## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.9 — 2026-08-28

Your plans, adjusted to how you actually live — TrackTap now notices when a scheduled habit isn't working: one you keep missing, or one you reliably do hours away from when it's scheduled. It offers a specific fix — move it to the time you actually do it, or drop the days it never happens on — and applies it in one tap. Decline and it won't ask again unless something genuinely changes.

Reminders you can trust — a full pass over the notification system: streak celebrations no longer repeat, daily and weekly goal reminders now arrive even if you open the app at the "wrong" time of day, multi-dose schedules keep their remaining reminders after the first dose, reminders group neatly in Notification Center, and streak milestones now fire no matter where you logged the habit — Siri, watch, widget, or Apple Health. Plus: pick the day and time for your weekly summary, and TrackTap now tells you if notifications got turned off in Settings.

Reminders that tell you where you stand — a nudge for a habit you've drifted from now shows how far along you are and when you last logged it, instead of a generic line.

A weekly summary that actually says something — instead of a fixed "you completed 3 of 5 goals", your Sunday recap now points out what actually happened in your week: which habits held, which day slipped, what changed since last week. The same recap appears at the top of the Summary tab, so you can read it any time instead of waiting for Sunday.

The weekly summary and plan suggestions are written on your iPhone using Apple Intelligence — your habits are never sent anywhere. On devices without Apple Intelligence, everything reads as it did before. You can turn it off under Settings → Notifications → Personalized wording.

A gentler clock — a plan no longer flips to "Missed" the second its time passes. It now shows "Due now" for a grace window sized to the habit's rhythm: an hourly habit gets a few minutes, a once-a-day habit gets a full hour. Everywhere — the Today tab, widgets, and Apple Watch.

- Enjoying TrackTap? There's now a "Rate TrackTap" link in Settings.
- The Up Next widget is easier to read: each row now has a single status circle — tap it to check the habit off. The old green check button (which made unfinished habits look already done) is gone.

### 1.8 — 2026-08-18

This release fixes a bug in 1.7, causing a potential crash when creating new plans.

### 1.7 — 2026-08-14

**Finish the day, peek at the next** — when you check off your last plan, the Today tab now celebrates with the same calm "All done!" the widget shows. And a new Tomorrow preview at the bottom of the Today tab shows what's coming next — check tomorrow's schedule any time, even on rest days when nothing's planned today.

**Clearer Apple Health syncing** — the Sync Now button on a Health-linked habit now shows exactly what happened: how many workouts were imported, that you're already up to date, or a heads-up when nothing matched — with a pointer to check the workout type and TrackTap's permission in the Health app.

**Reminders clean up after themselves** — when you complete a habit that already had a reminder waiting in Notification Center, that notification now clears automatically. No more swiping away reminders for things you've already done.

**Watch complication, always current** — the Up Next complication no longer carries yesterday's check-offs into the new day; it resets at midnight to show today's schedule. And when you check something off on your iPhone, the complication now updates on your wrist right away — no need to open the watch app first.

**Weekly summary that actually sums up your week** — the Sunday recap notification now looks back at the full week just ended, instead of judging goals by the moment your phone last checked. Daily goals count as completed when you hit them every day (with a fair start for habits added mid-week), weekly goals by the week's total, and monthly or yearly goals by whether you're on pace. No more "0 of 6 goals" after a great week.

### 1.6 — 2026-07-27

**Your day, everywhere (Pro)** — the new Up Next widget puts your plan on the home screen and lock screen: what's done, what's next, what you missed, and a check button to complete a habit without opening the app. The widget updates itself the moment a plan comes due. On Apple Watch, a new Today page lets you scroll your day and check plans off from your wrist, and the Up Next complication keeps your next habit (and your day's progress) right on the watch face. When everything's done, you get a calm "All done!" — you earned it.

Plus, in case you missed this week's update:

**Plans and the Today view** — a whole new way to use TrackTap alongside the classic tally grid. Give any habit a Plan: a time of day and the days of the week it should happen (or mark it "anytime today"). The new Today tab lays out your day as a timeline: what's done, what's next, and what you missed. Tap any plan to log it. Habits linked to Apple Health complete themselves — finish your rowing workout and Row is checked off before you open the app.

**Exact-time reminders** — scheduled habits get a reminder at their exact time (with an optional lead time), replacing the vague pace nudges for those habits. Reminders skip anything you've already done — no more "don't forget" for something you finished an hour ago. Long-press a reminder to mark it done right from the banner.

**Goals that match your schedule** — when you schedule a habit, TrackTap can set its goal to match (three days a week becomes "at least 3 per week"), so streaks and history automatically reflect adherence to your routine.
