The app shows you how to add the equipment but the add options do not work. You cannot manually add the SN/MDL number and you cannot scan it with your phone. I just expected more from John Deere. ### 2/5 — Needs fixing *2021-11-13* 1. Scanning barcodes -The program rotates the camera image 90°, and the image moves in the direction opposite of the direction the camera image normally moves. 2. The program does not recognize my tractor, my front end loader, or my mid mount mower. I have a 2021 model 1025R, 120R front end loader, and a 54D mid mount mower, none of which are recognized by this app. They have been making this equipment for more than 12 years, just how old is this program? ### 2/5 — Not very good *2020-11-07* Downloaded this app for my 2025. I recognize I don’t have the smart connect. However the app does not recognize any of the accessories(260b backhoe, 120r loader, 60d autoconnect mower). And when you do put in the stock accessories it does not provide maintenance schedules. Feels like John Deere really had no desire to provide this app for the smaller tractors. ### 2/5 — Update a disappointment *2020-09-05* I was hoping it was going to have the same connect and disconnect instructions for my 1025R that the old app used to have but no such luck. It had simple step-by-step pictures on how to install and disconnect implements as well as explanations of dash lights and other things that were just easy to use and now I have no idea if it’s even in the app anymore and if so I can’t find it. Now I’m at a loss and have to go from memory. Not happy! The previous app had basic info on how to safely attach and detach implements. This app has none. As a new 1025R owner, this “update” has none of the basic info for beginners. Now installing and removing loader, bucket, backhoe are more difficult without step by step photos and instructions. Now you have to search for a video on Utube. The results have been total disappointment at the lack of connectivity to my iPhone XR. It shows the tractor sn and connector sn in grey but doesn’t give me the option to connect to it. ### 1/5 — Useless *2020-11-08* What freaking good is this for a 1025. Documents came with tractor. I install it only to find you need Bluetooth. Does a 1025 come with Bluetooth? No. So why is the directions with the manual. No instructions *2020-08-18, version 2.0.2* I have a 4066R cab tractor this app has no instructions only maintenance and a sales pitch for accessories ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — An excellent tool *2022-09-28* Had some difficulty because originally the app wasn’t recognizing my tractor’s PIN. Apparently there were some changes in PIN format for some MY21 and MY22 tractors. Eventually they figured out what the problem was an were able to get the app updated. This app greatly expands the diagnostic and running information available to users as well as allows for tracking maintenance, provides step by step instructions, and even allows you to track your work history. This is an excellent tool especially if you buy the Smart Connector. ### 5/5 — Tractor hours are now tractor seconds. iOS 15 issue? *2021-09-22* Tractor hours are now tractor seconds. iOS 15 issue? Otherwise it’s a great app. Connects instantly, live data readings, great maintenance section, including parts lookup and ordering if you wish. Even reads trouble codes. ### 5/5 — Great *2021-03-28* Great app. We feel some added features to the app would be logging. Record data from the live dash and have history of use with all live data from the dashboard. Log individual jobs to track hours on machines for each job, fuel used, etc. The ability to export that data as an excel file also. ### 5/5 — Manage your expectations. *2019-03-16* I have a 2032R with bucket, mower, and backhoe. They are all covered in the app. As a simple quick reference guide for attaching and detaching this app is fine. It’s better than pulling out the manual and images are better. That’s all I am looking for and works great for that. If you are looking for more, you will be disappointed. Manage your expectations. ### 4/5 — Doesn’t show ash load *2023-06-01* Has the spots on the live dashboard but has yet to populate in over 100 hours. ### 4/5 — Be careful updating! *2020-06-08, version 2.0.1* Updated the app yesterday and all my notes were erased. Kept my maintenance records and notes about my tractor on the app for easy access. All gone. Update: After a fix was released, I got all my notes and maint records back. Thanks! **Developer response:** Thank you for sharing this concern. After installing the latest TractorPlus update (2.0.1) you should see a prompt offering to export the Notebook contents for safe keeping. You can also access the export option from the "Settings" tab at the bottom. ### 3/5 — Live Dashboard Lacks Regen *2022-09-30* I really like this app, but I wished it allowed a user to see if their tractor is in the middle of a regen cycle. My tractor’s auto regen does not increase RPM’s high enough for a successful regen cycle, so I must kick them up. I often go inside the house and wait until the regen cycle is over. It would be nice if the app’s live dashboard showed whether it was in regen or not. Since I have to manually increase my RPM’s, monitoring those alone doesn’t tell me anything. ### 3/5 — It’s okay, but…… *2022-07-16* The app is useful but the dashboard could be much better. 1. Dashboard should be able to fit the screen size. Looks like a phone app on my tablet. It should size accordingly as it would fit more on the screen. 2. Get rid of some of the useless PIDs on the dashboard and add some that are more useful. Fuel temp, fuel level, seat switch, and PTO engagement are ones I’d like replaced as the are not telling the operator anything important that isn’t already displayed elsewhere. 3. Add PIDs for, EGT, DPF temp, boost pressure, and voltage. These are more useful for operators than redundant or non necessary PIDs listed above. ### 3/5 — Trouble codes *2022-03-06, version 2.5.12* This is a great app but won’t allow you to find out what a trouble code means any more than the basic information that you probably already know. I am also having another issue with the app adding two / to the email address for my sales person so message gets rejected ### 3/5 — Please fix *2020-03-17, version 1.5* Love this app. Makes it easy to swap out attachments on my tractor.
