That being said, it is EXTREMELY buggy and I have to routinely go into my past hours and fix things because of bugs that stop a task immediately after starting, doesn’t switch tasks effectively, etc. If they update and fix all the bugs, this would be a five star app, as is, it’s mediocre at best. ### 3/5 — Cannot log in on iOS *2021-06-07, version 4.2* App was working fine till this morning - when attempting to log in on iOS (iPhone 7Max) - cannot proceed past entering the first letter of e-mail address - it freezes. ### 4/5 — Need a watch app *2021-01-23, version 4.1.0* Great app! In addition, this is far too complicated of a platform for what its intended purpose is. Keep our time so we can bill our clients, we need you to get that simple task down first before attempting to expand the integrations and skills. AGAIN, UNTIL AUTO ROTATE is updated and supported by this app no one should even consider paying for this app. ### 3/5 — Really Good but.... *2020-03-02, version 4.1.0* Its a very good Working and nice Designed App.... but please make it available in offline Mode.... its a Pain in the ass working offgrid with it... ### 2/5 — Freezes up now *2020-02-19* Worked great a year ago when I first installed but not it doesn’t save my notes/ it freezes when trying to save them. ### 3/5 — Simple utilities missing *2020-02-05, version 4.0* It would be useful to have some more simple tools such as: being able to view total time worked in a day, including broken down by Project (currently I have to add it up manually, which seems counter to the point of this app); other time periods of analysis, such as the past week; an alarm that can be set once reaching x amount of time spent on a task; visual analysis like pie charts; etc. Without these, the app isn’t much different to recording time manually using the stopwatch that comes in the Apple clock app. ### 4/5 — Useful but unattended *2019-12-16, version 4.0* The web app is continuously receiving updates but the App Store version has stayed the same for a year. With the new iPad OS home screen widgets, it would be really useful to have one for Tracking Time. The web is great but please keep an eye on the app! ### 2/5 — Gagging at customer service *2019-04-07* I've been using TrackingTime's services for a long time now and it's a good service, the PDF reports are beautiful which is great because it makes me look professional in front of my clients. However, customer support is absolutely desastrous. Their PDF reports were no longer displaying the cost at the bottom so I contacted support for help. At first they were very responsive but after the third email they never replied back at all. Even after I followed up. I was able to come up with a workaround and send the report to my client, but TrackingTime customer support left me hanging. Not to mention, I'm a paying customer. The guy's name is Diego Wyllie, careful with this fella. And BTW I'm currently looking into a new time tracking service and leave Time Tracking behind, can't even imagine if I have to contact customer support again. The app Timely is looking promising. ### 3/5 — Auto Rotate Please *2018-11-02* Auto Rotate, Please ### 3/5 — Needs update for auto rotate to horizontal interface. *2018-08-09* I love the servers and I pay for monthly. The only thing I'm upset about is the app can't do auto rotate to horizontal interface. I usually use iPad to track time and it's super inconvenience to see time and do other things since I need to turn it to vertical EVERY TIME open it. I have been waiting for the update for this but I feel like the company didn't realize that. Please do something for next update. Im on an iphone X ### 4/5 — A great tracking app *2018-01-13* I bill by the hour, and this app makes it so much easier to stay on top of that. The only negative is that it takes quite a few steps to start a new project, there should be a way of duplicating projects. ### 4/5 — Great app for logging time *2018-01-11* This is perfect for my small business. I am a loom knitter so I use TrackingTime to log all my work hours so I know how to price my products better. Great job on the app! ### 4/5 — Great app *2018-01-11* Great app for keeping track of time spent on multiple tasks throughout the day. Quick and easy to create tasks and start tracking overall time spent. Would also be good for managing a groups time spent on an overall project with sub tasks or specific parts of the project. Could use a little improvement on time entry so the user doesn’t have to calculate the time for manual entries. ### 2/5 — Not User Friendly - Confusing *2017-08-31* Tried the app, but found it confusing and frustrating from the start. Let's say you want to add a previous entry? Well, you can add a start date/time, but no stop time. That makes no sense. You have to calculate out the hours and minutes for tasks on your own. No thanks! Defeats the purpose of this app. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Buggy + missing a lot of basic features. Not worth the subscription. *2024-07-17* Many basic features are buggy or don’t even work at all. It’s also really frustrating that you’re unable to export timesheets from the mobile app. UI is also not as intuitive as it could be, in general. Then they have the gall to raise the subscription price without notifying me (or it wasn’t clear). I don’t think it’s worth it anymore. ### 1/5 — stoppe es aber zählt weiter *2023-09-13, version 4.9.11* ich dachte zuerst ich vergesse ständig auf stopp zu drücken, aber nein. ich stoppe, es zeigt an, dass es stoppt, und etwas später sehe ich, dass die zeit die ganze zeit weiter läuft. danke für nichts i guess. warum muss das auch mit dem internet verbunden sein? wahrscheinlich schafft es das nicht richtig, das stoppen zu speichern. jedenfalls unbrauchbar als zeittracking app ### 1/5 — Not what I was looking for but I’m trapped *2023-04-09, version 4.9.9* I was trying out this app to track the man hours put into numerous projects my all of my employees. It didn’t do exactly what I was looking for, which is fine. However, when I tried to delete my account the option didn’t exist. They even have a self help guide for deleting the account and none of the options described existed. I think this is a very shady business practice and I highly advise anybody against doing business with Tracking Time. There are plenty of reputable companies that don’t attempt to trap you in their program. ### 1/5 — Update *2021-06-08, version 4.2* Das Update funktioniert auf dem IPhone gar nicht. Man kann sich nicht mehr am Account anmelden ### 1/5 — Great Concept, Nice Features, Awful Customer Support *2017-04-17* I enjoy using this app in theory. Really beautiful design, unique features, and while the UI could definitely be simplified, it's still a very good app. However, after a simple mistake while creating my account, I cannot get the oIS app to sync with my account, period. I've had numerous interactions with customer support, and followed their suggestions to a T, however this basic issue still has yet to be fixed by TrackingTime Support - rendering the iOS app completely useless. My last support request was over two weeks ago, and this particular issue has been a problem since day one (several months ago at this point) and when I contact them they inform me that they're STILL working on a fix. I've simply run out of patience, and faith that these guys actually know how to fix their own software. If somebody from TT is able to fix this issue, I'd gladly change my review. Till then, I'll keep waiting...but at this point I wouldn't recommend TrackingTime to anyone. ### 1/5 — Can't log in? *2017-03-13* I've been using the desk top app so thought it was time to try the iPhone app but I can't log in, it's refusing to accept the details. I've tried several different options including changing PW etc but still unable to set it up. I can't use an online tool with crappy UX. When I first started my business, I tried a lot of task& time tracking platforms. Most are clunky, require too much configuration (redmine) have too many unecesary features(smart sheets) or not enough (trello). TrackingTime has exactly the features I need and an intuitive, clean UI. Perfect! ### 5/5 — Very flexible and useful *2017-02-17, version 1.2* The browser and Mac Versions are great, good design, intuitive, flexible to use with optional categories and sub-task. I use the browser version with reminder popup. And the app - which works but should have a bit interface makeup to match the greatness of Mac and Browser.
