The user interface has really been thought through to great effect. Certificates are easy and fast to produce on site, and look professional when submitted to the client. The AI feature stremlines the testing perfectly well! Very impressed so far and looking forward to further updates as and when they come along! ### 5/5 — U can’t beat this *2025-10-23* I was using icerti which in my opinion is the best of a bad bunch as certification softwares are painful to use , jarring , slow and you can only fill out the schedule the way the software lets you which means a lot of messing about jumping from one thing to another , well this Tradecert has flipped that on its head , so simple to use and as an AI function that I know everyone Electrician would need after using it so trust me get on it ! Best work app I have now by far ! ### 5/5 — Best in the GAME! *2025-10-23* This is 100% a game changer for us. Using with a MacBook Air and iPhone with access to old documents it’s taking the pain out of typing up the circuit schedules. It’s reading multiple pages, even photos of old docs that have been typed up and then have hand written results on them. It still picks it up. Can’t tell you how much work this will take away. The best feature is the realtime updating. We can have more than 1 engineer working on the same certificate and the results and info are changing as they are inputting the info. It’s quick, neat, and so much more efficient than the popular software I used before. I’ve fully moved over and I’m really impressed with how professional my certificates look now. The AI observation and notes feature is brilliant. Instead of writing a few rough words, it gives you the correct regulation reference and a clean, professional classification straight from the book. Just type in any observation, press done, and it automatically codes everything perfectly. I’m really looking forward to the other certificates being added so I can handle Fire and PAT testing all in one place without needing separate apps. Highly recommend this to anyone who wants to take their certification process to the next level. The support from the creators is also insane. These guys really care about this app. They take all suggestions and even reached out to me on the phone to speak about my ideas for features when it very first came out. All I can say is, Try it. I don’t write reviews, but this deserves one. From an electrician that is genuinely impressed. ### 5/5 — Highly recommended *2025-09-10, version 10.2.4* We were swapped to Tradecert from the NICEIC online certification. The Tradecert software is great, works offline, very nice layout and easy to use, makes doing the certs enjoyable again. Spoke to Harvey the developer on the phone, they are very interested in feedback to develop the software further, highly recommended ### 5/5 — Certification *2025-09-04* Been using this software for the past week, speeds certification up and when I found a little bug, I got a phone call 20 minutes later reassuring me that I haven’t updated to the newest software! As soon as I did that it worked straight away. Great service and very punctual. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 3/5 — Software is ok - not great but has potential *2026-06-20* Software is good in principle but in practice it is not quite there yet. Decent on commercial Propertys but not as reliable as other softwares out there! Some features are great if you have good signal or WiFi but when using in a remote area offline no photos can be added and other little niggles. Works out a lot more expensive than easy cert by double plus tokens if you want the ai features. Let’s face it you want the ai features otherwise the software is pointless 😂 ### 3/5 — Need Options *2025-07-31, version 6.7.0* I will admit, the app is great, works well. The downside is the monthly fee. As for a sub contractor that occasionally has his own work and can’t justify the monthly fee, they should provide an option for a 1 off payment to download for a certificate. ### 4/5 — Great Software *2026-08-18, version 27.0.1* We went to TradeCert following a disappointing experience with a competing company who alleged to offer the same services (wasn’t entirely true). Firstly, the app isn’t perfect (minor imperfections) but the customer service in dealing with anything is next to none. Charles is always very fast to respond to any enquiry. The ai features of this app truly save me time, particularly the ai check when writing an observation. I like that it will write a professional summary with referenced BS7671 numbers and recommended code. TradeCert has certainly saved me time and therefore money when carrying out testing. ### 5/5 — Great software! *2026-08-20, version 27.0.1* Really good software best I’ve used and the customer service is brilliant. It is useful to anyone even a big electrical contractor or a small self employed electrician. It is easy to use and clear what needs to be added to a certificate to complete it. This will be the only software I use from now. ### 5/5 — Tradecert has been a revelation for our company. *2026-08-14* For years our company and personnel have fell victim to sub standard, complicated and ‘clunky’ test certificate softwares. Tradecert is the best thing to happen in our company in years. It has drastically reduced the time and stress of filling out testing reports and we couldnt be more grateful of this service. A huge issue which had held us back is the perceived fear of moving 100’s of distribution board information over to a new platform, with the Ai ability you can do it in minutes and it’s took a couple of days to move everything over. The customer service team are top class and you can get into touch with a member of the team over WhatsApp or the phone immediately if you have questions or require technical support. You need AI tokens to use the AI functions but they are very liberal with distributing them out of you need them, I expected this to be another form of getting money out of you but this just hasn’t been the case. Overall, I couldn’t rate this service higher and I recommend it to any electrician, whether you work in domestic or industrial. ### 5/5 — Fantastic Software *2026-08-13* I used to use NAPIT Fast test (which was far from fast, especially on an IPad which I use as my main laptop). The Software is super easy to navigate which is the first time saver! The AI functions are outstanding and have saved me hours already on the 10 or so certs I have done on the software. The developers are constantly carrying out updates to improve the software (which is almost perfect already). They also respond quick if you have any questions or queries ready the software. I would 100% recommend this to anyone looking to save time and improve the look of their electrical certificates. ### 5/5 — Amazing *2026-07-09, version 24.0.5* Absolutely amazing, far superior than other software I have used. The updates they were bring in were terrible to us. Thought id give trade cert a go. The guys are really helpful. The app’s fantastic. So much quicker,easier,more intuitive to use. And the updates theyve done so far are improving use ability even more.
