### 3/5 — Great IF it worked

*2026-08-06*

The capabilities of this app are amazing. The tutorials showing what it can do, super impressive.

The problem is it never works. For example, I load songs onto the beat maker and the tempo and pitch are all wrong before I do anything to them. Distorted too.

I’ve watched so many tutorials trying to get this thing right, I wish it would work, because it would be my favorite app if it did.

It does work for listening to songs and saving them to work on later, mostly, although sometimes that won’t even work, the audio won’t play. The beat maker is largely useless on the app. The website is great though.

### 3/5 — Can’t listen to saved projects

*2026-06-20, version 2.0.11*

As the title says. Rest of the app i enjoy despite the usual freemium antics. But I can’t listen to a beat I made a week ago. I can open it, but there’s no audio.

### 3/5 — We need all of the songs

*2026-06-08, version 2.0.10*

Where’s all of the songs? Like the whole music generation!?

### 4/5 — Customization

*2026-05-30, version 2.0.10*

I really like the app and the intuitivity of it but why does it look nothing like the videos. Plus, there are a lot of UI bugs but altogether it’s still a great app

### 4/5 — £1 p/week

*2026-05-08, version 2.0.7*

I was attracted to tracklib via their YT; very keen to try and this version requires a minimal sub fee.
As an individual with aversions to digital payment methods, wish I could send them a postal order!

Check out their channel!

### 3/5 — The beatmaker needs an “export for DAW” option.

*2026-04-01*

I’m an avid supporter of both Tracklib and Splice (have been primary making beats using splice’s “Stacks”) but with the new sample chopping integration from Tracklib I’ve been excited to lock in on Tracklib. The thing is I went through the process of chopping samples, adding FXs, pitching and cooking some dope beats all to find out there no option to bounce the modified stems so I can drag and drop into my DAW and finish my idea. Instead there’s only the option to download one loop of each stem, but then what’s the point of going through and chopping up the samples? Would love for you guys to add an “export for DAW” option, similar to how splice does. Appreciate you guys for the new updates and looking forward to Tracklib’s continued improvements.

### 3/5 — We’re done here.

*2026-03-11*

You can do exactly nothing without paying first. Go watch a video or something I guess. Hitting me up with you gotta pay before you even see the merch is crazy. This isn’t tickets to the show. I’m holding auditions for your app. Next!

### 1/5 — Freemium

*2026-03-06, version 2.0.3*

If u use the free version u get nothing. Can’t save beats, can’t make a beat past 8 bars💔. It’s a cool idea but as someone who was looking to try producing for fun rather than making a commitment to buying anything yet this doesn’t get you far

### 1/5 — Bad

*2026-02-28, version 2.0.2*

Bro charging to mix music but don’t even have a good catalog of songs bum asf

### 1/5 — Better before the Update

*2026-02-27*

Whyyyy!!! The simplicity of the app was wonderful before the update
Bring back the app before the update; or at least give the user the option
The major issue I have with the update is that I can no longer upload 20-40 songs/drums and swipe through them; you have to upload 1 track at a time and this murdered the creative process and workflow
I did like how you’re able to setup your chops tho definitely a great add
But everything else seems too much, especially for a music app that can’t bounce your final product??? I have programs/plugins for this
Also, some tracks I had saved do not upload correctly now :( the drum track is still there but the song that was sampled is nowhere to be found
Anyways thanks for hearing me out love you guys ✌🏼

### 1/5 — Disappointing. Frustrating. Unusable.

*2026-02-26, version 2.0.2*

The new app doesn’t even fit into the screen, with part of the beat maker cut off and no discernible way of even starting a track. Saving the stems you create isn’t an obvious or even uncomplicated process.

On s’y retrouve.

~EJ~

### 2/5 — No delete

*2026-02-21, version 2.0.1*

I can’t delete tracks I added to the multitrack

### 4/5 — Made it bad

*2026-02-21, version 2.0.1*

First it was great now it’s hard to use and I can’t get my loops on the desktop app anymore

### 1/5 — AI Slop

*2026-02-14, version 1.5.1*

This platform is overrun with AI Slop. Beware

### 1/5 — Greed

*2026-02-04, version 1.5.1*

This app is so greedy for money you can’t really do anything on here besides use the free stuff on here and you can’t even save the stuff you worked on

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Broken

*2026-08-08, version 2.0.13*

Longtime Tracklib subscriber and very disappointed. This app doesn’t work. The beat maker UI has been in an unusable state for months. The menu doesn’t load, I can’t press any buttons. My sample collection is gone, it’s just the full songs without the snippets I saved. Love the service they provide but the app does not function at all.

### 1/5 — Worst app I’ve used

*2026-07-18, version 2.0.13*

The “tour” of how to use it shows you nothing helpful bar some of the settings, you can’t cut out the stuff you’re wanting to use and it was just a massive let down

### 1/5 — Fit to screen

*2026-06-22, version 2.0.11*

Buttons were off the edges of the phone screen, the app doesn’t fit the ui of all phones

### 1/5 — Money money money

*2026-06-21, version 2.0.11*

Even didn’t give 10min to understand how it is working. Thanks

### 1/5 — Broken

*2026-06-20, version 2.0.11*

The so-called Beatmaker is completely glitched out and does not work at all. You can’t even press play to hear the music. The buttons don’t even fit on the screen. They say this is a paid feature for pro members, then it needs to work. I don’t want to pay for a broken app.

### 1/5 — Can’t play samples

*2026-06-14, version 2.0.11*

iPhone 17. The app can’t play samples or even load Beatmaker. The play button doesn’t do anything. Waste of money.

### 1/5 — Great App Before the Update

*2026-06-14*

Before the update, this app was fantastic. As a producer and beatmaker, I loved being able to listen to samples on the go and add them to my library before downloading them on my computer to flip into beats. The Beatmaker feature was especially useful because it gave me a good idea of how a sample would sound in a production before committing to it.

Unfortunately, since the latest update, the app has become almost completely unusable. My song library won’t even load, many of the previous arrangements and organizational features appear to be gone, and the app feels broken overall. I’ve tried updating the app, signing out and back in, and troubleshooting on my end, but nothing has fixed the issue.

Tracklib is an amazing service, which makes this even more disappointing. The app used to be a valuable tool for producers, but right now it simply doesn’t work as intended. Please fix these issues and restore the functionality that made the app so useful in the first place.

**Developer response:** Hey, thank you so much for this detailed and thoughtful review. It really means a lot that you loved the app before the update and we're genuinely sorry it's let you down since. The issues you're describing with the library not loading and missing features are things we want to get to the bottom of immediately. Please reach out to our support team via email or our support pages with your details, and mention you left a review so we can follow up once we've investigated and got things back to the standard you deserve.

### 1/5 — Not really sure what the intention is

*2026-06-10*

This app has so many issues. If you have a Tracklib subscription, this is nothing like the desktop app or website experience… lol it’s nothing like Tracklib in general. It’s something completely different, and it feels like they’re trying to restrict the experience to maintain this “beatmaker” feature that no one is asking for, and it doesn’t even work; like literally just keeps taking me back to the main screen when it gives options to pick elements of a song.

Let us browse the catalog, download the songs we paid for, spend credits, sync licenses; this is why people use this platform. Not to make beats. And if you’re dead set on the beatmaker, make it work, integrate it with our library, make a sampler that is actually worthy of using.

Like for real, I’ve been a customer for years, What are yall trying to accomplish here? If this was my first experience with Tracklib I would not know what the company is really about, and it would probably dissuade me from becoming a paying customer. Who ever made the decision to design the app this way is doing yall a grave disservice.

**Developer response:** Hey, thanks so much for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We really hear you, and as a long-time customer your perspective means a lot to us. You're right that the app is currently focused on the Beatmaker experience, and we understand that's frustrating when you're looking for the full Tracklib catalog experience you know and love. Your feedback about browsing, downloading, and managing licenses is genuinely valuable and we're sharing it with our team. If you're running into specific bugs with the Beatmaker, please do reach out via email or our support pages and mention that you left a review so we can follow up properly.

### 1/5 — Can’t like songs?

*2026-05-15, version 2.0.8*

Crazy I need to spend 50$ on top of my 20$ subscription in order to LIKE a song. I can put it in the beat make but can’t like it? Subscription culture has gone too far. Guess I’m gonna find a new sample finder. This is crazy. I’ve been using Tracklib for years. Now I have to pay them because they developed a new app. RIP TRACKLIB

### 1/5 — They missed the boat

*2026-04-14, version v2.0.6*

1. How u gonna charge fa something we can’t even see what we getting
2. Their choices negative plus writing small no option for none
3. They normally have good samples online but they need to study why Suno is #1 it’s called sample yea u sell samples but won’t let us sample how ironic

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — I really love this app!

*2026-07-17, version 2.0.13*

This app has a lot of songs to choose from and sample! And I wish there was a video generator that you can make in those sample breakdowns on YouTube, that will be so cool that you can share it to your friends.
