They have good things about them for sure but my app regularly will grey out my radar and live tracking options so that I can’t find my cat if I really need to. I’ve tried all the solutions (which they provided using AI [ewww]) and the only available solution was to buy a base accessory that bypasses the home Bluetooth & WiFi. You can’t use it the way the advertise it with the way it comes. I spent over $200+ on Tractive and honestly should have home with a different provider. ### 5/5 — First Day *2026-08-20, version 26.33.1* Tiktok: 2dimensionalcat lets be friends pet lovers.❤️💛❤️ Not a lot of things impressed me these days 45 years old in a world that’s crazy. I put it on 1 AM last night and set it up on the app and since I woke up I’ve been playing with it and looking at his activity I went for a walk. I set the virtual fence, added some friends checked out other cats off a leaderboard. It’s been 13 hours. He’s been wearing it and I’m impressed. It’s this is cool. I seen he got up a couple times last night. I see where he sleeps and when he’s not. I took him for a walk like we usually do in the mornings. Check out the data a few minutes ago. He’s taking a nap now so I’m watching that. I usually don’t leave reviews and not in the first 13 hours, but this is cool. I’m not a man of many words but this is pretty darn cool and I feel safer that he’s wearing it. I still have concerns about the lithium battery and failures, but even new cars have problems. But for now it feels safer and I’m more comfortable in our activities. He does wear a harness comfortably. With this collar on, and if you set the harness right, you can get it over this collar with its sleek design. I’m happy about that. Couple things I have concerns with as I wish I had more control. He’s in the safe zone because it’s like when he’s in the safe zone or low power zone like the insights like I can’t really track him down even though I know where he’s at in the house but having maybe a few other things for control like you know an arrow and lead me to him or the positioning could be a little bit more even when looking at the map, but maybe in the future, Thank You!🐈‍⬛💛🐈‍⬛💛🐈‍⬛ ### 5/5 — This really works!! *2026-08-20, version 26.33.1* I have a three legged cat that can’t climb trees so I let him in my backyard which is secure. The GPS alerts me if he’s outside of any boundary or barrier, it’s so easy to use, easy to charge, easy to wear for pets and easy for them to wear. I’m so pleased. And such peace of mind. ### 5/5 — 3 Cats! *2026-08-20, version 26.33.1* I have three cats and I bought a tractor for each one of them and a vest to mount it on because it’s too large to safely put on a collar. I did that with one of my cats that would go outside regularly and after the second day it came off and was in a very overgrown area that all I can do was watch the battery go dead I was able to get a replacement and I have what I call a vest or harness that each one of them have that I was able to mount it on there is a amount that you can get and I was able to put it on each one of their vest and whenever I take them outside and put them in their play area. I’ll make sure that it’s on and it gives me the confidence that if one of one or any of them got loose that I would be able to find them quickly because it is a GPS tracker. I have had all three of them for over a year and I two year plus subscription to the GPS service. Waiting for them to put a smaller room on the market that can be color mounted for cats as I mentioned earlier this particular model is not suited for cats on the collar. My latest tracker will not activate no matter what I try and it’s extremely frustrating that with all of the products I’ve purchased, and all of the memberships I’ve purchased on top of that I still cannot speak to a live person. Unfortunately, because of this, I cannot recommend this to anybody I know clients or otherwise. My new 6 XL is our second Tractive. Adding it to my account was easy and quick. But I’m super happy he’s now learnt his safe patch. The only issue is the battery life is limiting. I would also love a feature for a voice speaker, to give voice commands. This is super helpful if you’re not able to be nearby, or if you’re on holiday for example, so you can still connect & give familiar voice commands to help when a minder is in charge.
