## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.3.1 — 2026-10-08

Site photos, and the app now shows its working.

PHOTOS OF THE JOB
Take or attach up to six photos when you write a job. Mark them up with pins,
circles, measuring lines and notes, and type what each one is. The app reads
the photos for context and uses your typed labels for the sizes, so what you
write is what gets quoted.

SEE HOW EVERY QUANTITY WAS WORKED OUT
Tap any material and the app shows the sum behind it in plain English. 6
joints x 4 fixings per joint = 24 fixings, divided by 100 per box, plus 10
percent, so 1 box. No guessing where a number came from.

A SECOND PAIR OF EYES, AND YOU CAN ACT ON IT
Every list is now checked for what is missing, what looks wrong, and what you
were never asked. Anything missing comes with a quantity already worked out,
so one tap puts it on your order. Safety critical work gets a harder look:
flues and chimneys, gas, electrics, structural, fire rating.

CHANGE ONE LINE WITHOUT STARTING AGAIN
Something not right on a single material? Say what is wrong and only that row
changes. Everything else on the quote stays put.

EDIT WHAT YOU ASKED FOR
Your original job description is saved and editable. Change it, rework the
quote, and the prices you have already typed carry across.

PRICE IT HOWEVER YOU LIKE
Type the price per unit or the total for the line, and the app tells you which
figure it wants. Either way it saves to your materials library correctly.

ALSO IN THIS RELEASE
- Fixed quantities coming out far too high on anything counted loose but
bought in boxes, bags, rolls or lengths.
- Material rows redesigned so names, prices and buttons stop crowding
  each other.
- Product search now finds things it used to miss.
- Jobs are titled with your own reference instead of the first few words of
  what you typed.
- Documents made on one device now open on your others.
- Risk assessments are written for the actual job instead of the nearest
trade template, and no longer print another trade's hazards.
- Labour has its own section on quotes and invoices, and you are warned
before issuing one with labour left at zero.
- Method statements follow the real spec instead of inventing one.
- Plan reader allowance is shown before you use it.

### 1.2.1 — 2026-10-05

Quote faster, and change a quote without starting again.

• Edit your job description and rework a quote. Your entered
prices carry over to any material that's still in the list.

• "Why this quantity?" on every material. See the working in
plain English: the measurements, the pack size, the waste
allowance and what you actually buy.

• Something wrong on one line? Say what's wrong in your own
words and that line gets reworked. The rest of the quote,
and every price you've entered, stays exactly as it is.

• Add photos of the job and mark them up. Drop a point, circle
something, measure along a line, and type what it is.

• Enter a price per unit or for the whole line. £20 for 5 boxes
works as well as £4 a box.

Also fixed: a fault that could multiply the quantity on items
sold in boxes or packs. Those quantities are now correct.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-09-13

What's New in 1.2.0

Change one measurement, and every quantity updates.

• Job measurements — open a quote's Materials tab and you'll see the figures the estimate was built from: what you told us, and what we chose for you. Change a post spacing or a depth and every material worked out from it recalculates instantly, without regenerating the quote or losing your prices.
• Figures we assumed are now marked "Confirm on site", so nothing is presented as fact when it was a judgement call.
• Invoices you generate now appear under Jobs → Invoices, ready to mark paid or send to Xero/QuickBooks. Any you made earlier are recovered automatically.
• New Method Statements section in Jobs, alongside RAMS.
• Your backup screen now shows exactly what's saved to your account — including your logo, rates, VAT settings and T&Cs.
• Plan reader and quote generator now check their own arithmetic and correct quantities that don't follow from their working.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-09-09

Send quotes to Xero and QuickBooks
You could already send invoices — now quotes go across too, and the send button is where you'd expect it on both.

Rewritten RAMS and method statements
Risk assessments now list hazards specific to the job you've quoted, with initial and residual risk scores. Method statements are a proper step-by-step guide: what to do and how, the tools and materials for each step, a measurable check, and the common mistake to avoid. Every step has a tick box and space to initial, so you can hand it to your team or work through it yourself.

Edit documents without starting over
Change a measurement in your RAMS or reword a term and it just saves. No more regenerating the whole quote for a small tweak.

New Slate template
A cleaner, more modern layout for quotes and invoices, alongside refreshed versions of the existing designs.

Labour fixes
Labour is no longer added when you haven't assigned anyone. You can add a staff member and their day or hourly rate directly on the quote, and save them to your team for next time.

Also fixed
• Your logo now appears on the dark templates
• Material prices show on quotes, not just invoices
• VAT on labour now sits with VAT on materials
• Fixed the error blocking the cost estimator and accounting connections

### 1.0.9 — 2026-09-07

Send quotes and invoices straight to Xero and QuickBooks

Connect your accounting software once in Settings, then send any quote or
invoice across in a tap. Quotes arrive as a draft quote in Xero or an estimate
in QuickBooks, so when your customer accepts it you can turn it into an invoice
in one click. Customers are created for you if they are not in your books yet,
and everything arrives as a draft, so nothing reaches your customer until you
send it.

Add someone to a job without leaving the quote

Putting a name on a job no longer means going off to the Staff tab and losing
your place. Add their name and their hourly or day rate right where you assign
them, and choose whether to keep them in your team or use them on this job
only. Handy for subbies you only need once.

Labour that matches what you priced

Labour now only appears on your quote or invoice when you have assigned staff
or typed a labour total yourself. Before, a labour line could turn up on the
finished document that was not showing on the quote screen.

If a job has hours on it but no labour charge, the app now says so while you
are pricing, rather than letting it go out as materials only.

The labour display setting, hours and rate or a single total, is now applied to
every document properly.

VAT on labour now sits with VAT on materials at the top of the materials list,
so both are in one place.

Clearer wording if your session runs out, instead of an error that looked like
the feature was broken.
