## What is TrackTunes?

Every activity can have a soundtrack. TrackTunes puts it on the record.

Connect Strava and your music once, and TrackTunes does the rest. When you finish an activity, it works out what you were listening to while you were moving and writes the track list straight into your Strava description. Use Spotify, or Apple Music℠ on iPhone, where you play your workout music right in TrackTunes.

WHAT YOU GET

Every activity gets the songs you actually
heard during it, in order, written to Strava within minutes of finishing.

Per-track pace. See how fast you were moving during each song, not just
your average for the whole activity.

Power Songs. Over time, TrackTunes works out which tracks you are reliably
faster to. Not just the ones you think pump you up. The ones that measurably do.

Albums. Build a collection of the records you have listened to end to end while
moving.

Top TrackTunes. Your most played tracks and artists, ranked by the distance
you covered to them.

Share cards. Turn any activity into an image worth posting, with the route,
the stats, and the music on it.

PREMIUM

TrackTunes is free to try. Free accounts get a fixed number of activity
updates in total and can open their most recent activity in full. Premium
removes the cap and unlocks your whole history, album tracking, and
Power Songs.

WHAT YOU NEED

A Strava account, plus Spotify or an Apple Music subscription (iPhone). With Spotify, TrackTunes reads your recent listening. With Apple Music, you start your music in the TrackTunes Play tab. Either way, it matches songs to your Strava activities on time and writes the result back to Strava.

### 5/5 — Finally brings music data back to Strava — and makes it way better! 🏃🏻‍♂️🎶

*2026-09-20*

When Strava dropped native Spotify support, I missed having my running soundtracks tied to my workouts. TrackTunes doesn't just bring that back; it takes the feature to a whole new level.

What I love:
▪️Zero friction: It automatically syncs Spotify track lists right into your Strava descriptions in the background.
▪️Pace & Cadence Insights: It maps track timestamps directly to workout data, showing which "Power Songs" actually helped pick up the pace or hit specific SPM (steps-per-minute) targets.
▪️Great Shareables: The custom image overlays make it effortless to share workout metrics and playlist recaps on social media.
▪️Active Developer: Dave, the app’s creator actually listens to feedback and regularly pushes useful improvements.

If you run or train with headphones and love digging into workout stats, this is an absolute must-have add-on for Strava.

### 5/5 — Music motivation

*2026-08-28*

I can’t run unless I’m listening to music and this is a great way to motivate me to keep going, go faster and run longer distances. I love seeing my pace per song and currently seeing which Bad Bunny album is my fastest time for a half marathon!

Apple Music on iPhone. Choose Apple Music instead of Spotify, start your workout music in the new Play tab, and every song you hear while you move is written to your Strava activity.

### 1.6.0 — 2026-09-29

Song PRs
Strava segments, for songs. Run faster during a song than you ever have before and it earns a medal, right in your setlist and on your Strava activity.

Also new
• Song history ranks each activity type separately, so a bike ride never outranks your runs
• Expand your full setlist on Home with "Show all"
• Tappable songs now show an arrow
• A tidier Profile: your activity and song counts live right on the History and Summary tiles
• You asked for it: choose which activity types get music synced (Settings on tracktunes.app)

Thanks for running with TrackTunes. Keep the ideas coming, I read every one.

### 1.5.0 — 2026-09-25

New: Playlists

Build a Spotify playlist from the music you've actually run to, then save it in one tap.

Four ways to build, including Cadence Mix: pick a workout (Easy, Steady, Tempo, or Intervals) and TrackTunes matches songs to your running stride, with a chart of how the mix flows across your run. Or build from your fastest tracks, your most played, or a random shuffle.

Plus fixes and polish. Thanks for trying out TrackTunes!

### 1.4.0 — 2026-09-23

New Charts tab: see what the whole TrackTunes community is playing. Top tracks and artists across everyone, for This Month and This Year.

Profile is now a hub. History, Albums, Power Songs, and your Summary all live there as tiles, so everything about your account is in one place.

New Summary screen: your numbers for This Month, This Year, and all time, plus your most-played artists and tracks.

Cleaner navigation, minor fixes and improvements.

### 1.3.0 — 2026-09-17

New: Lock-In Timeline! See how each song's tempo lined up with your stride cadence across a run. The green dots are the songs you were locked in to. Tap any dot for the track and its BPM next to your steps per minute.

New: Song Best Efforts! Tap any song, in a setlist or on your Top tracks, to see every activity you've played it during, ranked fastest first, with your personal best flagged.
