### 1/5 — Does not work

*2023-09-27, version 2.0.5*

Paid £300 installed by dealer . Does not update unit status or says unknown . Haven’t moved the bike 2 days and getting trips log all day. Not sure will do job if bike get stolen . Feel waste of money

### 1/5 — Utter cr-app

*2023-03-24, version 2.0.5*

What a completely awful app. Takes about half an hour to find the map and then locate your vehicle. Imagine your car’s been stolen and you’re in a flap. You’ve got no chance using this app.
You tap on tabs that don’t work because you don’t realise you have a pop-up open as it is twice the size of the screen. It’s been developed for a desktop PC (which probably isn’t much cop on there either) and then linked to this app.
This and Boditrax 2.0 are my two worst apps by a country mile. If they don’t shape up in the next six months when my subscription is due for renewal, they can whistle for my next payment!

### 1/5 — Utterly useless

*2022-10-20, version 2.0.5*

Considering they are one of the most expensive trackers on the market they have the worst customer service and app on the market. On other vehicles we have purchased tracker units for less than £100 with 1 years subs and their website and app are 100x better. It doesn’t cost the earth to pay a company to develop a decent app, pull your finger out tracker

### 1/5 — Deeply dissapointing service and app

*2022-02-04, version 2.0.5*

Having just spend shy of £500 for a vehcile tracker from tracker.co.uk to install this app, I have found out this app is worse than simply looking out my window to see if my car has been stolen. At least if I look out of my window I can be sure if the car is where I parked it. Unfortunely I can't park that close to my home.

Issues:

1.) Location is not up to date, app still telling me car is where I drove it to over three hours ago and have since returned home. Useless, none of my other trackers did this, they would update in real time when ignition was on. There no excuse for this other than supressing features. While in some modes a tracker needs to maintain battery, this is not while ignition is on. This limitation is also not made clear in marketing materials.

2.) Tracker..co.uk misleadingly claim that the tracker tocuh app alerts and 'notifies' you of car movement so you (thanks for making me do it) can phone the company to report a theft. I had foolishly assumed this meant proper IOS notifications. Frankly this isn't very helpful in the event of a theft, but I was willing to accept this if I could set the notification to play a sound in the middle of the night. Guess what? 'notifiy' mean send you a useless email. Tracker.co.uk, get this through your terrible product development managmenet: AN EMAIL IS NOT AN ALERT!!!!!! In an age where most email is spam and we have to turn notifications off for email you might as well write me a letter and send it by second class. This is comletely useless and I would argue against the trade descriptions act In the event of a theft time is of the essence, I can't wait until 3 days after the theft happened to check my email to find out the car has been stolen, if your innaccurate service is even capable of that. So I have paid £500f for a product that is worse that looking out of the window when I wakle up every morning. What a rip off.

My last tracker from Biketrac would sms me, and then the call cerntre would CALL ME in the event of any movement of my bike when armed. I coudl set their number to bypass do not disturb at night so my phome would ring loudly. If I didn't answer they would call the police and retreive the vehicle. This was complete piece of mind for around £500 (the same price). I had no idea how superior their product is for the same price. Do not buy this product when there are far suprior products for the same price.

### 1/5 — Crap app

*2021-12-14, version 2.0.4*

Still no geofencing alerts via the app to IOS notifications. Really? It’s not actually that hard to do.

However, it would appear that the people at Tracker lack the any motivation to improve the app. Can’t recommend this.

### 1/5 — Poor app, even poorer customer service

*2021-07-29, version 2.0.4*

Sadly, my only contact with this company has been to report services not working: the geo fencing being unable to be activated; the find my vehicle not working; and not being able to log into the new app.

In each instance it feels like it’s the customer services department’s duty to talk over you, fob you off, and say it’s not their / the app’s fault. Ultimately, you have to accept you’ve paid a full price for a hit and miss service.

I’ve seen other comments regarding continued delays to essential upgrades. Alas, this might be due to the company’s poor financial health. It has an insolvent balance sheet, it must rely on its parent company drip feeding cash otherwise I’m pretty sure it will go bust. So, beware before making your purchase, go into it with your eyes open and expectation set low.

### 1/5 — Rubbish

*2021-06-21, version 2.0*

Can’t even get tech support to respond

### 1/5 — Should be called Crapper

*2021-04-26, version 2.0*

As others have mentioned you don’t get push notifications when your car is moved while geofenced. It’s been over three years since I’ve been using tracker app and I was told very early on that they were going to be introducing push notification ‘soon’. Three years later they still can’t manage to do it. You do get an email notification but that is no good when you don’t check your emails every minute of the day and your car could’ve been driven out of the country by you do. Another problem is seeing your routes you have driven. When you check the map instead of showing your exact route down the roads used you get as the crow flies. Eg it will show me driving across a motorway ,through a forest, across a farmers field to get home instead of using actual roads. Very poor.

### 1/5 — Usual tracker shambles

*2021-04-01, version 2.0*

Been away from tracker for about 8 years, had to buy another one at request of insurance company. I hate how expensive it is and how rubbish the web, app and customer service experience is.

### 1/5 — Poor app /customer service

*2021-01-24, version 2.0*

I have been with tracker for five years now and their customer service is poor and always has been.
For the money you pay they are not very professional and do not keep you up to date with what they are doing with their services.
My app has been updated from the old one and now I can’t get into the new one ?
Also be aware after five years Tracker will ask for more money to replace your unit that needs to be replaced every five years???
There are a lot better companies out there that offer the same service.

### 1/5 — Buggy and awful

*2020-12-20, version 2.0*

Constantly, constantly, CONSTANTLY sends me alerts that the car is being driven even when I’ve turned security off to drive it or sends false alerts telling me the car is in motion when it isn’t. Desperately needs fixing to make it useful and provide actual peace of mind!

### 1/5 — Useless!

*2020-12-14, version 2.0*

Can’t log in. Emailed tracker and they sent me a security token, that didn’t work. Reset my password, that didn’t work. Deleted app and reinstalled it, that didn’t work. I am one very unhappy Tracker customer!!

### 1/5 — Update logged me out

*2020-12-12, version 2.0*

The recent update has logged me out of my account with no support to call until Monday. Not impressed.

### 1/5 — Needs sorting

*2020-10-04, version 1.8*

Had new tracker fitting and from day one the app is all over the place keeps telling me I can’t geofence the car as it’s in Motion when it’s parked and locked ?? and according to the tracker app my car is about 6 miles away right now when it’s parked in my garage ?? for a company as well established as tracker this is a very poor app and they need to get on top of this and get the app sorted for its customers.

### 1/5 — Poor design

*2020-07-31, version 1.8*

For what you pay for, this app is very elementary. Notifications are received via email as opposed to the app itself. The app does not fit the entire screen from iPhone 8 Plus and above. The location of your car on the map feature is not accurate. Honestly, a great tracker but a shame the app is extremely poor in design. Tracker apps a fraction of the price run more smoothly and actually serve their purpose.

### 1/5 — Can’t locate vehicle after update

*2020-01-12, version 1.8*

Notifications never worked for me (I only received emails if my vehicle moved after choosing “Protect my Vehicle”, but since updating the app the “Route to my Vehicle” and “Show on Map” buttons in the “Find my Vehicle” section are now greyed out and can’t be pressed. Also I can’t Protect or Unprotect my vehicle, I now get a network error. These are the main functions of the App so it’s redundant until fixed.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Don’t buy these !!

*2025-08-29, version 2.0.9*

Had 3 trackers none of which track on the app.
Company blamed it on faulty batch of trackers.
Replacement tracker didn’t work either and then changed their story to a faulty app !
Do not recommend this company at all

### 1/5 — Unable to register

*2025-01-24, version 2.0.9*

Just had tracker installed in my car by the manufacturer. Got the serial number and security code but app keeps failing to register complaining that the details cannot be verified.

### 1/5 — Garbage

*2024-11-14, version 2.0.9*

App is honestly garbage,

1. Bike location isn’t accurate and the compass never points at it. You can be right in front of it and it will say it’s 15 metres away and still be pointing the wrong way.

2. I don’t get the point of safe mode, it’s made no difference whether it’s on or off.. always get a text email.

3. Even after confirming my bike hasn’t been stolen which you have to wait 5-6 minutes for an automated text (imagine if it actually wasn’t stolen) and I confirm it’s not stolen, I can be going down the motorway for an hour or two without stopping and then get a call in the middle of the motorway, like what the heck ?

4.Also the support team are useless, you get an automated email stating they can take up to
5 days to reply and after 3 weeks I don’t get a reply on two occasions until I re email again.

5. The subscription cost after buying the tracked unit for over £200 is not worth it after having it for 11 months now. Seek a cheaper alternative.

### 1/5 — Waste of money

*2024-10-15, version 2.0.8*

Bought one for my motorbike, dealership installed for £300 and they never mentioned that it would then cost a further £130 per year to use otherwise it wouldn't work.
Absolute waste of money wish i got something better.

### 1/5 — Not working

*2024-10-02, version 2.0.8*

I paid a lot of money for this tracker and it’s not working at all… bike hasn’t stood still for days according to the app although being used daily.

### 1/5 — Stopped working

*2024-09-19, version 2.0.8*

Had the tracker fitted and app worked for 4 months, now the app seems to to locate my motorcycle and seems to ably give accurate information when connected to WiFi

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2024-08-27, version 2.0.8*

The app simply doesn’t work. Wish I’d done my research before committing to having it installed on my bike because I don’t think it will be any use if it’s ever stolen….I don’t get any notifications when my bike is moved and the location doesn’t even show where my bike it, the trip feature also doesn’t work.

The fact it’s a monthly subscription is criminal, the app wouldn’t be worth it if it was free.

### 1/5 — App is useless

*2024-07-30*

1. Bike location isn’t accurate, I’ve stood in front of my bike and it says I’m 10 meters away and the arrow isn’t even pointing at my bike so good luck finding your bike if it’s stolen
2. At the start of my ride even if I turn off safe mode I have to confirm over text that it’s me moving my bike which is fair enough, however when I’m in a middle of a ride I get texted again, then called even after getting the confirm text ? It’s super annoying and distracting and it’s not even a one off, it’s happened multiple times
3. After a week or so the trip tracker stopped working and has never worked since
4. Just get a air tag it’s way cheaper, when buying the tracking unit for over £200 I didn’t expect a subscription service which is something the dealer never told me.

### 1/5 — Does not have push notifications for alerts

*2024-04-17, version 2.0.8*

My phone is connected to my account but I forget to deactivate safe mode and get back to a bunch of emails telling me my bike was moved.

If my bike is moved I want an alert on my phone:

A push notification will also tell me to switch off safe mode as soon as I get the bike out of the garage.

Occasionally I got a phone call but they do not bother calling now, a push message to the phone to tell me to switch it off would be a lot better for all parties preventing wasted calls and ensuring a genuine incident can be identified quickly.

It also fails to connect trips if the bike stops or slows, so when I view the trip history when there has been any traffic at all or just junctions and it splits the trip making the trip data unusable. I get 46 separate trips for a short ride to the barbers, not one.

The app really lets this system down, I will shop around for a different tracking system next time.

### 1/5 — Shocking! The whole platform is just shocking!

*2023-10-26, version 2.0.7*

Terrible system, everything is so slow to update. Sometimes I get notifications days later!! By that time my car would be long gone and stripped out! Far better options out there now

## Most praised reviews (8 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2022-02-07, version 2.0.5*

This app gives me peace of mind when it comes to keeping track of my car.

Apparently Tracker is working on improvements, so I’m looking forward to the next update when I can receive in app notifications.

### 5/5 — Works great

*2019-11-03, version 1.8*

Only had it fitted last week and so far so good shows near exact location.
Need to enable push notifications on your email so you get notification of the vehicle moving
Fitted to Honda cb650r bro sports motorcycle

### 4/5 — Journeys

*2018-12-12, version 1.6*

I like the new Journey’s addition to the app but is it possible to bring up a calendar so you can select the date you want rather than going through the whole month to the desired date.

Thanks

### 4/5 — Good start

*2018-06-10, version 1.5*

Just downloaded the app which so far is good. Would be better to have the geofence alert as an notification on the phone as well as the email

### 4/5 — Not bad

*2017-12-22, version 1.4*

Just installed it and started today. It does pretty much what you need it to do. One change I would like to see regarding the geo-fencing is the option to send an alert to the phone rather than just an email. I assume that could be done with banners within the app on an iphone.

### 4/5 — Fair start

*2017-09-23, version 1.1*

Not a bad start for an app but could do with some upgrades such as multiple vehicle tracking on on device. Couple of issues with vehicle movement alerts still not working in 1.1 (still just email alerts) and the need to close the app to refresh the location of the vehicle.

### 3/5 — Has worked ok for me

*2025-03-20, version 2.0.9*

Tracker App gives me some peace of mind when I have to lock and leave my motorcycle. The only downside is an email alert rather than a push notification.

### 3/5 — notifications

*2020-01-24, version 1.8*

Not too bad but the alert of a Vehicle being moved needs to be on the phone, with a distinguishable sound, rather than an email, would be much more useful. Also when looking through the vehicle history, is it not possible to pop up a calendar rather than having to scroll through day by day.
Update:- Still can’t believe that any alerts are only on email and not via the app on the phone. What’s the point of an email. If someone is moving your car YOU want to know there and then. Not receive an email somtime later on ☹️. Can’t me on Tracker get your act together.
