## What is Trackr?

Trackr keeps what you watch and what you read in one place. Anime, manga, series and films live in a single list, each title holding the episode or chapter you reached, its status, and the date you last touched it.

TRACKING
The plus button moves you one step forward, switches the status when that makes sense, and dates the event in your history. A catch-up evening goes in at once, instead of twelve taps. A paused title goes back to watching on the first episode you mark, and Trackr estimates the time you have left before the end of a series.
Seven statuses: watching, completed, on hold, dropped, plan to watch, rewatching, waiting for more.

COLLECTIONS
Statuses say where you are, collections say what you think. Worth a rainy afternoon, to show a friend, summer 2019: yours, named however you like. One title can sit in several collections at once.

LIBRARY AND BARCODE SCAN
The library lists what you actually own, print volumes and films, kept apart from what you follow. It answers the question you ask standing in the shop: do I already have this one.
The scanner reads the barcode on the back of a volume, identifies the tome and files it under its series. No title to type, no number to look up.

EXPLORE
Anime, manga, series and films are searched in the same field. Recommendations come from your own library rather than a general chart: each title counts according to the rating you gave it, its status, and when you last touched it. Anything you already follow is left out of the suggestions.

RELEASES
Trackr flags episodes that have aired and you have not watched yet on the series you are currently following, and can notify you when one lands. The notification stays optional and is set from the preferences. Air dates come from public databases, not from in-house guesses.

BADGES AND STATISTICS
Twenty-six badges mark real thresholds in your practice: the first episode, the hundredth, the thousandth, ten anime finished without dropping a single one. They unlock by watching and reading, never by paying.
Statistics give you time spent, breakdown by genre and by type, your rating averages and your consecutive login days. Your numbers, with no one to be compared to.

ALSO
Your list stays readable with no network.
Two trusted devices on the free plan.
Private notes on a title, visible to you alone.
Export of your whole library as JSON.

TRACKR PREMIUM
The subscription lifts the free plan's ceilings: unlimited ISBN scanning instead of three a day, collections and media with no cap instead of three collections and thirty media, all twenty-six badges instead of six, detailed statistics, private notes, export and import, unlimited devices.
2 EUR monthly, 10 EUR yearly, or 40 EUR once for lifetime access. These are French store prices: the app shows your country's price at the moment of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, from your account settings.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.1 — 2026-09-08

Version 2.1: Trackr now speaks four languages.

Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese join French and English, using the words the community actually uses rather than a machine translation. The language is picked in Settings, independently of your phone's.

Dates, numbers and prices now follow that language.

Tablets and unfolded foldables are handled, in portrait as well as landscape: text no longer stretches across the whole window, and grids keep their columns.

Fixes: the +1, +5 and +10 shortcuts start from the value on screen, so tapping +5 three times really adds 15. Progress saved offline and refused by the server is kept for the next attempt instead of being silently lost. Copying your recovery codes now reports a failure. One row in the account security settings is finally announced as a button to screen readers.

Your subscription is now recognised by the server, not only by the device it was bought on.

### 2.0 — 2026-08-30

Trackr 2.0 rebuilds the app from the ground up and fixes tracking where it used to get in the way: the status of a series, catching up on an evening's worth, and the time you have left to watch.

LOOK
A new visual identity: a single dark theme on a lavender and pink palette, a redrawn monogram and icon set, and every screen reworked one by one.

TRACKING
Two more statuses, "rewatching" and "waiting for more", for the cases "completed" told badly.
Catching up happens in one go: several episodes at once, instead of twelve taps.
Every step forward is recorded and dated in your device's time zone.
A series you are watching now shows the time you have left before the end.
Episodes that aired since you last looked come up on their own.
A paused title goes back to watching on the first episode you mark, whichever path you took.

COLLECTIONS
An icon and a colour per collection, and pinning for the ones that matter.
Smart lists fill themselves, following your rules.
Your own labels on a title, and reordering titles by hand.
A title taken out of a collection is moved, no longer duplicated across both.

LIBRARY
Multiple selection and bulk actions.
Missing volumes in a series are flagged.
Filters by theme and by length, with combinations you can keep.
Context menu and quick status change on a title, in list view as in grid view.

SCANNING
A burst mode to run through volumes, the torch, zoom, and the history of your scans.

IMPORT
Your MyAnimeList list imports from an export file, statuses and dates included.

BADGES AND STATISTICS
Progress shows on every badge, sorted into four rarity tiers.
An activity timeline, your consecutive login days, your watching counted in days.
Trend curve and personal records for subscribers.

ACCOUNT
A guest mode, to try the app without creating an account.
Email address changes with double confirmation.
Re-authentication before account deletion.
Your devices can be named, and a "this was not me" button ends a session remotely.
Exporting your data is open to every account, with no condition.

SUBSCRIPTION
A clear table of what Premium changes, direct access to managing your subscription from the app, and a message that says what happened when a purchase fails.

FIXES
About thirty, including grids overlapping on tablets, the filter sheet scrolling only every other time, the bulk status sheet opening empty, collections not refreshing when you came back to the screen, events dated in your device's time zone, and the last strings left in French in the English version.

The Terms of Use and Privacy Policy have been rewritten to declare exactly what the app collects. They will be shown to you on launch.

### 1.4.0 — 2026-07-04

This release focuses on Trackr's foundations:

• Strengthened security to better protect your data
• Rebuilt infrastructure for improved speed and reliability
• New maintenance mode: technical work no longer interrupts the app abruptly
• Various fixes and behind-the-scenes optimizations

Thanks for tracking your anime and manga with Trackr!

### 1.3.0 — 2026-05-07

Trackr 1.3.0 - Design System and Stability
May 2026

Design System

All colors now use semantic design tokens, no more raw color values anywhere in the codebase
Typography and spacing fully defined using the golden ratio and exposed as semantic tokens
Component overhaul: reusable parts extracted into standalone components, each with proper variants
All animations now define an in, out, and in-out state, capped at 300ms
New: Opening animation and theme selection (light / dark) on first app launch

Feedback and Interactions

Instant UI feedback at 0ms on tap, synced at 300ms, automatic rollback with a toast notification on failure
Adding, removing, and editing media is now deferred: the action is immediate in the UI while the backend processes it in the background
New loading rules: skeleton after 300ms (known shape), spinner for short waits, progress bar for longer loads. Nothing shown under 200ms
Improved dropdowns: 48px touch target, clear caret icon, hover feedback, opens upward, 150ms animation
Collection view: sorting, filtering, and cards brought up to the same standard as the My list view
Improved search chips
New: Graceful handling of the AniList API temporarily disabled error, the app stays usable and informs the user

Bug Fixes

Adding media in Recent sort mode now auto-scrolls to the top so the new item appears in first position
Switching filters in My list no longer leaves an empty gap above the visible items
Visual misalignments and desyncs when refreshing pages after sort, filter, add, or delete operations
Dark mode, Profile page: the Active status label in the Connection widget now displays in white
Library page title alignment now matches Profile, Collection, and My list pages
Force-update banner now correctly appears when a new version is published
Pre-existing TypeScript bugs on archived collections and incomplete SupabaseCollection types
i18n Username selection: toasts and validation messages are now fully translated
