## What is Trade Finder WN?

This App is for WN Flight Attendants.  This app is an additional place to post your trip trades, vacation trades and trips that you want to sell. Why would you want to take the time to post your trades here? Because Trade Finder WN utilizes a custom built search algorithm to find other trade posts within the app that match with yours and then notifies you of your potential matches! In other words, once you make your trade post, you can close your app and go about your day. Trade Finder will let you know when you have a match. Trade Finder drastically simplifies the process of finding trip trades, by saving you valuable search time. 

Features For All Users: 
-Trip Trade Posting: Make a trade post which includes the trip that you have and the trip that you want to trade for. Trade Finder WN will search all other postings within the app and notify you of any matches. The free version of the app allows you to make 3 total posts per month. On the 1st of every month you will have 3 new posts available. (A post is either a trade post, posting a trip for sale, or posting a pick up trip listener)
-In App Messenger: Send direct messages to other WN FA users without having to exchange phone numbers or rely on sending messages through CWA. 
-Pick Up Trip Listeners: Create a listener that will listen for posts by other users that are trying to sell their trips. When creating a listener you specify a minimum amount to be notified for.
-Post Trips for Sale: If you are trying to get rid of your trip by selling it, make a sale post here. You specify the amount that you want to sell it for. If someone has a Pick Up Listener with the specified amount, they will be notified. If they want to pick up the trip, they can send you a message and you can work out how you want to pay through the messenger. NOTE: No transactions are made through the app, and it is the full responsibility of the person selling their trip to pay the amount agreed upon.
-Trip Label/Codes list. Ever wonder what the different codes/labels on your trip or your work screen mean? Use the search feature here to input the code and find out!

Premium Features For Subscribers:
-Unlimited Trade Posts. Literally make as many posts as you need. 
-Vacation Trade Posts. Let the app know what vacation you have and what vacation you want. Trade Finder will let you know if there is a match!
-Reminders: With reminders available you will have the option to enable all of the important reminders for our work group. TTGA, Open Time, and bidding reminders to name a few.
-Image sending within the messenger. Realize the full potential of the in app messenger by unlocking image sending. This will allow you to send pictures, like trip screenshots to potential matches for your trades.

NOTE: ALL of the features within Trade Finder WN are completely separate from CWA and SWA. This app does NOT log into your work screen or secured company website. And does not ask for or store any company login information.

### 1/5 — Too clunky and restrictive to be useful

When I saw this was released I was excited, because I think everyone wants what I thought this would be.

Instead the UI is clunky and you are only allowed to see trips if you’ve set up the exact parameters for that trip. 

There’s honestly probably 100 different parameters I have in my head. Honestly you should be able to save them.

I want to pick something up on Monday… or Tuesday. Or I only want to pick up if it’s 300 or above… but then if it’s a 24 hour Maui. And I’ll take a trip from any base if it means time to go see my family. Or this day I can do a 3 day to block, but would also take a turn if nothing else pops up. Tomorrow I can only do a 2 day.

I imagine other people are seeing the same because there’s only 9 trips in my base. The problem is that it’s so restrictive I can’t even see what those are unless I setup the matching search. And I’m not going to waste my time building 100 searches every month to just see those 9. Facebook isn’t perfect but it’s still the best way for the time being.
