workouts so easy and helps you track your weight and steps as well. Nutrition tracking is great and easy. First app like this I’ve used that works great without having to pay, and there’s little to no ads interrupting you. 10/10

### 4/5 — Amazing but. . .

*2026-06-01*

It’s definitely vibe-coded, you can tell by the obsession with pills but it still smokes every tracker out there. Every feature someone who cares about SBL will ever need is there and they keep adding more to hit every corner, but that is also a bit of a problem in terms of app bloat. Still gas, love you Keenan

**Developer response:** Appreciate the review!

Tracked has been around for over 5 years now and we use something called "Tailwind" which is a utility-first CSS framework that became very popular! A lot of what AI is trained on is Tailwind - leading to this idea of the app being "vibe coded". Food for thought.

### 5/5 — Best free tracking app

*2026-05-30, version 6.7.0*

I fw this app

### 5/5 — Lift Tracking Fantastic, Food Tracking Falls Slightly Short

*2026-05-28*

I switched to the free version of this app for everything (food, training, bodyweight tracking) for about 3 weeks to give it the full test. (Originally used a homemade Excel for tracking lifts/bodyweight and Cronometer for food.)

The lifting side is quite useful and fairly intuitive. Love the features like RIR and easy/immediate session-to-session progress indicators. Some bugs exist but nothing major. My advice for users: create a custom exercise for each individual machine (not just movement pattern) that you use to keep progress-tracking organized.

On the food side, the limited database of foods holds it back from being best-in-class. In my experience, very few things that you scan by barcode will populate, and the manual label-screening feature has not worked properly. These drawbacks are mitigated by the fact that it’s very easy to just input the name, weight, and macronutrients of anything you eat. This is fine if you’re just tracking macros, but is a bit more of a headache if you’re tracking micronutrients as well.

I will be sticking with Tracked for my lifts, but probably going back to Cronometer for nutrition, at least for the time being, and will be sure to test Tracked’s nutrition capabilities intermittently.

It gets 5 stars for being a free, well-integrated platform across both lifting and nutrition. Good work team!

### 5/5 — Tracked honest review no bs

*2026-05-20, version 6.6.3*

“I usually think these kinds of apps are horrible because they lock basic features behind a paywall. Although there is a paid version, from what I’ve used the free version is genuinely top tier. It helps me keep track of everything really easily, it’s simple to use, and it actually feels useful without forcing you to pay straight away. The layout is clean, it’s easy to update, and it’s become part of my routine because it helps me stay organised and consistent. Definitely one of the better tracking apps I’ve used and I’d recommend it to anyone wanting to track progress and stay on top of things.”

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Glitching, regressing my progress

*2026-07-25, version 7.3.0*

I’ve had it happen more than once where I’ll log a workout, go back to look at the overview and it straight up just didn’t log any of my sets or reps. Now I can’t refer to my previous workout to track progress. Extremely frustrating. Do not recommend this app at all. Counterproductive to progress I’ve invested. Fix it guys.

### 1/5 — Unusable

*2026-05-12, version 6.6.0*

I’ve tried giving the app a second chance many times and have come to the conclusion that it’s unusable. Once every other week it randomly deletes exercises from my workout plans and all of my tracked progress is gone when I re add them. The app is also very laggy and signs me out for no reason constantly.

### 1/5 — Minimum requirement

*2026-02-21, version 6.1.5*

What do you think the minimum requirement is for a fitness app? For me it’s to track my progress with my fitness but I can’t even do that with this app why, cause I won’t pay 84 pounds a year to just put a number in for my progress, absolute scam, it’s the bare minimum and it can’t even get that right.

### 1/5 — Network error

*2025-12-15, version 5.7.4*

I can’t sign in the app because of “network error”… I have tried making new accounts and deleting and reinstalling…nothing…

### 1/5 — I’m glad I didn’t upgrade to the paid version

*2025-10-01, version 5.4.17*

Tracked stopped syncing, and popped up with a message to log out. Now I can’t log in. It takes my email address, never prompts for a password and gives me a screen where I can open my email. Support never responded

### 3/5 — Around a 2.75 / 5

*2026-06-21, version 7.0.0*

Buggy and exercise selection isn't great. The UI and scheduling feature is good. Best way to describe this app is jack of all trades but a master of none.

### 3/5 — Good but buggy

*2026-04-23, version 6.5.4*

Great app, very simple to use except there are many bugs that just don’t get fixed. Every so often my lifts just don’t get recorded and my lifts are recorded like to the sets I did two weeks ago. Quite often a lot of the buttons don’t work either and need me to close the app and load it up again. I also think the session expiring is quite annoying needing to do it every day

### 3/5 — Data gone

*2026-01-24, version 6.0.5*

Why did the app sign out bro and i cant sign back i lost months of progress thanks a lot

### 3/5 — Not able to see previous weight

*2025-08-05, version 5.4.0*

Good but not being able to see the weight from last session without paying sucks :(

### 4/5 — great app!

*2026-08-07, version 7.3.6*

overall great app! just wish there was garmin integration (and possibly any other wearable apps), beyond just the fitbit one. otherwise flawless and excited for the future of the app

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Best free tracking app on the market

*2026-08-26, version 7.3.8*

Try finding another free tracking app like this good luck

### 5/5 — Best Training App on Market

*2026-08-19, version 7.3.7*

Constantly updating to improve performance, has reset options, nutrition, basically every exercise and if it is not logged you can add it. Super great!

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2026-08-12*

It is genuinely so easy to say how good this app is. It has so many features and options to choose from. If i had to nitpick i would say the food options arent great but everything else besides that is incredible

### 5/5 — The best app for fitness

*2026-08-11*

Genuinely idk what I’d do without this I can’t workout without it. You can track everyone fitness related, I would recommend it to anyone that goes to the gym even a little bit

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2026-08-07, version 7.3.6*

Best free app for tracking workouts and nutrition

### 5/5 — 10/10

*2026-08-05*

This app is significantly better than Cronometre, I love all the features and i do come across bugs from time to time very rarely but when I reach out and leave a ticket in the discord Jackson reaches out normally within just a few minutes and resolves the issue very quickly, you can really tell how much work and effort they put into making the app as best as possible. Overall it’s a great app and it feels like there always making it better with new features

### 5/5 — Nice app

*2026-08-01, version 7.3.0*

Nice app work good👍

### 5/5 — Best app OAT

*2026-07-29*

The free features are INSANE. It already explains NEAT and some other energy expenditures that some people don’t even think about. The excercises are well thought out and the nutrition and calorie set is perfect! Try it out and maybe even go to the pro version

### 5/5 — Unreal

*2026-07-28, version 7.3.0*

Genuinely shocked at how amazing this app is so far; and almost EVERYTHING free is just surreal

### 5/5 — best training app ever!!!

*2026-07-28, version 7.3.0*

they really cooked with this one. it’s easy and simple to use and most of the features are free. anytime someone asks what training app to use i point them this way
